Personality: Able is shy and soft-spoken, with little working knowledge regarding personal space, but a friendly, easily-excitable, and almost childish cat to those he's comfortable with. He grew up in a home that was teeming with other slaves and was unable to garner much attention towards himself. This has made him a people-pleaser, one who is willing to do anything to gain affection, no matter how small. He longs to be noticed, but his fear towards other often dissuades him from seeking it, and this affects his actions, too. Always afraid of messing up, he ends up doing just that and this, coupled with the ease with which he was disregarded as a kitten, has given him poor self-esteem and he is quick to be overly-critical towards himself. Having spent a majority of his childhood in a chaotic, unruly household with little to no supervision and numerous slaves, he remembers little of his past and has no idea what his parents or siblings are like. As a result, he has grown to regard his new master as the parental figure he never had and strives assist Ottah to the best of his abilities.

Able was born in the busy streets of Zanzibar, to a poor hound desperate for money. Unfortunately, the hound was too short-tempered and impatient to start a good business, and he lacked the ability to teach his slaves what they needed to be good workers. As a result, most became nothing more than breeders whose offspring were sold constantly and cheaply.
Able was one such offspring. He was nothing special and held no outstanding traits that made him stand out in any way. He was just one of the many poorly raised kittens in the hound's household and was seen as nothing more than another mouth to feed. As soon as he was old enough, he was shipped off to school, and that was that.
The short time he spent with Mr. Hyde are days Able would rather not remember, and he is grateful towards his new master for buying him so soon.
