~~[Skoorgl the Ferret]~~
= A Rogue of Hallowmarl =

Stage : Adult
Gender : Male
Nature : Thieving

Tribe/Clan : Hallowmarl
Family :
((Coerce some people to join his little brotherly band as well as an iddy biddy mousey to be his apprentice!))

Naked Appearance :
Skoorgl is a very pale beast, his coat mainly comprised of silvery greys and white, with a few areas of tan brown, much like a blue merle. His fur is a mottled grey, ranging from shiny silver to dull dark flecking grey over most of his body, except for his cheeks and around his paws in bands. His muzzle, a mask over his eyes, his left ear and his chest down to his tail tip are pure snowy white. His eye is a very pale gold; the other was taken by a run in with a very grumpy raptor as a young ferret, and instead of an eye, there is a rather large criss-cross scar of his skin tone, a sort of pale brownish-grey; his nose, his scars and his pawpads are all this colour. His claws are also pale whitish-grey. On the very tip of his tail is a very dark grey dipping, much like the winter coat of a stoat.
Clothing :
Skoorgl looks very much like a rogue in his attire; an eye-patch overs his torn out eye, though much of the scar that crosses over it is still visible around it. He also wears a short blue jacket that has long arms, as well as a fanciful blue cape that is torn and ragged. Around his waist is a darker, navy blue sash, with white tassled ends. This holds his rapier and throwing daggers.

Personality :
Skoorgl is more about appearing evil then actually being mean. He's a rogue and a thief, and takes great pride in his work. He likes being feared, but is actually, once you get past his rough bravado, a bit of a softy. He leads his band of kin on little raids on other Tribes, stealing vittles and tit-bits that they can sell on or barter with for things that they actually need. He always carried his slightly rusted rapier, but he hardly ever uses it. To cause harm to others is not really in his nature. He'd much rather scare them witless then injure his adversary, in order to get what he wants.

History :
Skoorgl and his three brother band were born in Hallowmarl, to a fatherless family. Their father had been some wandering beast that had taken a shine to their mother, and then left her with four very unruly sons to aim to teach. Luckily for her, Skoorgl saw the merit in learning, and pounded his brothers' heads until they, too, listened to the lessons they were taught. This instantly gave him more of a leadership quality to this little hoard of troublemakers, and quickly, he took charge.

As the four brothers entered adulthood, an unlucky run in with a very disgruntled Raptor cost Skoorgl his eye. Since then, he has been running scared of the winged beasts of Stonecrest, and will never trouble birdy residents, despite cat-calls and clucking from his siblings. The four brothers returned to Hallowmarl, to set up their base of operations, and be closer to their dear ol' ma!

~~[Mal the Badger]~~
= A Storytelling Adventurer of Fleuve =

Stage : Adult
Gender : Male
Nature : Imaginative

Tribe/Clan : Fleuve
Family :
A lone badger, old in years, and without mother, father or siblings; neither does he have a mate nor dibbuns of his own.

Naked Appearance :
Mal is a typical european badger, tall and broad, with stocky arms and legs, with immeasurable strength. His back and neck are a mantle of silvery grey, flecked in white and black; his legs, belly and tail are black, his claws and showing skin (nose, inner ears and pawpads) also of a dark hue. His head is white, but for two stripes that encircle his muzzle and rise up over his eyes, dissipating from black at the nose into white in his longer-then-usual mane, which is often braided into multiple plaits. His beard is also quite long, with a few small braids found within, usually the work of dibbuns in his care. His eyes, however, are the most deep, crystalline blue, and hold a spark and love of life that is rarely seen in such beasts. He is not a war-faring beast, more loving to weave tales and earn friendship, then respect and battle-scars.
Clothing :
Mal wears little by way of clothing. Half-moon spectacles sit upon his long nose, and a few braids littered with ribbons and beads adorn his beard and mane. Around his ankles and wrists are silver-coloured braces, and around his shoulders, a long cloak of deepest green. Around his neck is a pendant that used to belong to his mother, a silver filigree pendant with an jade-stone at its center, speckled like the canopy of the forest.

Personality :
Mal is a pretty quiet, reserved Badger, calm and loving with dibbuns, and is often seen as a teacher or career for dibbuns that either have lost their family, or need some manners taught to them! His stories are unlimited, and he likes nothing more then to sit by the flowing river and weave his tales of Mossflower and Stonecrest. He is not, however, a war-faring beast, and it is said that Mal has never possessed the ability to link into the bloodrage Badgers are supposed to be renowned for.

History :
Mal's history is barely known, and when asked for stories of his own life, will create some imaginative tale of how he came from far seas to Stonecrest to spread his tales. The truth, however, is closer to the fact he was born somewhere within Mossflower, to a future Badgerlord and Badgermum, only to be abandoned early in life when it was realised he would never be able to be of use to the Badgerlord name, He has, since, travelled to seek a place that would accept his peaceful nature, and a base of operations for adventures to be able to use in his future tales.

Apart from weaving the spell of words, Mal is a rigorous explorer, and loves to travel afield, and if the offer is ever posed to him, he is always willing to go along for a trip! On one of his journeys as a young Badger, he came across Jukka the Otter. They became instant friends, after Jukka saved the life, or so he elaborates in the story, of Mal. Mal found himself, on one stroll about Mossflower and Stonecrest, surrounded by river-rats that were aiming to steal his gear. The badger, being kind of heart and unable to defend himself well, was slowly drawing close to the river's edge as the rats threatened him, until, all of a sudden, a streak of brown came shooting to his aid. Jukka beat off the rats, leaving a very impressed and indebted Mal to weave tales of his new friend to all who would listen.

~~[The Bone Collector, the Fox]~~
= A Warmonger of Fangroot =

Stage : Adult
Gender : Male
Nature : Cannibalistic

Tribe/Clan : Fangroot
Family :
His band of cannibals are his only family.

Naked Appearance :
The Bone Collector is a pure white fox that takes to painting himself with plant and bug dyes. His paws, tail tip and cheeks are pasted deeply in deep red dye-paint, like fresh, copious amounts of blood. Also in this colour are tribal markings on his arms and legs, as well as on the skull that adores his face. He has black to dark grey dye-paint that he has worked into his mantle, a combination of his own small mane and also fur from the badger he slew that he has interwoven with his own fur, to make an almost 'extension' type look to his mane. He is tall and slender, with deep, black, bottomless eyes. His teeth and mouth are always tinged dark with the blood he drinks and raw flesh he eats. He is, suffice to say, not a nice beast to be around.
Clothing :
The Bone Collector does everything in his power to look as intimidating as his reputation declares him to be. His head is covered in the skull of a Badger he slew as a youth, its black fur sheared from the carcass and interwoven into his own mane, with beads, bone and spiderwebs also in included in the mass of fur. Around his shoulders, a deep red cape with ragged and tattered ends is also worn, and bone bracers adorn his forearms, traced equally as his skull with tribal markings that have been tinted with the same dye-paints as his body has.. The Bone Collector and his troop do not rely on weaponry, instead, preferring their teeth and claws, and so, these are often all filed to sharp points for greater damage. In his ears are many bone-piercings; rings and spikes and the like.

Personality :
The Bone Collector is evil. There is really no other way to explain him. He believes he is Death incarnate, sent to the world to feed the spirit of a malicious deity that speaks with him through the planes, guiding his paw. By killing his foes and making his comrades wear the skulls of their first 'meal', he believes they are empowering this spirit, who will, in return, guide them all to new bodies when they die, in gratitude to the service they carried out to Him. The spirit will grant them their worldly knowledge, and thus, the new versions of the creature can return, and carry out their killing spree anew. The Bone Collector, for sure, is completely insane.

History :
The first knowledge of the Bone Collector's existance is hard to pin-point. He seems to some to have existed forever, in some form or another; plague, disease, war, and now, in the body of a white fox that seeks revenge for some unknown misdemeanour done unto him. He has, it seems, no particular targets, no particular aims to his killings throughout his time as the Bone Collector, he has just always been a ruthless murderer, taking pity on neither the young, the old, or the infirm. All are fair game, and all are edible!

The beginnings of the cannibalistic factor in Fangroot, however, is easier to trace. Its beginnings are recent, within the last few seasons at any rate, and their numbers are thus still pretty low. The individuals that sought the Bone Collector seemed to find something that accepted them, allowed them to be devious and malicious, and accepted their cannibalistic mannerisms. All were accepted, regardless of status and race; so long as they could fight, kill and eat their foe, they were accepted.

~~[Boa'tata, the Corn Snake]~~
= A Protector of Breezemoore =

Stage : Adult
Gender : Male
Nature : Nobel

Tribe/Clan : Breezemoore
Family :
There is no family for Boa'tata here.

Naked Appearance :
Boa'tata is a Bloodred morph of the common Corn Snake. He is vividly red, with a pure white belly, with some darker red saddles that reveal the Carolina/Wild, original form of his species. Around his snout, the greying of juvenile scales can still be seen a little, and above his eyebrows is a darker 'V' marking, that he has had since infant-hood.
Clothing :
Being a snake, wearing articles of clothing is, to say the least, pretty near impossible.

Personality :
Boa'tata is not altogether what one would call 'evil'. Sure, he needs to eat mice and rats and other small rodents to survive, but he sometimes finds this hard to do, due to his pledge to protect those weaker then himself. He only ever eats the 'wrong-doer', and will do his utmost to ensure he is not eating a potential friend when hunting! He is a fierce warrior, and has powerful jaws and coils, but deep down, he's a pretty friendly chap, if a little misunderstood.

History :
Boa'tata was once a snake owned by man.

It is something he will not really talk about, but when pressured, his story is one of being a prized 'pet', a breeding success for his one-time human owner. Corn Snakes are very versatile, and their breeding potential in terms of their colour are pretty unrivalled in the reptile world. Boa'tata was the first of his owner's 'project successes', the first Bloodred morph to be produced by this particular human. Boa'tata did not like being pampered, handled and shown off. On one particular day, when his owner was busy cleaning his vivarium, Boa'tata made good his escape, and disappeared from his holding tub, and out into a crawl space in the wall.

For days, he travelled from the suburb into the wild, finding himself close to the highway that carves up the boarder of Stonecrest and Mossflower. He crossed the toad in the dead of night, almost getting run down by the speeding cars. Managing to find his way into Breezemoore, the unusual reptile settled down, quite liking the feel of being 'free'. His unnatural colours were a problem at first, and his survival skills greatly reduced at first, but eventually, he got the skills necessary to lie in wait for potential prey, and strike out at the perfect time, to constrict the life from his prey, and eat well. He targeted the evil and the wrong-doer, and became judge, jury and executioner to those he felt deserved their fate.
