AHOY THERE AND WELCOME ABOARD THE AMITY TRAIN. WHO KNOWS WHERE WE ARE HEADED TO, but I'm sure the denizens there are fun and full of holiday cheer~ HOORAY! Oh wait, but first, while we are in the cabin travelling to, as it is quite a long train ride it is good to lay some ground rules.THE RULES- This is an OPEN RP EVENT FOR ALL STUDENTS. PLEASE MAKE SURE you are in your correctly assigned cabin - STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TRAVEL BETWEEN CABINS - All students are wearing the school pin at all times. The pin will forcefully keep them in an animated, sizeable form (ie what their cert picture looks like) - Natural abilities, unless you have cleared it with either Lizbot, Marushii, or Chibizoo are not able to work at this time. This means ghosts CANNOT phase through cabins, fire demons CANNOT set the whole place on fire, etc etc. The only exception to this rule is if your student's natural ability is literally what is keeping them "alive" or "animated". - EACH TRAIN CABIN IS AN OPEN RP, similar to the classrooms, or the student council open rp! Anyone in the cabin is free to post, interact with others, and also participate in mini games for prizes that will be held in their cabins from time to time - After an (OOC) time of ONE WEEK, the train will come to a stop at their destination! This is where the second part of the event, with the brunt of the prizes, so stay tuned!

Kasumi paced the length of the cabin, checklist in hand. She had a roster, a serpent pen, more candy than she knew what to do with, and everything seemed to be in its rightful place. She took another look at the cabin as a whole and told herself she would be just fine. She'd never had a position of authority quite like this before, and she hoped she did the best she could for the sake of the students riding with them. She'd stuffed away the prizes so no nosy students would find them and brushed off another one of the seats. No crumbs! It had been a while since she was on a train (and was nervous due to a previous incident), but Miss Professor Red promised this would be a relatively safe train ride.
That is, until Kasumi realized she was stuck with one Nukpana, Skinwalker extraordinaire. The ghost glowered as she returned to her work, brushing away the skittering eyeballs off of tables only she could see. "Just because Miss Shehk is in this car," she began, leveling a glare at a spot on the wall in front of her, "doesn't mean you can disappear for face-sucking sessions. We're Student Council - we have a job to do." Checklist in hand, she marked another item and turned around.
"And also, no noogies, wedgies, snot-throwing or any tomfoolery of the sort." There, authority used! ....right?

"Yeah yeah, whatever you say Coocoo for Cocoapuffs. No having fun, got it," Nuk replied in a bored tone, resting an arm on Kasumi's shoulder. At least a few students were already seated, (probably those goody-goodies who couldn't wait to 'learn' or something like that,) although he had no way of knowing how many of their actual total were already here. That was for Kasumi to know -- she DID have the checklist, after all. Which was fine by him. Let her do all the work, that was her job in the student council anyway. His was Public Relations. And he would make sure to do his share in that sense.
Lifting his eyebrows in a debonair fashion at the girl once last time, the skinwalker glanced around at the rest of the cabin in an idle fashion, as if just now seeing something he hadn't noticed before (which of course he had.) "Heeeeey, isn't this the train we were on where students started exploding and stuff like that? The berserkers 'n all that?" he asked with a cheerful smile on his face, shoving his hands into his pockets and tilting his head back to get a good look at the now-christmasy-looking train. Although it looked slightly different, colored in the dying garland and rotting holly berries, there was no mistaking the fierce-looking train-cars, nor the faint stain of blood he swore he saw on the carpet. It was as large and foreboding as it had been the first time, that fateful day they had been heading back to school. He kind of loved it.
"Red said that she asked the students to go all nuts, but I think it was just a coverup. I think the train itself has been exorcised."
Nuk continued after a few more minutes of silence, saying it just loud enough that some of the other students might hear. Wouldn't hurt to spread a few rumors... you know, make this train ride a little more fun. Nuk's smirk broadened considerably at this thought, and he let his gold eyes drift to either side of them to see whom might have heard.
This was going to be fun.
Letting his arm drop from Kasumi's shoulder, the skinwalker clapped his hands together, smirking devilishly as he looked around the cabin at the other students, clearly ignoring much of what his fellow SC member had said.
"SO, who wants aboard the party car?"

Shehk was very effective at makin' her 'horror faces'. Or at least made one when she'd taken two steps up into the car, just to be greeted by UNEXPECTED SKINWALKER. Her ears immediately flattened to the best of their abilities while she frowned up at him.
"It's not warm enough to party in here." she stated flatly, making a point to peel off a glove and place one of her (FREEZING) hands on Nukpana's arm, wrapping her fingers around it for a moment...a really long moment, before she pried it off. "I will work on staying warm." she finished, ducking under one of his arms and retreating to the other end of the car to take a seat, practically melting into it and sighing.
What did a Pricolici have to do to transfer to a different car?? Besides ask Nukpana if they were going to do a hostile takeover game and start taking prisoners.
That might have been a little fun, she thought, but probably not worth the effort. She'd just make a point to have people sitting with her instead.
Preferably warm people.
"If this is a party.." she called across the car to the Skinwalker, "then it's not the most exciting one."

Lucien had never been the first anywhere in his time on the down side of Halloween, so it had been no surprise that there had already been students on the train when he stepped into the train cabin. Well, that was odd. No worries, Lucien's mind quickly brushed it off as his eyes wandered around, looking at the students who were already seated. He didn't recognize any of them. It really wasn't a shocker though, he didn't know a lot of students yet.
He was about to pass by but he couldn't help but turn his head in the direction of a noise. There he found himself looking at the skinwalker, intently, almost staring for a moment. He could have sworn he knew him from somewhere. Somewhere on the tip of Lucien's mind, just out of grasp. That was weird, he had never had such a feeling before. It wasn't unusual for him to pass by a subject or even forget about it for the moment but he could usually bring it back, but this time: nothing.
He tried not to stare, well, maybe not very hard. His eyes casually moving to the Pricolici as his head moved to his own head at the same time. He felt like there was an awful noise up there with that thought he just couldn't remember. How strange. Looking back at the skinwalker, the air elemental couldn't help but inquire, "Have we met before?" as he shuffled his bare feet on the floor.

Riley hadn't boarded the train yet. She had lingered just outside, far too interested in trains. Though she knew what it was, she'd actually never seen one with her own eyes. She was currently inspecting one of the wheels when the car she'd been assigned to had been opened. Her tentacles snapped to attention at the sound, and then fell into loose, lifeless waves around her head when she rose a lazy glance up at the door. Whatever destination they were headed to couldn't be as interesting as this spoke and the way each one jutted straight and even towards the epicenter of the wheel. It was so.. so.. deliciously symmetrical. She shuddered in pleasure.
With a disappointed glare, she managed to pull away from her discovery and climb up the stairs into her railcar. When she turned into the car, just behind some pale creature, she stopped just in front of Nukpana and Kasumi. They looked like they were in ~charge~. Therefore, they were the only ones that mattered. Riley stood up to look Nukpana straight in the eye, no real emotion flickering in her bright, pupilless gaze. She was taking inventory.
After a moment too long of staring, she flickered her eyes to Kasumi and softened. A thought occurred to them both, though it wasn't theirs; she was simply saying hello.
I hope that's not an empty promise. She responded to the party car comment, the tone of her thought friendly and light. She moved out of the way to let another student pass in, and to take her seat, near to the front, and arched a brow at Shehk's outcry. That was true, but she'd give them the benefit of the doubt. If they said this was going to be the party car.. then there damn well be a party in here soon.

Raven had laid claim to a seat near the back of her respective cabin - a place where she could watch everyone who got on and, hopefully, be relatively unnoticed herself. She didn't want to spend this whole trip being yammered at by...well that boy up front talking about turning this into the party cabin for one. I mean..seriously..why did she always get stuck with the immature crazies? It totally wasn't fair.
But she remained quiet about such thoughts and plastered a well..not completely unfriendly...look on her face in case someone should happen to look her way, always better to appear the gentle pleasant..maybe even boring type she'd decided, the less likely she'd be pinpointed out and actually have to socialize with these..strangers.

Black, wing-like ears twitched against the cold air as they listened to the ramblings of other eager and waiting students as well as the Student Council members. Corbin didn't recall where precisely this train was going or how long the trip would take but he came prepared: around his neck rested a pair of headphones, the wire dangling quite far and wrapping up into a pocket where it connected with his Stalkman. It had been a while since he last got to listen to anything and this train ride would be the perfect opportunity to relax.
At the mention of "party", the Wraith's bright blue eyes flickered over to the Skinwalker, spying the adamant Pricolici pushing past him to get to a seat. The other Student Council member, another Ghost, was busy tending to her checklist and a faint smile spread across his painted-looking face. Small wings twitching, ready to get into the warmth of the car, Corbin pulled the speakers of his headphones up and stepped inside, hugging the wall past Nukpana without a word.
It didn't matter to the crow who sat or spoke with him, conversation was never bothersome unless his emotions were particularly angst ridden, but today was quite neutral. Perhaps the ride would be fun, that suited him just fine, but so would having nothing particularly eventful happening.
Tucking himself into the nearest window seat, his white fingers plucked the Stalkman from his pocket. It grumbled, itching to play for him, and with a gentle stroke of a finger the monster casette player growled to life. It had a habit of playing random songs and bands, nearly on constant shuffle, but that was fine with Corbin since he only put in the tapes he was most fond of. Ultrakil thundered in his ears and instantly his body relaxed to a near jello state. His feet tucked beneath the seat in front of him, slouching down so no one behind him could see his thick mane of black hair, and his eyes closed. The only motion he gave were gentle finger taps on the arm of his chair, the beat having been memorized long ago.
Not halfway through the song, one of his eyes opened and directed toward his other seat. A gentle smile tugged at his cheeks, looking twice as large with the black lines, as he greeted whomever decided to sit beside him.
(( Hurrhurr, thought I'd give accompanying links to the REAL bands to at least give an audio aid. Anyway, here's list of other bands that may crop up in here for future reference: ilu Stalkman ))

Malodore boarded the train with gusto - as much gusto as the plague doctor was likely to have, anyway. It was rare for Malodore to be excited over something that had nothing to do with medicine, but the mystery train excursion was unusual enough to be worthy of note.
Luce was excited too, which helped! The little cwn annwn pup wriggled out of Malodore's arms as soon as the plague doctor sat down, begging up on the window and immediately steaming up the glass with her eager panting.
After patting Luce on the head, the plague doctor glanced around to see who else was in this car. It immediately spotted Kasumi, who seemed to be here in a more official capacity; it waved in her direction, briefly, and would nod and drop its beak in a smile if she chanced to look its way. And there was Shekh from class, and it also vaguely recognized the squid-like being from Botany...
... plenty of new faces, though. Malodore wasn't sure if that was interesting or annoying. Possibly both. Probably both.
Especially if this was going to be a 'party car'. Ugh. Malodore had had more than enough of parties after the Pink Elephant Incident.

For a moment, Jericho paused before the train to look it over. He had heard some rumors of a few... complications happening on one of these in the past, not that he was worried. It just made him wonder just how smooth of a ride this one will be. And for some reason, he just couldn't remember where they were all going. Oh well, he'd find out eventually.
With his hands in his pockets, he went on past the student council, glancing at them all briefly as he entered the train. It seemed there weren't a whole lot of students there already, which worked out as it gave him a nice selection of seats. Before going on and choosing one, he looked over his shoulder at the mention of a party. That could potentially be fun for sure.
Smirking at the thought of that, he ended up just taking a seat at random, finding himself next to a mindflayer. Raising an eyebrow, the red dragon hadn't personally met an illithid before but had heard a number of stories of the species. Some involved the demon taking over the minds of even dragons, so he felt a little bit of a need to be cautious. If it came down to it, he figured he could handle himself alright so he wasn't too wary or anything.
Before doing anything else, he shifted his wings some so he could get comfortable. These train seats weren't the most ideal things for him to be sitting in.
"Don't suppose you have any idea of where we're headed?" he asked the one beside him. Just by looking at them, he wasn't entirely certain what gender the mindflayer was. Possibly female?

Riley didn't expect someone to sit next to her so soon, with so many seats available. It wasn't an unwelcome sight, simply interesting. She made the most of it, turning with a slow roll to look at Jericho. She assessed him openly, though it was difficult to decipher the movement of her eyes as they took his features in. She would smile at the completion of her assessment, except she had no mouth. So there was no visible reaction.
Her thoughts brushed against his mind, a subdued voice so as not to frighten him. Being so close, she'd rather he not be startled; flailing limbs could cause damage at this proximity.
I don't. That's half the fun, isn't it? Her response felt as though a wisp of laughter curled around the words, vaguely indicating amusement.
Besides, she murmured, glancing briefly behind her at the students piling into other rows. It's always better to enjoy the journey, rather than worry about the destination. Her eyes returned to Jericho, crinkled with a friendly sort of mirth.
Who are you? She asked boldly, not really much for subtleness. I haven't seen you around here before, not that I've been around long myself. I'm Riley.
She extended long, graceful fingers out, one at a time, until her hand was fully open to accept a greeting; whether he took it, or not, mattered little to her. She wouldn't be offended if he ignored it altogether.

Iolanthe stood outside the car, perfectly still, with her arms crossed over her chest - giving off an air that could only be described as complete and utter irritation. Why couldn't the cars be arranged according to species? Then Iolanthe could have enjoyed a nice car ride with her fellow demons, chatting and gossiping. She glanced wistfully down the line of cars to the one she'd seen her brother entering some time before, briefly considering breaking these silly school rules to go be with him instead.
Alas, Iolanthe wasn't the type to let her personal bias get in the way of her learning and if this trip was going to be informative in the slightest, she wouldn't risk screwing that up. So, with a sigh of defeat, she uncrossed her arms and made her way into the cabin.
At first glance, it looked like the school was trying to torture her - almost everyone already present was.. a monster, or undead. She grimaced before she could stop herself (not that she really cared to) and squeezed past the student council members so she could find a seat. As she passed by, she heard the monster (she was awful with names) say something about a party. The grimace on her face became even more obvious, and she actually sneered a little as she threw a glance over her shoulder.
"I will not be partying with this kind of crowd," she muttered in disgust as she slid into a seat, as far away from anyone else as she possibly could. She even curled her arms up to cross them over her chest as if she were afraid one of them might accidentally brush her and rub off some of their inferiority.

!!!!!!!
Shehk seemed to perk at the sight of another canine (though really, why she didn't bark at Tristan all the time would have been questionable...if it wasn't for the fact that looking canine said a thing or two..), looking at the pup that Maladore that brought on the train with him and immediately breaking what would have been silence with
BARK BARK BARK BARK!! (Yes, this noise came out of her in humanoid form)
Was it a greeting? Depended, really Shehk wasn't really an aggressive individual.. then again, only a handful of people had ever seen her in canine form.. and even less had gotten between her and food (well, he'd actually brought it to her, so she'd reacted a little too enthusiastically over that). However, it was nearly seconds before the student had practically planted herself into what looked like the most awkward sitting position ever.. ... ....
Only to frown and crinkle her brows together.
"Hey! What's the deal with this train!!? I can't change!!" she protested immediately, seeming upset that her one chance at puppy-romping time had been ruined.
Oh of all things...

More and more students filed in, getting comfortable--at least, as comfortable as ghouls and boils who wished to be as far away from each other as possible could. No one had sat beside him yet and the smile that had formed quickly faded into one of complacence while he listened to his music.
At the change of the song, all he could hear was the clamor on the train and one thing in particular stood out to him.
"I can't change!" an angry and confused voice erupted from the girl he first saw push past the Skinwalker, now sitting as if she were a dog in her seat--she most certainly did not look like a dog. Frowning, Corbin sat up and pressed pause on his Stalkman, pulling his headphones back down to rest around his neck. Her changing must have been her natural ability, fitting based on her ears and tail but she seemed more Undead than Monster.
Bringing a hand up to rest against the back of the seat in front of him, Corbin concentrated and willed it to pass through. Seconds later, nothing happened. Pulling back and scrutinizing his palm, the Wraith solemnly determined that there was definitely something wrong with the train and none of them. "I can't phase," he called blankly to Shehk and raised his hand for emphasis, "Must have blocked our abilities some how." Well that wasn't very nice. In fact, it made him a bit uncomfortable. What if a fight broke out? He would be susceptible to an accidental hit and then where would he be? Right in it, that's where.
