My boyfriend, sadly, didn't get to pre-register in time. After me reminding him 50 times to do it, since December. stare So now we have to buy his pass at the con. I know the lines get ridiculous really fast and he doesn't want to spend his entire Friday at the con waiting in line and I don't want him to either. Does anyone have any idea how early you'd have to be at the convention Friday morning to at least get a decent spot in line?

I would get there at at least an hour before the opening ceremony which I think starts at 8am. That is your best bet. =)

I would assume people would be camping out the night before or something to beat the rush. haha

Anyone know the times for Thursday? My friend and I have pre-registered but even with that I had to wait in line for a couple of hours on Friday morning last year. This year we are going down Thursday morning. We plan to just do some stuff in Seattle but I'd like to get my badge and be done with it so I don't have to worry about it on Friday.

Pre-Reg is 3-9 last year. It should still be the same.
If you're registering on Friday get there early!! We got there at 5:00A.M to register my brother, and there was already a 200+ people line. Maybe around 7:00 so you don't have to wait too long.

Last year I had to stand in the registration line Friday morning and I got there around 6am and out of line a little after 10 am. Though I did get a huge group cutting in front of me, no one around me was happy about that.
