Rep. Louie Gohmert Drafting Bill To Let Congress Carry Guns In U.S. Capitol & D.C.I for one think this is a good idea. The arguments these politicians get into are already very heated. Think of how magnificent and bloody it'll get when they're carrying guns into these debates, claiming them to be for protection from criminals (who will no doubt follow the pattern of escalation anyway). Eventually one of them will unload on a member of the opposing party and a Matrix-y, Pay-Per-View worthy shoot-out will occur between liberals and conservatives. It'll be a bloodbath that will result in less politicians in Capitol Hill and therefore result in more progress. It's a brilliant ******** idea and I'm willing to bet that if this get's passed and when this then inevitable shoot-out occurs, Louie will be the one firing the first shot.

This thread reeks of bias and dildos.
Let them carry guns, sure, but don't make it sound like the first person to disagree with them is getting a cap in the a**. rolleyes

Um yeah no. The solution to guns is never more guns. If the government is worried that people are pissed off enough at them to start shooting them up, maybe the government should stop pissing people off. A real democracy doesn't maintain order through fear.
Also, doesn't Capitol Hill like, already have security?

I'm just making a prediction. xd Yeah, it does make me sound biased towards politicians and it's ridiculously over-the-top, downright ludicrous, and should somewhat be taken with a grain of salt. I'm still placing some bets on it. It wouldn't put it fully past these people...especially Republicans.

That's no better than the stereotype that every Texan has a gun. Maybe we do, so? It doesn't mean we're going to shoot someone who steps on our doorstep just because we can.

I know not everyone in Texas is a trigger-happy cowboy and I know not all politicians are disagreeable douchebags. Nobody cares. It's obvious that not all people follow a stereotype and I assume all you people would know I know this. I'm not going to be politically correct on this one just for you.
