Both to save up space and to make sure that their publication goes off without a hitch, the Captain has merged his office with that of the division’s editing room killing two birds with one stone, as he often states it. The room is rather wide, and is occupied by several tables and chairs that line the corners and walls of the room, with an open space in the middle.

Along one of the walls is the captain’s desk, and behind that is a rather large monitor connected to several fairly outdated machines. The monitor allows the captain to monitor the division’s progress even in the Human World, as there is a similar, though miniaturized version that he stores in his room. This is advantageous for him, but rather disadvantageous for his staff.

Due to the invasion the office has suffered some minor damage, though most of it has already been repaired. The roof has several patchworks of wood across its inner surface. Some parts of the wall are slightly cracked and a few of the desks are noticeably damaged, some more so than others. However, the captain does not tolerate excuses that blame the state of their equipment as he believes they can endure it for a bit longer until they are properly fixed.

Hibiki Kirisho
- Squad Nine Captain -

================================================

User ImageThe gods trembled
The demons flocked

With the war finally over, Hibiki went straight back to work the moment he was released from the hospital, or rather the 4th Squad’s barracks. Like most, if not all of them, he had sustained grievous injuries across his entire body. Several wounds and bruises were scarred across his entire body, and he had lost quite a bit of blood. Most notable is the severe limb damage he had received, his broken kneecap was in a horrendous state when he was finally given treatment as it had been exposed for far too long and was in danger of infection, fortunately, it was restored with a bit of metal plating and a warning not to put too much strain on it for a while. The same went for his other leg, which had taken the full front of Zenos’ immensely powerful underground Cero, luckily the damage, though severe, was only on the flesh, and it only took bandages and minimal drug use to restore the limb to working condition. Last, but definitely not the least, was his arm, it had virtually been split into two, which would come as no surprise as he used it to literally catch Zenos’ thrust, catching the Sephira’s attack in between his forearm’s bones. The extent of the damage had an effect on the arm’s nervous system, and though Hibiki had underwent rehabilitation, it was still far from being in perfect condition.

But that wasn’t about stop him anytime soon ”Oi! Put some back into it! That ain’t gonna move with you pushing it like some damn baby! You! Nail those boards properly for goodness sake or I’ll take that hammer and knock you on the head. And for the last time, pile the rebar so we can use it later. I’m not gonna spend a single dime just because you blockheads don’t know how to recycle.” yelled Hibiki as he hammered away at a block of concrete, holding it in place by using the steel rod jutting out of its broken end as he chipped away in hopes of extracting the steel bar inside it. The entire squad barracks was in dire need of repairs, but Hibiki wanted to start work on the editing room first, for rather obvious reasons as he didn’t want them to get delayed any further than they already had been. The sight of the captain working vigorously despite the fact that his arm and legs were covered in bandages should’ve been an inspiring one, though because of his rather strict and ill-tempered attitude, his staff members weren’t exactly moved by this, as they had grown accustomed to the period of rest and relaxation during the war.

”Captain, we’ve been at it for five hours. Can we take it a break?” inquired an exhausted staff member, as his peers nodded on, pleading with Hibiki as well. Striking the shinigami with a humorous, though rather painful, vertical chop to the head Hibiki gritted his teeth as he pointed at them ”Shut it. You lily livered cowards high-tailed it the moment the invasion started, didn’t ya? I can accept that, seeing as how it would be a waste if y’all died. But you pansies didn’t do anything afterwards either! So to compensate for that, you’re gonna be working non-stop until the editing room is in working condition.” reprimanded Hibiki, much to their dismay. But they very well couldn’t revolt as their captain had a good point, so they simply carried on with a down-trodden look of defeat. Wiping the sweat from his brow, Hibiki reached out to grab his cup of coffee, bringing it to his mouth as he took a sip of it. Feeling the caffeine slowly invigorate him, Hibiki returned it to where he had placed it, but no sooner had the rim of the cup moved away from his mouth, his damaged arm twitched, most likely as a result of Hibiki using it for strenuous activity, despite the clear warning he was given. Because of this, his fingers jolted and the cup was released from his grasp, causing it to fall straight towards his abdomen where the steaming-hot liquid spilled on to his stomach as well as his private area.

Biting his lip, Hibiki was sure that the pain he was experiencing was a thousand times worse than having his stomach blown away by Zenos, which, ironically, was the only major damage he had fully recovered from ”******* ****!” Hibiki yelled, no longer being able to bare it. Spinning around, he cursed aloud as he took a rag and hurriedly began wiping off the coffee, before it could stain, or worse, do further damage. Running to the improvised bathroom they had set up, Hibiki attended to his condition, all the while his staff members couldn’t help but chuckle at their captain’s unfortunate accident, eventually the chuckles turned into full-blown laughter much to Hibiki’s chagrin ”Get back to work dammmit!”

The winds were unleashed

Suffice it to say, after stealing a great deal of computers from the residents of the Seireitei, she was ready to move on to bigger and better things. And what bigger thing to take for herself than the printing press of the 9th Division? Instead of manifesting herself inside it or anything with a screen, she chose to enter the PA system of the 9th Division, then set it to broadcast and changed her voice electronically to match Hibiki's, and in his voice, broadcast a message into the printing room.

"Will all 9th Division members please come to the barracks for a moment, thank you."

With this, she waited, floating around in cyberspace, flicking through television and computer screens as she watched them filter out of the room until it was empty and all was quiet. Once this was so, she put the security camera on a constant loop so that it would take what it recorded for a few seconds and continue to transmit that to the main security hub, even while other things were occurring. Moments later, several members of the 12th Division, though they did not look it, walked in carrying pieces of equipment that they had smuggled in. "That's it, put it right there, quickly please." She said from Hibiki's computer, directing her words at the member closest to her who was being slow. The equipment had been pulled from the untouched, underground warehouse that was difficult to find, and it was for this reason that it was not blown up by her some time ago. Once the parts were arranged in a circle around the printing press, four of them quickly scuffled around it to form a square using the four cardinal directions as corners, then touched the machinery to fill it with their energy. All at once, a complex diagram flashed across the floor as the altered Senkaimon functioning similarly to Kūkanten'i warped the printing press and the four attending Shinigami to the lowest level of the warehouse. Seconds later, when one of the members got a message from one of the four indicating all had been successful, he nodded to Tsukiko's inhabited computer and then she gave the order to leave. Less than ten minutes from whence they had started, they were all gone; Tsukiko having reverted the cameras to normal and wiped the computer of any trace of her as well.
