Are these type of things normally purple? I don't have one so I wouldn't know but I've seen clarinets pull a string with a peice of cloth on them through the main peice.

it really doesn't matter, there is a alto sax one that is yellow and white, same design as that one, thought the purple looks better, so it is strange, but it looks cool

I just thought it was kinda cool that it was purple...

When I had my flute in for fixing I got a different one and it had a green and black cleaning stick. =) And it looked just like that which I think is kinda weird...

I like purple! I don't think the color matters, my alto sax ex-friend has an aqua one.

i have a black and white one... it looks pretty cool. It gives you a headache after you stare at it for ten minutes
