As most of you know I'm 21 weeks along in the pregnancy but I contracted a really, really bad cold. >.< I'm really worried right now because Cedric *the baby* isn't kicking as much as he did before I got sick and I don't know how colds effect unborn babies. When I cough I sound horrid and my husband thinks I'm either dying or I'm choking. So I need help so I can stop freaking out *I been under a lot of stress lately cuz of my mother*

1) Can colds effect unborn children?
2) Please give me ways to get rid of this damn cold! I had it for a week and its cutting in to my sleeping at night. DX
3) Should I even be worried?

I told myself that if I'm still coughing after Christmas then I'm going to the doctor or the ER. I have to be really careful because every cold I get turns to bronchitis and I really cant afford to get it. If I do I will be home bound for 3 months because I would be coughing all the time and where I work is around food. >.<

Im going to the ER Monday if Im still coughing. My pregnancy book said if I have it more then 12 days I need to see a doctor. -.- I had it for 14 days.

I been drinking like a gallon of OJ every two days since I had it. Colds are brutal on me since I have allergies, asthma, and a very weak immune system. >.< Like when I get the 24 hour flu I have it for 5 days or more. D= When I first got this I just thought it was my allergies since they act up when it turns really cold. ._. It turned out to be this. Im taking Tylenol Sinus, which is on the safe list. But it makes it worst at night.
