NEW ZODIAC SIGN CHART
Capricorn January 20 to February 16
Aquarius February 16 to March 11
Pisces March 11 to April 18
Aries April 18 to May 13
Taurus May 13 to June 21
Gemini June 21 to July 20
Cancer July 20 to August 10
Leo August 10 to September 16
Virgo September 16 to October 30
Libra October 30 to November 23
Scorpio November 23 to November 29
Ophiuchus November 29 to December 17
Sagittarius December 17 to January 20 Alright let me explain a few things. Let's start at the beginning of the formation of our solar system. Somehow (there are many varying theories as to way) our wonderful planet Earth was blessed with having a moon that is 1/4 it's size. This is unique to our Earth and life as we know it cannot exist without it. However, it's much more then just a pretty accessory. The Moon helps to stabilize Earth's rotation, keeping it somewhat upright. If one looks at our neighboring planet Mars, it's rotation is wild, sometimes almost as extreme as 90 degrees. Astronomers suggest that Earth's rotation shifting 1 degree is what caused the Sahara Desert to change from a luscious rain forest to a giant lump of loose dirt. The reason why Earth's rotation degrees change is because our Moon is slowly moving away from us. As the moon moves away the Earth tilts more. A side effect of this is that the way we see our nightly heavens changes, stars shifting when they show up and when they move and when they leave. It all boils down to timing and how we are effected by that. Basically, these signs aren't "new" we've been aware of these changes for a very long time, it's just that someone decided to alert the internet about this. In addition, there's a new, 13th sign by the name of Ophiuchus. The reason why this happens is as the Moon moves further away from the Earth, the Earth days also become longer, which means eventually we'll be seeing February 30th. For me personally I was an Aquarius and now I'm a Capricorn! eek I'll be adding more information as I find out about things. For now "Ophiuchus" is so new that there's not much information. Please be patient! ^-^ This chart is the correct Stars that we are born under. Horoscopes are based on this concept, so instead of freaking out about it embrace it. heart

I went from being a Libra to a Virgo. I like being a Libra, it's just more fun being balanced.

I went from Sagittarius to either Ophiuchus or Scorpio. I really do not know how to tell which I am, especially since the new sign doesn't have any list of personality traits.
BUT I DON'T WANNA BE SAILOR OPHIUCHUS!! scream

No, horoscopes/zodiacs aren't based off of months they're based off of constellations. They move independently from Earth's time. heart
