Colour-wise, just copy the refs. Edit-wise, the only extras that should be added (if at all possible) are his small back spikes going all the way down his back/tail, and possibly some extra fins in places. On the ref, it seems like it's mostly the salmon pink fins that would need adding to the Soq, as the other fins I think are just about right on the lines already. His face should be edited so that he's looking thoughtful, but not smiling. He also has a spiffy beard going on, and a pretty crown. If his head fins could be made bigger like on the ref that would be great. If not it's fine. The only thing that I don't want following from the ref is his icky brown legs. I'd rather you just do his legs in his body colour, with his grey tummy colour on the insides. WIP Needed? One – just to see progress.

Mane: Longish, I’m thinking more mid-length (to the knee) rather than anything to overwhelming. A hint of a wave would be great too if you could manage it.
Tail: If you could extend the ‘hair’ at the base of the tail to be much longer and fluffy (to compliment his hair) that would be awesome!
Hooves/Fetlocks: Ultra fluffy. I dislike the warhorse lines as it makes the soquili’s head look too small, but I’d like to have really fluffy hooves on my boy, please! Hooves are blue though, as per reference.

Hooves/Fetlocks: Hooves are striped light and dark. The light part is like a pinkish tan tone that light horse hooves seem to have. No fetlocks, just the standard look to the legs. Body: A little roughed up, nicks and scars scattered around. Small amounts of blood/dirt is fine. Bruises and scrapes maybe, but not in gruesome detail. Body paint wasn't traditional but some is okay in this case. :] Traditional markings are loved.
Face: Facial expression should be somewhere between neutral and aggressive. Eye color should be moderately light, with an eerie feel. The sclera should be normal, however.
Mane: Hair/mane/tail should be medium to long in length, a bit messy/tousled but not out of control. Potentially streaked and dirty. Some braids are a possibility. Various totems/beading/jewelry/accessories weaved in (see refs for ideas).
Tail: Should match the mane - do whatever you like, uni tail, normal tail matching the mane, etc.
Hooves/Fetlocks: CC
Reference Image(s): All are very loose references, just pick and choose from them if you like, and you're perfectly free to add your own twist. Colors are mainly up to you.
