I'm 13 years old.

This is my third year here at Hogwarts.

The house I'm in is Slytherin.

Personality Stella is clever, witty, and bookish, but also quite vain and snobbish. She is very intelligent and enjoys learning new things about the world, which is why she is surrounded with books at all times. And she knows that she is smart; she is very confident about her abilities and a bit of a know-it-all, and likes to get in heated debates with people. She doesn't feel like she needs to prove her intelligence to people, but enjoys doing so anyway. Despite her bookish nature, Stella is far from shy. She is extremely extroverted and skilled at making friends, and has interests outside of academics - such as fashion and pop culture. She can also be quite cutting toward people who she views as stupid or boring, and earned a reputation at her Muggle school as something of a "mean girl" or bully. Lastly, Stella is very good at music, playing the clarinet since she was 8. She is a very slow runner, making her terrible at most Muggle sports, but she is decent at Quidditch (though probably not enough to make it onto her house team unless they really need somebody). As a Hogwarts student, she plans to join the Gobstones and Wizard's Chess teams and hopes to be a Prefect and Head Girl eventually. In terms of her adult life, Stella hopes to one day work either at the Daily Prophet or in the Ministry in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and greatly admires Hermione Granger.

Background Stella was born and raised in London. She is a half-blood: Her father, Neville Forsyth, is a Muggle from Edinburgh, who graduated from St. Andrews and Cambridge and is now a professor of musicology at King's College. Her mother, Benedetta Zaltieri-Forsyth, is an Italian-born witch from an old Venician pureblood family, who writes as a foreign affairs correspondent for the Daily Prophet. Stella has a fraternal twin sister, Dorabella; and a younger brother, Marcello, who is 10. Their household is a mix of magical and Muggle culture, and all the children have magical abilities. While they live in a Muggle neighborhood and attended Muggle schools prior to coming to Hogwarts, Benedetta uses magic at home, and the children have accompanied their parents on excursions to Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and other wizarding villages as well as Quidditch matches (they support Puddlemere United). Stella's best friend is her twin sister, despite their differences in personality; Dora is not as academically-inclined, nor as chatty, but is much better at sports, and is as confident and vain about her athleticism as her twin is about her smarts. Marcello is most interested in getting in trouble and keeping away from his two big sisters. Because of the closeness between the two sisters, their parents have decided to have them attend different schools of magic in order to gain some independence; Dora is to attend her mother's alma mater, La Scuola Magica de Venizia, and Stella is to attend Hogwarts. Stella has no idea what to expect with neither of her parents having attended the school, besides what she has read in books.

Oh yes, there's something else I need to tell you! As Stella comes from a long line of Animagi on her mother's side, I may have her apply to become one in her fourth or fifth year, or whenever there are openings. Her mother doesn't feel she is ready to learn it until she is quite advanced in her magical abilities, so this won't be an issue for a while. I'm just putting it out there.

Also, Stella is now the Keeper for the Slytherin Quidditch team, using a Cleansweep 11 broom.

Upon the twins' tenth birthday, Benedetta Zaltieri-Forsyth decided to buy her two daughters their own owls, even though she knew they would not need them for another year. Stella received a female Great Horned owl by the name of Fiordiligi, and Dora received a male screech owl by the name of Ferrando. Fiordiligi is a very particular owl; she refuses to live in the Slytherin common room where Stella would like to have her, as being underground puts her in a bad mood. Fiordiligi lives in the Hogwarts Owlery, which she likes because she is a very social owl. Occasionally, when Stella has to deliver large packages, Ligi (as she calls her) refuses to leave with them, only doing so with coaxing from Stella. Regardless, she is very devoted to Stella.

Update: As a result of her acceptance on to the Slytherin Quidditch Team as a Keeper, Stella is now the proud owner of a Cleansweep 11!
