You are the apple...So if you havent heard the buzz about this chick, Rebecca Black, here's her music video.I saw her name around the interwebz, and just figured she was some new pop star like Beiber (who she idolizes, btw). Then I actually saw her on Inside Edition and saw what crap this video is. The lyrics suck and she can't sing to save her life. So she basically is like every new pop star, but even worse. Then I saw the interview Inside Edition did with her, where i learned of her love for the Biebz and also, believe it or not, she can actually (almost) sing! They had her sing live in the interview and honestly, with a bit of training, she could be an AMAZING singer. So I'm pretty sure the crappy monotone voice she has in the song can be traced back to HORRIBLE editing. The lyrics are still crap though. I couldnt find the Inside Edition interview, but here's one from Good Morning America, where at 3:05, she belts out a couple lines from the National Anthem and does a pretty darn good job... so, once again, the editing is at fault, id say. Random related fact: I went to a show tonight and the very first band played a verse from the song at the end of their set, and from then on, the song was the joke of the night. Thoughts on the girl? Think she might have a chance to make it big, if she uses her actual voice in a song? and I am your core.

I think she's too young to be doing anything after 11 on a Friday.
And yea her lyrics are way too literal and unoriginal. I could do something with the beat but she screwed that up.
Wouldnt buy her songs, sorry to say.

I couldn't stand it; though this one parody on the song was rather amusing.
However, I pity the poor girl for the negative stigma that she now has, as well as the man that wrote the lyrics.

Her real voice is really good *the only reason i know that is because she goes to my school* live, so, if she had a song where she wasn't as auto-tuned, then, she would probably get less negativity on a video of hers....

If you can get this to her, tell her I hope she gets people to listen to her again.

Yeah that "black guy" ((sorry don't know his name)) in the music video was the one who wrote it and Pretty Young Panda if she's good then get her to sing without auto tune and try to get users to watch that

With greats lyrics, and beats, i guess this girl can get as popular as bieber. She does have a huge audience, even-though most dislike her, she can prove she really can sing and turn everything around. She's gotta try real hard, though, starting with writing great songs.

I really don't mind Rebecca at all. I think that maybe with a bunch of training, she could be another average singer. I think that it is completely unfair to encompass the artist in a song the didn't write, and had to perform as written. Listening to other songs by Ark Studios, most of the lyrics lack all emotional depth to them and are generally generic and cliche. People unfortunately though, connect the songs that Ark writes to the teenager that is picked to sing it. It really irritates me.
But don't get me wrong, the song is awful. But at the same time, that makes it great XD, especially the sheer amount of parodies stemmed from it. People don't hate Rebecca because she is famous, she is famous because people hate her...
