Amelia was raised in a wealthy family, who’s money was earned by being in possession of a few factories concerning household goods and the like. Of course, a rather large portion was gained through the mafia, due to her father's parents. By all appearances they were an average family; living in an upscale neighborhood with one daughter and son with another child on the way. However, much of that was jeopardized when strange things seemed to occur around their little girl, and no one could provide answers.
When she was three she caused a stuffed animal to appear after seeing it on a commercial, along with a 'princess make-up bag'. Her father had just returned from work, and her mother was setting the table when they looked up to see Amelia retrieve the items from thin air. They called a doctor, first for themselves and then for the child when nothing was found to be wrong. How, then, did she get those toys? It was her kindergarten teacher, Ms. Chesar, who finally explained things, after seeing Amelia perform a similar trick to get a new pencil. She made a house call, and spoke about magic and the veil to the family. Ms. Chesar was a witch who worked for the council, one who lived among humans in hopes of finding children like Amelia, to ensure that no magical being went without help.
So even as she grew up and entered high school, Amelia was given lessons by her kindergarten teacher until her parents finally looked into a school within the veil. However, she wasn’t able to attend until her senior year; but a year was better than nothing.
Personality:
Amelia is the most out-going of the Caliu’s, and the least organized. She loves to do any number of fun things from watching a movie to dancing in a club. Her opinions are rarely left to herself, making her most compatible with those can sit and gossip about a recent event for hours. Although, occasionally she enjoys learning something new, and will hear out anyone who offers and interesting lesson.
Hobbies:
Now that she has a daughter and a job as magazine editor, Amelia has very little time for pursuing her own interests. However, when she finds those rare moments, she prefers to use it by shopping.
