If I remember correctly, there was a similar shitstorm when a Chinese actress played in Memoirs of a Geisha a few years back. Casting is serious business.

Geishas are Japanese Reg. Also that is a little different than this. The Chinese and Japanese hate each other as a cultural and national thing. This is just about race.
