Green Intentions: Shenanigans & Guinness “It isn't like I am doing this for myself Ampule,” breathlessly worded the 'blonde' rookie field medic as she worked tentatively on the Saint Patrick's Day preparations, staring up at her with his large rounded crimson hues the chubby totodile simply sighed at his trainer. “oh come on now, don't give me that face. I made---” She trailed off from her original choice of words then just simply gave her companion a cheeky grin. If she so much as uttered the sentence 'I made cupcakes' the Big Jaw pokemon would make faces and refuse to behave for the remainder of the evening. Nibbling on her bottom lip Acacia hung yet another green and white banner up in the rec. room, she had spent hours alone cleaning the chamber as well as making painstakingly long trips to Camphoreon City to get various party supplies several days before. None of this however was for herself she continuously ranted towards her pokemon almost defensively, she as well as Ampule was well aware that the party indeed was just that; for her. It isn't for me! It is for everyone else to notice me. I might as well be made of invisible garbage, they can't see me but gawd if I don't seem to stink to them. Always sneering down at me from over upturned noses! Don't they freaking know who I am!? I am Evalyn A. Cretchfield! I deserve to at least be noticed, even if I am just a grunt. A grunt, please that is such a lowly word. Though it is better than being a Trainee, I never thought I was going to pass that crap. I will show them though, I will throw an amazing party and everyone will take notice of me. Loudly fuming the slender built white-haired medic threw yet another banner across the back of the room while attempting to pin it to the wall, all in all the rec. room looked clean and fairly festive and it certainly smelled better than what it normally did; even the small kitchenette in the rear of the quarters was spotless and orderly. ---- The effort had been made and the stage was set. The scent of cabbage rolls, varies sweets, breads, and stew trailed out into the hallways like a lingering siren call; subtle and enticing. Tables were set off to the side adorned with the small feast accompanied by another metal fold up bench which was littered with various degrees of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including a green tropical punch. Regardless if people cared or not everything was labeled in bold print, name of the item then in smaller text the compound of ingredients used within the dish or beverage. As a medically trained personnel the tiny framed woman knew that labeling was a core rule of thumb that most people didn't take to heart, she refused to allow anyone to go into anaphylactic shock because of something so inconsiderate as lack of information. Glancing around the room once more Acacia beamed wolfishly downward towards her totodile excitement clearly visible on her features, toothily grinning up at his owner Ampule stroked the cloth of the silken leprechaun hat that was snugly fastened to his head. It was his job to hand out goodie bags to other pokemon that showed up, there was even a small pot of 'gold' coins that he was solely in charge of. The coins in the pot were made out of sugar-free pokemon friendly chocolate, either way Ampule was looking forward to doing his job. “Alright, we are all set! Now let the fun begin.” Acacia murmured softly, it was only a matter of time before other grunts began to make their way down the halls of the third floor. And if that subtle method failed the pale complexioned grunt had also placed a few notices around in various (approved) locations, she was Evalyn Acacia Cretchfield today would be her day to be noticed even if she got in trouble for it. What was the worst that could happen? Demoted to trainee? Uh-oh. She hadn't thought about that. (Go for it guys! This RP will be running from Sunday March 13th to 9 PM EST Thursday March17th )

"Oh I give up on you," Cassie snapped as her Oshawott, Shin, stopped to look at yet another shiny thing. Sweet Arceus, he's more ADD than I am. Cassie thought poisonously, eventually growing exasperated enough to pull out Shin's Pokeball and call him back.
That's what he got--he was going to make her late!
And like hell was the young Trainee going to be late to her first semi-official party since joining Team Rocket. There was just no way that was going to happen.
As such, Cassie did make it nearly on time, and she was late enough to just call it 'fashionably late' if anybody asked. When she opened the door to the rec room, though, she was a little relieved to find that nobody else was there except for one girl and her overly-decorated Totodile.
Then again, Cassie had no room to talk about going over the top on accessories. At the moment, she was adorned in a white t-shirt and jeans, though she had a decorative green sparkly belt around her waist, accompanied by plastic gold and green necklaces around her neck--rather like the ones she'd worn to celebrate Mardi Gras--green earrings, fake green hair clipped into her natural blond, a fake tattoo of a green shamrock on her left hand, and a shamrock hair clip above her left temple, on the other side of the fake hair.
"Let's get this party started, huh?" Cassie said as she walked in, an electric grin lighting her face. "This looks so great, didja do all this on your own?" Cassie admired this girl--she didn't think she'd be able to pull off something like this on her own.
What did the girl say her name was...? Oh, she never asked. Woops. "Oh, jeeze, I'm sorry! I'm Team Rocket Trainee Cassie." She paused, playfully puffing up her chest as a joke. "What's your name?"

Ampule happily danced from foot to foot singing festively to the odd little otter pokemon that entered with the trainee. “ Taa taa taa taa ta taa taaa! (nonsensical gibberish)” Whimsically yammered the totodile merrily, tipping his hat to the younger woman and her companion the barrel chested crocodile reached down into his pot of 'gold' and pulled out a small goodie bag for the fellow water-type. “Dile, dile, dile, toda! (It's gots sweets, from my mommy, enjoy it!)” Ampule politely offered towards the Oshawott, grinning wolfishly Acacia strode across the room with brisk even strides; her slender legs hidden underneath stylish black and green trimmed skater jeans.
The girl was certainly in the spirit of the holiday, extending her hand emerald bangles and bracelets including a few glowing neon ones clacked together making small sounds with the fluid action. “You betcha, put it all together myself. With his help of course,” a slender digit pointed over to the lepredile that had once again decided that doing a jig seemed to be fun. “Ah, nice to meet you Cassie. Acacia, grunt level field medic, at your service. Can I get you a drink, maybe something to eat?”
A good hostess, through and through. It after all was her up bringing. Twisting her narrow waist towards the side the 'blonde' motioned with her natural left hand towards the refreshment table almost absentmindedly. “You seem rather, under-aged not that it really matters,” Acacia playfully mused teasingly. “but I also have a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Just in case you don't drink. Either way, you showed up just in time. Let me know if I can get you anything.”

He had heard about the upcoming party; apparently some rich girl was showing off, and or genuinely nice. This, however, had been conversation overheard in the dininghall that had not especially interested him: he had not considered attending even for a moment. Around half an hour ago, however, Skiron had approached him with a poster in his mouth and an expectant look on his face; apparently the ice type was set on making him attend and be sociable.
"I still think this is a poor idea," Frost informed his companion as they approached the recc. room that was to be the venue. "I will not enjoy myself: this is a waste of time." Sadly it seemed that the Glaceon did not intend to give quarter, and so the pale-eyed man sighed softly and paused outside the door to smooth down his already immaculate grey suit and glance again at the label on the bottle of wine he had been saving up for just such an emergency as being forced to attend a party at short notice. It would be impolite to turn up empty handed after all, and he had no desire to be impolite to his assocaites. "Very well," he sighed to the pale-coated eeveeloution beside him, "but when the midden hits the windmill, I hope you know that I shall hold you responsible."
replied Skiron, even though he knew his trainer couldn't understand him,
"Whatever you just said," Frost murmured as he pushed the door open, "it sounded rather smug..." Ah, it seemed that either he was rather early, or that the party wasn't very popular. In either case, he was pleased to find that the room wasn't crowded; it should make it easier to spot the hostess for one thing... Hold on, the person currently speaking to the girl who had entered before him was that delicate-looking young man he'd glimpsed around the base on a couple of occasions.
Except that it wasn't.
On closer inspection, though the figure was boyish, the purple and white haired personage was definitely female. Bother. Suppressing his disappointment, Frost approached the woman he presumed to be the hostess and extended his hand in greeting. "You are Ms. Cretchfield? You may call me Frost, and you may call my Glaceon Skiron. I brought a bottle of wine: a fairly acceptable Chardonnay, where would you like me to... put... Your Totodile has a hat." That was peculiar, or perhaps it was the latest fashion? He hadn't been able to keep up with the things kids were into when he'd been a kid.
As his trainer addressed the thin woman, Skiron gave the Oshawott a polite nod before turning to regard the Totodile with slightly bemused interest.

Sierra hadn't heard about any sort of party. Heck, she didn't even know what time of year it was, having forgotten to look at a calendar anytime recently. It wasn't as if she was ditzy...just that time hadn't meant much during her rigorous training. Of course, she really needed to get back into the groove of things, now that she was beginning to socialize with her fellow Rockets again.
At the moment, however, she was searching for a wandering Pikachu. Again.
"I swear, Imma' put a leash on that little pest," she grumbled under her breath, following her shiny Umbreon, Khalon, down the hallway. He'd managed to track her this far, and she paused as he did, to sniff about, then turn down a side hallway. Of course, thinking that more paws and noses would be more benefit, Sierra had also released Layla, but the Dark Eevee seemed more inclined to stop and groom herself rather than help. Really, the human should have known better.
Marle still had a headstart on the group, and she reached the party location minutes before her trackers would catch up with her. The delicious scents had first drawn the Pikachu to the rec. room, but the sounds from within were the final hook that pulled her in to investigate. She peeked her head in the door, then grinned and dashed inside, heading towards a gathering group of Pokemon to see what exactly was going on in here. 'Hey! What's all this? Is this a party? Can I jo--'
She was cut off from a low, sharp whistle from the doorway, and she skidded to a halt with a visible cringe. Darn it...in trouble again.
"Dammit, Marle," Sierra grumbled, patience wearing thin with the wayward Pika, and it told in her weary voice. "Why can't you just behave for once? Would it ki--...err, what's all this?" She paused, blinking and letting her icy blue eyes travel over the room and all its decorations. Marle took this as an opportunity to try and worm her way out of trouble, bounding up to Sierra's shoulder and pointing around enthusiastically, as if she'd planned to lead her here all along.
"Nice try," the human quipped in reply, knowing full well what the Pokemon was up to. "You're still in trouble later." Cue Pikachu ear droop. Glaring pointedly for a minute more, Sierra's expression slowly softened, and she allowed herself a slight smirk. "But for now, you're off the hook...but only because something here smells delicious, and I'm hungry."
Khalon's eyes scanned the room, first for trouble, then with a different sort of interest. Even Layla seemed to have taken a moment from her personal grooming to take it all in. What in the world was all this?

Acacia had all but finished guiding the trainee towards the refreshment booth just as another guest entered the doorway, ever polite in a social setting the wisp of a woman excused herself from Cassie and sanitized her hand before excepting the gentleman's hand. “Ah, you are correct. I am Acacia Cretchfield it is a pleasure to get to meet you Mister Frost, I hope you do enjoy yourself,” retracting her hand as her greeting finished the slender figured grunt found herself smiling just a touch bit more at the blue-eyed man, his mannerisms were awkward though his vocalization was articulate; something that she was accustomed to due to her upbringing. “Oh a Chardonnay, that was extremely thoughtful of you Frost, if you would like you can set it on the table labeled alcoholic beverages and yes my totodile, his name is Ampule, is wearing a hat. I like to dress him up, it makes him feel special.” She affirmed without missing a beat even though the blonde haired man jumped subjects before finishing his sentence.
Offering up the travel size bottle of gelled ethyl alcohol towards her fellow operative Acacia tilted her head to the side wearing a pleasant grin, she didn't know why but the man just seemed the type of person to maintain personal hygiene. “Hand sanitizer? I also have a few bottles around the recreation room, which you are more than welcome to help yourself. Everything is labeled by the way just in case you are allergic to something.”
Ampule chuckled and snickered loudly as he pulled yet another goodie bag from his pot and offered it out towards the Glaceon, the question hung momentarily in the air before the young totodile seemed ready to answer. “” He loudly announced in a childish tenor as he spoke, his little stubby arms flailing around wildly. He was excited to see so many other pokemon in one place, erupting into fit of laughter the blue scaled water-type waddled back and forth on his feet just as yet another guest peered into the room.
A pikachu all by itself.
Scratch that, an electric mouse that was seeming being chased by it's owner. Snickering mirthfully Ampule waved energetically towards the new comers and began to pull out several goodie bags for the pokemon that the female human brought into the room.
Out of the corner of her brightly tinted crimson hues Acacia caught sight of the unfamiliar operative, waving politely for just a moment the white-haired field medic then made a come hither gesture at the girl; the motion meant as a welcome and nothing more.

Well, he supposed being a clean young woman was acceptable. Not as good as being a clean attractive young man, but you couldn't have everything in life. "Thank you," Frost replied, failing to return her grin with any expression at all but accepting her offer of hand sanitizer. "As for allergies," he rubbed his hands over one another carefully and raised one eyebrow a notch, "the only thing I am allergic to is other people's filthy hands... That was a joke, I am not actually allergic to that... I don't believe it's possible to be directly allergic to dirty hands, only if they have something that you are allergic to on them. I suppose you could be 'allergic'," the quotes around that word were almost audible, "if you had a very poor immune system but I do not... I shall go and put the wine with the other drinks now."
At least she had no excuse to think him strange, Frost pondered as he carried the bottle over to the table of alcohol; his pokemon wasn't the one wearing a hat to make it feel special after all. Mm. Odd in different ways, but both apparently aware of how important it was to be clean, that was more common ground than he had with many people... Ah. There was more white wine there, and space for his bottle; how fortuitous. Frost placed the Chardonnay carefully on the table and spent a few moments making sure that the labels on all the bottles were pointing precisely forward. Once satisfied that it was neat enough, he wandered back to where the hostess stood, and where Skiron was still addressing her Totodile.
Oh dear, a baby. He wasn't much good with young-things. Well, he would make an effort all the same. He didn't dislike young pokemon, not in the least, he just wasn't used to dealing with them. Perhaps the approaching pikachu would have a better idea of how to behave; judging by its enthused approach it might be a kindred spirit to Ampule, as indeed might the Oshawott. He hoped one of them had a clue; he was rather at sea himself.

Better late then never they always say. Or at least in Saleen’s mind that was acceptable enough. She had decided to quit being anti social and locking herself in the lab all day. She might as well ‘converse’ with other’s and attempt to potentially make ‘friends’ even. Despite how she was, Saleen was actually very friendly and popular in her youth, she just get’s so absorbed in her work at times that she fails to remember that she should socialize now and again. So when she heard of the party she decided to give it a try and see how it was.
She was followed by a floating light, her new pokemon Ciara. The little litwick followed her like a duckling to it’s mother. She was very clingy….Saleen was hoping she would grow out of it. She wasn’t wearing her lab coat today, but rather just her dress. Her hair was styled in the usual bao pigtails, and everything was otherwise normal. Saleen had always prided herself on her beauty and intelligence when she was younger, so she seeked to keep herself looking as lovely as ever!
When she entered the room, she looked around at the group that had accumulated. Pretty small for a party. “Lite liiiiiiiite!” called out Ciara as the litwick floated around happily, spinning to the music. She motioned to Saleen to join her, but Saleen just shook her head and looked around. Hopefully this wasn’t going to just be a waste of her time..

There was something off about the man yet at the same time his way of being was cute. Acacia decided that the term fit with the man named Frost and went with it. His attempt at a joke was less than humorous but the boyishly dressed woman spared a sweet chuckle just for him and his efforts. “You are very right, can't be allergic to dirty hands, but certainly something that might be on them. And again with the lack of a fair immune system there would be a chance that just being near dirty hands could do a deal of harm without meaning to. Ah right, you go to that Frost, I will be here upon your return.”
As the man walked away to set his offering among the rest of the displayed options, Acacia found herself watching him leave towards the table. Dislodging her scattered thoughts with a fluttering of her eyes the trimly kept grunt spotted yet another guest, with luck they would be mingling soon.
I forgot exactly how much I never really did like hosting parties. Wow, complete hindsight on that one Evalyn.
Greeting the new comer to the party Acacia found herself more focused on the little candle looking pokemon that accompanied the woman. “Well,” she offered in a silken tenor as she spoke towards the dress donned female. “I am please to see you could make it, miss?” Fishing for a name from the woman as she flashed her pearly white well-tended teeth charmingly towards the bun-haired operative, out of the corner of her eye she could make out Ampule engaging in conversation with the glaceon of Frost's while seemingly trying to gather the attention of the floating litwick.
“” Ampule declared firmly then stared at the pokemon that was dancing. “” Loudly boomed the lepredile as he wildly gestured with his hands in attempt to beckon the little litwick towards the group of congregating pokemon.
Once again by her elbow Frost appeared, he was certainly a good looking fellow and if she had any sort of hetrosexual urge in her petite framed body Acacia would have found him appealing. However, she was not so easily swayed with the male gender. Calming her internal babble, she brushed her hand through her long purple and white bangs. “My name is Acacia by the way. Please make yourself comfortable. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as other refreshments are available at the stands towards our right. Everything is labeled for your convenience.”

A party was not an environment that Tambrey was used to at all. It was, however, sure to be a good way to actually meet more people and besides, Ace was hosting it so she really had to go as far as she, and Palu too it seemed, was concerned. The scarf-clad Pidgeotto was neatly preened and strutting alongside her trainer as they approached the designated room.
"Okay. We're here. And," She poked her head around the door, performing a very quick recon "So are some other people. Hrm. I still think we should have tried to get out and get something more expensive than this."
"Pidgee-oh! toh!" Palu seemed to be both reassuring the dark-haired woman and scolding her at the same time- it may have been cheap, and unfortunately red, but it was the best her trainer could do and Palu knew this; she thought the human should accept that and simply offer it gracefully.
"Okay. Okay..." Tam' nodded and then blinked as Palu was strutting in ahead of her. Tambrey's entrance was less graceful, but at least she was smiling as she entered the room behind her bird.

Skiron smiled softly at the young big-jaw, Personally he felt it looked a little silly, but it wasn't his opinion that counted... Ah-ha, more people were arriving. Skiron chirred to the approaching ghost type and flying type, Mmmh of course; while he was pleased to see more pokemon, his trainer probably wasn't so thrilled by the humans that accompanied them. He felt a little guilty for making the quiet man come to a gathering like this, but for one he felt it would do him good to make the effort to get along here, and for another he himself has just wanted some time with other pokemon. He loved his trainer but... well, he just wanted to be able to have a conversation that wasn't one sided for once.
More people. It wasn't crowded yet, but this was definitely a gathering. He should find somebody to engage in conversation, or maybe he should get some food before people started touching it. Egh... It seemed that Skiron was happy at least. Sighing internally, but remaining externally impassive, Frost drifted over to the drinks table and subjected the beverages to a withering stare. Alcohol was supposed to help you get along with people. Alcohol made you lose your inhibitions... No. He refused to compromise his control just to become slightly more likable. It might not even work, it might make him less likable... Yet the line of bottles and cans of fermented goodness knew what held his attention. It was tempting, he had to admit.

"Behave...you hear me?" Sierra hissed softly under her breath. Marle nodded enthusiastically before bounding down from her human's shoulder and over towards the Totodile with the treats. After watching for a minute, Sierra sighed and muttered to the remaining pair, "Keep an eye on her, would you?"
Khalon gave a curt nod, padding after the Pikachu, and Layla rolled her eyes, as if the human were being ridiculous in expecting her to do such a menial task...but she trotted along after Khalon anyway. Sierra, meanwhile, sighed, shaking her head slightly and rested her hand on Celeste's Pokeball at her waist, almost unconsciously. The Pidgeot was too large for close quarters, but even in her Pokeball, she offered the young woman reassurance.
Finally responding to the earlier invitation, Sierra crossed the room to join what seemed to be the hostess of this strange get-together. "Err...hello? I hope you don't find me rude for asking, but...what exactly is all this? A party of some sort?" Yeah, she was a bit out of the loop, that was for sure...but still, never hurt to be polite with your co-workers, even if they might think you an idiot for asking obvious questions.

Once more Acacia pulled herself away from the woman with the flattering dress as soon as her greeting had eased from her lips, the other operative with the wayward electric mouse was approaching; the girl's face was riddled with befuddlement. A question certainly would be asked and indeed one was applied the moment she was close enough to ask the willowy figured grunt.
Acacia held off on extending her hand in greeting as someone of interest entered the room, a firm grin donned her features as a sound repellant against the blush she could feel creeping up her neck; Tambrey Greene always had such an effect on her. Clearing her throat Acacia redirected her attention towards Sierra, the light pinpricks of pink and rose clearly noticeably on her pale visage.
“Not a rude question at all,” politely stated the 'blonde' in retort. “it is a party, or well it was supposed to be a party. I think the number of people here constituent it to be a small get-together at best. Eh, I thought it would be fun to throw a small Saint Patrick's Day bash, out of pocket, for everyone to mingle and relax. I guess no one got the memos, expect maybe girl over there,” a slender alabaster finger with extremely well-polished nails motioned towards a rather young looking minks of a female that was completely decked out for the holiday. “makes me wish that more trainee's showed up, she seems the most enthusiastic out of everyone to be here. Regardless though, I am your hostess, grunt level field medic Acacia Cretchfield. Please make yourself comfortable. There are drinks, snacks, and some food directly over to our right hand-side.”
The blush that had claimed the pale complexioned woman's face had long since subsided though a hint of rose still lingered on the very tips of her ears, extending her fragile looking hand in greeting Acacia offered a friendly expression towards Sierra; even though every fiber of her being wanted to just run up to her friend across the room and hug her affectionately.
She herself wasn't having any fun so far and her stomach was beginning to growl in protest to not being adequately fed.
I really am never doing this sort of thing again, no one is even having fun. I completely fail at everything I do. Go Team Bubbling Ninja.

As Ciara was busy spinning in her ‘dance’ attempt, Saleen found herself approached by the hostess. “Saleen.” she finished the girl’s sentence with her name as she reached out her hand to shake Acacia’s. “Nice to meet you Miss….” began Saleen, not knowing the woman’s name herself. Was it odd to go to a party when you didn’t even know the hostess’ name? It might be but Saleen didn’t mind. She was very polite to other’s, that was just how she was. Whether she liked them or not she wasn’t one to be impolite unless they asked for it. You could tell a lot about a person’s character by their manners, or lack there of. Or at least to Saleen you could.
After Acacia left, Saleen found herself looking around while Ciara enjoyed herself. She noticed a man who seemed to be anti social, a girl who seemed a bit nervous, And a girl who was trying to figure the party out. Not really a ‘yay let’s go party!’ or a ‘let’s get drunk!’ sort of crew it seemed. Saleen didn’t appear to be the only one here that was unsure and testing the grounds. But she did wonder how the party would progress, would it get better or would she wind up leaving early out of sheer boredom?

Tambrey spotted Acacia, but noted she seemed to be involved in conversation already. She found it a momentarily relief; perhaps she could dump the cheap red wine at what was clearly a refreshment table without Ace seeing it- then she could still say she brought something, but wouldn't have to reveal what. Hm. There seemed to be someone else near the table, but still, that was to be expected..
"Excuse me, I just need to um," Tambrey apologized, perhaps unnecessarily, as she stood next to Frost for a moment and reached over the table to place the wine she'd brought. "Sorry... Just, want to get this out of the way quickly. Couldn't afford anything good- kind o' trying to hide it." She grinned sheepishly and double checked she didn't know the man; no, she'd have remembered, she was sure.
Palu wandered straight toward the other pokemon that had seemed to be gathered around a certain little Totodile she knew. The bird ruffled her feathers, a little self-importantly. "Palu. My name is Palu." She introduced herself right away, then dipped her head to the others. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Skiron and all... and it is a pleasure to see you again, of course, dear Ampule." The bird's beak wasn't much made for smiling, but she seemed to be able to manage a pleasant enough, if somewhat haughty looking, expression.
