Getting into car accidents. I'm pretty sure this is #4. We were riding in the car, and we got to this intersection with bushes around the edge. We were driving through, and we got hit by an SUV. Our jeep flipped and hit the car next to it. Anyways, the car is totaled. I broke a few ribs, the driver got a concussion, and the other passenger broke his arm. We also needed a few stitches, and I was recently told that the driver just got surgery on his hand and arm. We've got some scrapes and bruises and burns, too, but nothing huge. Other then that, we're all doing okay. They patched me up and i'm feeling pretty okay, except I'm banned from riding in my friends cars for a while. The people in the other two cars are fine. :] So that's my update, car-accident wise.

gonk Yikes! I've been in several car accidents, but no one was hurt in any of them (and they were all the fault of the other driver). Why would you be banned from riding in your friends' cars if it wasn't their fault? That just seems silly. Is there going to be legal action taken?
Anyway, I hope everyone heals quickly.

@Pent- yeah, it was pretty lucky.
@Eruravenne- everybody was insured, so all the people who's vehicles were affected by the accident collectively decided not to take legal action. I'm banned because my mom already doesn't like it when i ride in friends cars, so this gives her an excuse to ban me. Of course, she didn't say anything about motorcycles.... biggrin
@Zi, aww, thank you. I'm happy I'm alive too. It was a little terrifying when we were flipping, but then i passed out when we were being transported to the hospital, so i didn't really have time to freak out.
@Na-na- seconded.

Yeata Zi That is the most scary. D: I don't really remember the details of everyone else's crashes (too lazy to look through the database) but yeah, it definitely was terrifying. flipping was most unpleasant.

the question is who got the charge and the ticket? In every one of my accidents, the tickets seem to come my way, because i was younger than the people's who's fault it was, so they automatically say "Oh, it's a kid, give them the ticket." of course i'm not a kid, i'm a young man. the accident was only my fault twice, and the one that wasn't my fault the ticket was thrown out cause they didn't want to have to deal with my insurance company LOL. Man have I got some stories in this department. I think collectivly i've only had 3 or 4 accidents myself....lets see...the time that i turned into that guy, because i didn't see him in my mirror, Flipped my car for a squirrel...bashed my tire into a curb, warped the rim when that happened....hmmm...Oh! and the time this questionable couple crashed into me in an exit. so yeah, four. Three of those involved tickets. The stupidest thing i heard was that I had to be given a ticket because I flipped my car, accidents happen, so why should i be given a ticket if no one else was involved?
