Rather than the normal alarm, a simple bell was rung to gather up the guild. A notice had been sent out to every team, giving them a specific time to meet up. The second journal piece had been located, and it was time to go and retrieve it.

MercutioWaiting in the hall for all of the guild members was none other than the brother-in-law of the Guild of Rebirth's Guild Master, Mercutio. His arms were crossed and his dark glasses were covering his eyes. He would be taking charge of this mission at the request of Lucinda and Vito. Although naive when it came to socializing, he was one hell of a leader.

PuerPuer simply walked in the hall, maintaining his usual persona of "not talking a lot" and "being slightly awkward" combined with a dash of "what's going on anyways". It was what he usually (always) did in places like this, especially when he wasn't with anyone else. The rest of his team, for one reason or another, had been occupied. Lia, William and Laura were with Albus. Sam and ASAR were flat out unwilling, especially after the last event had them trudging through snow... And who knew what Tolin and Serrin were doing. Tolin was... busy, now. Constantly. Even more so than before. And with his evolution Serrin... changed a lot. He was a little difficult to talk to now. So, the Rhyhorn came on his own. PlutoPluto stepped into the hallway, pausing for a moment as he entered to inspect the crowd and catch his breath. Mercutio was at the front of the crowd, the clear "leader" of the moment. Pluto wasn't... terribly fond of that fact. Lucy, at the least, should be there. But with Solaris busy shedding incompetence and himself sick, if Lucy was incapable of venturing off for whatever reason it would fall to whoever was appointed by those best in the know. Mercutio wouldn't have been his first choice, but hopefully his relationship with Alfred had rubbed a bit of tact and strategy onto him. The breath returning to his winded body, he moved up towards Mercutio and sat down near him. His voice was gruff, and very clearly tired as if his work as guildmaster-replacement had been extremely taxing as of late. " I won't be coming." He said this matter-of-factly, as if there was no chance for it to change. " But you're not moving in without a plan. Explain the situation to me as thoroughly as possible for now." Although the old man still received his reports, his tired mind had difficult recalling each detail. A refresher would be for the best.

KaiyouA large Marshtomp was the next to enter the room, standing on his hind feet, and, at the shoulder, three feet tall from the top of his head, to the bottoms of his feet. The shiny Marshtomp had gone through a lot of growing in the past weeks, and now he felt that he'd finally finished growing. The Water-type shook the water droplets from his skin with a swift shake of the wrists, and squeezed in through the crowd to reach the center of the gathered group. He hoped he wasn't late, but his training session had worn on longer than usual. In any case, the moment he'd gotten back, Mandarin had asked him to answer the call of the guild for their team, muttering something about protecting the children. Normally he wasn't much for kids, but if it was a matter of protecting the twins and Zori's egg, well, he didn't exactly need persuasion. Kai tilting his head, looking over the heads of a few shorter guild members to see Pluto and Mercutio. The elderly Leafeon looked irritated, as usual, and was presumably questioning the hell out of the younger, more brutal Gallade. That was one warrior he didn't want to tangle with. Hopefully his leadership skills would live up to his reputation, or they'd be in a lot of trouble.

Acer && CrescendoCrown and Chronicler were looking over the shop, Morana and Incultyr were camped out at the edge of the city waiting for Morana's dad to return from his mission, leaving the two young members of Team Polaris. Neither of them could read, but they got another helpful guildmember to explain the note, so they knew enough to come down to the Main hall at the appointed time. Both were kind of nervous, bad stuff usually happens when it involves Nico. Atra && ShermanAtra was once again forced to answer by Lilium. He came into the room on Sherman's back, who slowly walked into the hall on all four legs, his wings tucked tightly against his side and his tail swaying back and forth behind him. Atra sat on his back, almost the same size as the tiny Salamence. CecilCecil's been staying at the guild, and so as usual he showed up for the alarm! Now the Role-player will finish dinner and come back.

Kyanto, Shimmer, and Kaze Team Nightfall
The three made their way to the main hall and looked around. Kaze, who would usually say something witty, kept quiet as he saw all the Pokemon in the area. Kyanto simply sat there, his eyes closed as he began a form of meditating.
"Hi, what's going on?" Shimmer asked all of the members who were around, hopefully trying to find an answer to why the normal bell wasn't ringing this time. "Is there a contest or something?"

MercutioMercutio brought a hand to his mouth and cleared his throat as Pluto spoke to him. "Yes, I do have a plan. Unlike every other time we've had a large guild mission, we actually know what we're up against this time," He explained. "We found the journal piece on an island a few miles from the nearest coast. It's within a large volcano. The lava there is too hot to sustain most Pokemon, even fire types. Even Slugma would find the place uncomfortable. Only one Pokemon resides there, but Nico has managed to recruit it for his cause." He closed his eyes and sighed. "We have to kill it, there's not many other options. It ate the journal piece. Also, we think Nico may have bitten it, putting it under his control completely. It doesn't have the meditation skills that Leon has, so it can't control the virus."
The Gallade then turned to the guild members that had arrived. "Alright everybody! Our transportation will be arriving shortly! Stay together and don't let anybody out of your sight! Any Pokemon who are weak to Fire are strongly recommended not to come along, but if you insist, you may!"

PuerPuer listened intently to the declaration from Mercutio and Pluto. Then he left with the rest of the group! PlutoIn a hot environment like that? It would've taken a miracle for him to join the group before, but it was definitely out of the question now. Not to mention... boats. Ugh. He'd probably end up spilling his guts all over the deck. If he didn't die on the way, he'd be dead shortly after they arrived. He gave a nod to Mercutio before turning to the group and speaking clearly, before the clamour of movement could take over. " Everyone. Remember to be careful. The heat may dull your minds and ravage your bodies. If you begin to feel sick or tired, leave immediately. If you fall unconscious, your allies may not have the strength to carry you out." They were wise words from a wise man. If any individual was affected to the point of passing out, chances are their allies would be as well. He looked back at Mercutio for just a moment before speaking a few last words and leaving. " Bring them back alive." The unsteady gait of a sick, tired old man carried him outside to where Nova waited.

KaiyouKai grimaced, disapproving of the idea. If Slugma couldn't survive in those temperatures, he did not want to meet the beast that could. It would be like fighting the surface of the Sun. His large, thick-skinned feet padded forward through the crowd, carefully squeezing his way through toward Mercutio. He was both curious and suspicious. Hopefully, the Gallade's conversations along the way would enlighten him as to what was really going on, and give him more information about the opponent they'd be facing. Was there a strategy they'd be using to lure the beast out of the volcano? They certainly couldn't go inside; they'd be broiled alive. What were the beasts main methods of attack? Ranged? Close combat? How large was it? What were it's strengths, and what were it's weaknesses? You never went into battle without previous knowledge of your opponent, if you could help it. It would give you the edge you needed to come out on top. He nodded slightly to Pluto as the elderly Leafeon left. His words were pretty wise, but he didn't feel entirely soothed by his words. If they were going to be dealing with high levels of heat, then they might indeed be going inside the volcano; a dangerous tactic at best. It was either that, or he'd have to return to the idea that the beast they'd be fighting was a fiery demon of hell. What a shame that the idea was entirely likely.

Acer && CrescendoAcer took a look at Crescendo, and both were thinking the same thing. They should stay behind then. Acer was...a plant, and Cress's skin would quickly dry in the hot air of a volcano. In fact, if a Pokemon made of molten rock is uncomfortable there, then who here in the guild can actually go there unharmed? Nooo, they're staying here. Atra && ShermanAtra was unphazed. He has already gone into a Volcano once, even before he was a Flareon. True, it had not been a pleasant experience, but it was relatively comfortable once he evolved. Now, as a Flareon, there's not really any places that's too hot for him. He's also going to assume the comment about the slugma is an exaggeration, or otherwise Mercutio would be leading everyone into a deathtrap. Sherman supposes he'll probably be fine? CecilCecil is going! Like he's going to chicken out, pfft.

CelsusqwertyImitiqwertyOliverasdfChuckTeam Cupric arrived to the main hall rather late; there were some delays involving Celsus and fragile objects. Anyway, they heard Mercutio speaking as they came in. Oliver looked at Celsus. Their only Fire-type was Chuck. No one in Team Cupric would survive long in the heat. They'd rely on Celsus to keep them in the air.

Kyanto, Shimmer, and Kaze Team Nightfall
All three members of Nightfall heard the announcement that the Gallade let slip from his lips. Shimmer just squealed with delight, being the advantage against Fire-types. Kyan and Kaze weren't so crazy about it, though, and whispered amongst each other.

Era & Sereni Era arrived on the scene just in time to catch Mercutio and Pluto's message, Sereni following slightly nervously behind her. They had waited for a few minutes after the bell had rung to see if Ethfael would return, but Era had finally decided they would just have to go on their own. "Era," Sereni whispered to her, "What's happening?"
Era turned to the Lanturn and smiled, happy to enlighten her new teammate. "Every once in a while an alarm bell will ring and summon all the members of the guild together. Mostly it just involves following instructions and fighting something or another, but it's our job to come if we ever hear it." Noting the alarmed look on Sereni's face, Era tried to cheer her up, "Don't worry, I'm sure we'll be fine." Truthfully though, Era was having doubts herself. It made her nervous to go out on a mission like this without Ethfael by her side, but she would just have to be strong without him. "It will be fine," she repeated, both for herself and for Sereni. "Together as a guild, we can pull through. I believe it."

PuerPuer stared at the circle of light. Why did so many things involve teleportation and glowing circles of light? Why? Was there some kind of general dislike for land travel? Couldn't they just walk there, like they always had? Needless to say, the Rhyhorn was not the fondest of "psychic mumbo-jumbo." He recognized it as real and, indeed, very powerful. However, that did little to dispel his dislike of things like instantaneous transport. It was a fine method for others to travel, but he liked to keep his feet on the ground. Regardless, he stepped into the circle.
