Somebody recently looked at my journal and told me that it was a gross exploitation of women. I have made my journal for friends only since then. The reason he said this is becuase me journal is filled with pictures of breasts and the accompanying signs that ladies have made for me.
In any case, this got me to thinking. How can things like Strip Clubs, Pornagraphy, pictures of cleavage, and even something as trivial as cleavage guilds here on gaia be an exploitation of women? The women choose to do these things of their own accord. They aren't being forced. How exactly are they being exploited?
In my opinion they are actually being empowered and elevated becuase they have the ability to use their natural assets to their advantage. We guys don't have this option, we can't go walking around with half a testicle hanging out.
Other opinions on this?

I think said person is illiterate and ignorant.
Exploitation is more on the calibre of forcing a woman into prostituition against her free will. Further exploitation would be is drugging her up, causing her to be hooked on some narcotic and thus work in order to get her drugs.
How in the hell did showing breasts off become exploitation!? Especially if it was consenting...
I can't think of the proper adjective/noun at the moment that would be more fitting, but that's mostly due to early morning stupidity 3nodding

That isn't eploitation. Thoe girls did that out of their own will, knowing full well the implications and possible consequences of them posting their cleavage on the 'net.
Oh please. What is that guy, a blithering idiot?! Now I know the reason I couldn't access your journal in order to view the goodness. Geez, some assholes ruin it for everybody. It pisses me off! Argh. now I need to cheer myself up. Off porn-hunting, everyone.

I am unable to send requests however becuase I have over 100 friends.
I have a petition to do away with the friends cap though...

How the hell is it exploitation if the women do it of their own will, and there are plenty of other ways to get gold (if gold is, in fact, the reward they get for it like some such groups I've seen)? In other words, even if they were addicted to gold (and therefore extremely ******** people on every level), they don't have to... Damn it. My new year's resolution was to not try and figure out the logic of idiots. Thanks for making me break it. scream

I think what the person was trying to say is that (s)he doesn't like women being seen as sexual objects. What I mean by that is, I guess, (s)he didn't like the fact that your looking at just any girl's jugs without being commited to them, or something...
However, it certainly isn't exploitation. If it's done on their own accord, I don't see what's wrong. It's not like you had a gun to their heads or something. I've had quite a few guys more than willing to send me pictures of their special parts...sometimes without even me asking for them. There was actually this one guy who was stalking me on aim and he kept trying to send me pictures of his p***s. But that's a different story.
Anyway, people like that ran Howard Stern off the air! I personally thought he was funny. It's not like he forced anyone to do anything; he was just expressing himself truthfully.
