Fan Dancing: Though she enjoys watching many types of dance, Talia has taken a special liking to fan dancing. She is currently learning on her own through videos and books, but is also looking for a group to join (she has had no luck yet). She can often be seen practicing in a park, or any other open, public place. Talia's fans are a sunset of red, orange, and yellow, and have a small dragon tassle on the end. She also knows a few gymnastics moves as a result, but her knowledge is restricted to a few tumbles and a front flip. Her mother loves watching her dance, and fully supports this hobby, but her father does not see much sense in it. Talia discovered this love via the good old television. One day she was watching a show and some professional Chinese fan dancers came on screen. She was completely captivated and has loved it since.

Arcade Fighter Games:Yes, Talia is an avid fighter. In the game shops, that is. She is constantly seen at the arcades duking it out on the latest fighter games; a personal favorite of hers being Mortal Kombat. When she was younger, her family would always pass a family-owned arcade on the way to school. Eventually she decided to bravely visit it for a birthday party. Nowadays, she can beat most of the boys at the game, and occasionally enters tournaments for fun (even though she loses most of these tournaments). Talia is very serious while playing, but does not mind rubbing her victory in her opponent's face very extraneously. She generally does not play other genres of games, but is willing to try anything if it sounds fun.

Tennis: Taken up due to her father, Talia is quite the contender when it comes to tennis. Her father put her in it when she was younger, and she simply stayed in it due to her young age and inability to choose whether or not she continued. As time went on though, Talia began to enjoy it more and more, and now enjoys playing the sport. She wants to try out for the tennis team at her school at some point. Her father is very pleased with this turn out, and while he is not at most of her games, he is very supportive. He buys most of her equipment, and pays for all fees she may have. Talia's particular racket is black with a few red stripes.

Virtues:

Ooh, let's try that: Talia is always open for new things. She is always first in line to try that new pickle flavored ice cream, even though she knows it will taste gross. She also loves encouraging others to try new things! Talia is very adventurous and always up for a new challenge, even if it's too hard. In this way, she sometimes comes off as arrogant, but really just wants to beat the standard and be the best she can be. She doesn't necessarily seek out challenges, but will always take them. For example, if someone gives her a game she will try it on normal mode like most people. But if someone hands it to her and says "I beat hard mode!" she will spend all day trying to beat hard mode as well, with a fully completed file. Talia loves being the center of attention at all times, even if some of the stares she gets say "why would she want to try pickle flavored ice cream?"

Well that's the capital of...: Mostly an aftereffect from her father's strict attitude, Talia is exceedingly studious. She works very hard on all of her projects, and while she doesn't always plan accordingly (starting a 3 month project 1 week before the due date...), she will stay up as late as necessary to finish the work according to her perfectionist needs. Anything below a B- is the dumps for her, and she will often scolder herself (much like Alice did in Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland") for doing poorly. Talia tries to help tutor other students, but often has a hard time explaining things to others without confusing them further. If you ever need help though, she will continue to tutor you until you understand. (NO GIVING UP FOR YOUUU). She's not necessarily intelligent, or even the smartest kid in the classroom, she is simply studious and works hard. It does not come naturally to her- she works for it.

New Bold Flavor!: Afraid of asking that cute guy out? Perhaps there's a cool looking tree to climb, but it's much too tall to be safe? Never fear, Talia Chu is here! Talia is bold and outgoing. She doesn't mind asking a complete stranger for directions, nor would she mind skydiving (in fact, she's always wanted to try ...). This isn't to say she loud and obnoxiously talking to everyone. She simply doesn't have the insecurity of having to put herself out there. It also means that she'll talk to the shy kid in the corner in order to make him/her feel more welcome.

I Last Longer than a Twinkie! Talia has a surprising amount of endurance despite her small stature. She has enough energy to wake up at 4 AM, practice her dance, run around the block, and STILL have a cheery attitude at school. You'll never hear her say "I'm too tired" unless the situation is dire and she's running on her last adrenaline cell. It's not like Talia never runs out of juice, but as long as it's there, she'll put her best foot forward. It can also be said that she isn't bouncing up and down in her chair. It's more like she simply has more endurance than the average human. This also isn't to say that she never runs out. She does have bad days, sick days, etc.

Flaws:

Would you Listen to me?: Talia feels as though her voice is NEVER heard loudly enough, mostly due to her father's inability to compromise. She feels as though she should always speak her thoughts and opinions, and make sure it's definitely loud enough for you to hear it. She doesn't just walk up to people and start talking about things, she will wait until its her turn to talk. The things she talks about always have merit as well; it's not like she spouts random things that come to mind. The real problem is that once you get Talia going, she just will not stop. If you say, "I like cheese" she will talk to you forever about how great cheese is. You can also bet that in class, she's always the one the teacher is yelling at to be quiet and sit down. Talia is like the attention starved little child who always needs someone to talk to in order to stay pacified. She also texts like a mad-man because of this.

Tempered Like a Shrew: Talia is a spicy hot-tempered girl. She gets frustrated and angry very quickly, especially when it comes to competition. During her fighter game matches she can literally be seen talking to the game. While playing tennis she will belittle the referees loud enough for people to hear. She won't yell at him, screaming and cursing, as she does believe in somewhat civil behavior; she's just not exactly a believer in "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." If something really bad goes down, she has a completely meltdown and just starts crying on the spot. In these times, she can usually be calmed by a voice of reason or a cup of warm tea. In other words, she gets frustrated easily, but is also calmed quickly and easily.

Let's See It ALL: Because of her endurance, Talia will drag you all over. If you want to hang out with her, you should probably take her somewhere simple like a coffee shop. Why? Well if you take her to the circus she will want to meet every carnie, every worker, every elephant, and every person who ever stepped foot in the main tent. It's definitely not like she's doing it purposely. She simply doesn't realize that normal people don't have ridiculous amounts of energy. She will run you up and down, simply because she forgets that others don't have the same endurance she does. Once she does notice you're not keeping up, she'll slow down, but until then you'll simply have to deal with it. I'd suggest you speak up before things get dire.

Hey, this is MY Limelight: Are you learning to play tennis?Awesome- Talia's mastered it. Did you get an A on that test? Talia got an A+. Talia is constantly trying to one up others, and always tries to be the best at anything she does. The spotlight belongs to her and absolutely no one is allowed to take it. If you challenge her to a card game she's never heard of, she will spend all night mastering it, just to humiliate you. Unfortunately, her father promotes this type of attitude; he seeks a daughter that achieves even more than he did.

Can I have that?: Talia is a massive hoarder. She especially enjoys collecting things with gemstones. Whether it be keychains, rings, necklaces or pins, anything with gemstones on is a keeper. She keeps all of these collectibles in the top drawer of her dresser. She sometimes wears the necklaces and rings, but mostly keeps them to herself. She doesn't like other people touching them- it just feels wrong to her.

Nice Bod' Girl: It's no accident that Talia is in good shape. With the various sports she does, she naturally has a nice physique. She doesn't eat all that healthily, but she exercises to keep the weight off. However, Talia doesn't obsess over her weight. She isn't one of those "oh my god, I'm so fat, let's go for a run!" type of girls. She's simply very athletic and her physique shows it.

Those shoes are so cute: Need to know what color best matches your eyes? How about a shirt that matches that odd colored skirt of yours? Talia is your girl. Due to her family's wealth, Talia has access to quite a few expensive clothing stores. As such, she knows what's in, what's out, and what will never come back in style. Her clothes are always tastefully picked out and she always offers advice to those who might need it. Not to say she's walking up to strangers and saying "those shoes don't match your shirt," but when friends need advice, she always puts in her two cents.

I won't say I'm in Love~: Talia tells everyone "I'm fine being single for now," but deep down she is very traditionally romantic. She loves flowers, chocolates and cheesy romantic comedies. She doesn't like the idea of flings, and would never have a false relationship. For her the romance has to be very traditional (boy asks girl, dates at resteraunts, knights saving damsels...). Of course, for now she only has her daydreams, as she's single. For now. C;

Possessions:
Tennis Racket: As mentioned above, Talia has a tennis racket, which is black with a few red sections and a red handle. (similar to this). She has a spare racket as well, but takes very good of her rackets so she hardly has to use it. The spare racket is bright yellow.

Dancing Fans: Also as mentioned above, Talia has two sunset colored fans, with small dragon tassle on the end. Bought at a specialized dance store without her father's knowledge. They are a little worn from overuse. There are gold embellishments along the wooden edges of the fan's skeletal structure.

Glasses: Talia has a set of thick rimmed glasses that she almost never wears. She instead opts for non-colored contacts. The glasses are black with a small red dot on either side. Nothing special, simply a possession. Wears them when necessary. She doesn't dislike how they look, she just doesn't like the ... clunkiness glasses carry. Contacts are much easier to her.

Ears: Talia owns a simple pink rabbit stuffed animal named Ears. It is worn and no longer fuzzy. The stuffed animal has two black eyes, a small, heart-shaped nose and a meek smile. It is cotton candy colored and remains on her bed at all times. It has a few stitches broken from use that Talia has crudely repaired by hand. She's not much of a seamstress, but she wanted to try it.

Backpack: Talia carries this thing everywhere. She somehow manages to plan so that everything fits in it- even for school. If she goes on trips, you can bet she has it. For some odd reason though, it doesn't look a day past when she bought it (okay theres a little stain from where she spilled nail polish on it- but no one can see that, right ? D8>

Talia's Family

Layton Chu: Talia's father. A stern man who makes his living as a lawyer. He is very successful and wishes that Talia be as successful as him. When Talia was younger, he traveled quite a bit, so he missed out on many of the key turning points in her life (middle school graduation, her first tennis tournament, etc.). His looming presence makes Talia feel as though she will never be good enough for him, even though she claims to love him very much.

He is rather tall with salt and peppered hair cut back. He has mature looking glasses and steely grey-brown eyes. He is almost always seen in a suit, his favorite of which is dark black and lavishly pinstriped. His favorite tie is a becoming maroon.

Dahlia Chu: Talia's mother. She is a very warm loving person, that succeeds in softening her husband's hardened attitude. Despite the two's differences, Dahlia and Layton are very much in love, proving the "opposites attract" theory. Dahlia was a renowned baker who ran her own chain of pastry shops, ranging all over the city. However, after having Talia she realized she needed to slow down and really settle down. With their surplus of money, Dahlia became a stay at home mom, and is the one who mostly attends to Talia's parental needs.

She has orange, curly hair that is cut shoulder length. She loves wearing petite dresses, and she loves dresses that she can twirl about in (much to Talia's embarassment). While she loves being a mother, she isn't very good at "motherly" things- gardening, sewing, first aid etc. Dahlia always tries her best though!

Alana Nolan: Talia's grandmother, on mother's side. The only one of Talia's grandparents whom she has ever met. She is very happy, and is in good sorts with both Talia's mother and father. She can always be seen whistling some happy tune, and takes over many of the responsibilities that Dahlia lacks (happily though, she loves helping the family in her own special way). She is also, coincidentally, an excellent tea maker. Alana's husband died young, from a disease. She loved him and misses him very much, but has realized that life moves on. Talia's grandparents on her father's side have had a falling out with the family, as they don't approve of his marriage choice.

Her grandmother's hair is significantly grey, and she has many wrinkles; fortunately most of them are laugh lines. She wears "old people clothes" (sweaters, long skirts, boring shoes, etc). She enjoys cooking with Dahlia and Talia.

History:
((Keep in mind, this is meant to be short. will elaborate further in her solos/journal, but for now im keeping it simple and to the point))
Talia's family is very wealthy due to her mother's famous bakeries, and her father's renowned law skills. Dahlia and Layton fell in love during their college years, and despite Laytons' parents' disapproval, they were married. Layton no longer keeps in contact with his parents, save for a letter at Christmas and birthdays as a formality. Despite this, their family is quite happy. Dahlia's mother lives with them, as she is too old to handle an entire household by herself. They live quite happily in their house, and despite some conflicts, are generally a well-kept family. Talia's father is a famous lawyer, and because of this he travels all over to defend various clients. He is very strict, and uses this to show love to his daughter. He misses many of her famous events, but always stays home whenever possible. It is not that he doesn't love the family (quite the opposite, he loves them very much) it is that his work simply doesn't permit the time.
Because of this, Talia and her father are very disconnected. They are more acquaintances than family members, and she has a hard time talking to him. The fact that he is very strict and stern does not help this situation. He pushes her to be the best she can be, even when sometimes she does not want to be pushed.
Talia's mother on the other hand, is very close to her. They are with each other most of the time at home, as Dahlia is a stay at home mother. Talia enjoys her mother's company, and often participates in household activities. Her mother is the one she goes to for help, and as such they have a very close bond.

Overall, the family is peculiarly happy together, if not a bit distanced from Layton.

Senshi
Right now Sailor Draconis' attacks are coming across as 3 different attacks.

The super senshi attack is an upgrade of the senshi attack, the eternal attack is a different attack altogether.

When reading throught the Draconis Breath of Flame attack one thing I was uncertain of was whether this attack causes damage to Sailor Draconis, if so how much damage? Light burns?

Out of the two attacks, the Draconis Breath of Flame attack makes me think of dragons most - maybe have the Super Senshi attack be a stronger version of this

I love the imagery evoked by the Draconis Fatal Swoop attack, but the words 'Completely encompasses the enemy, obliterating them' makes it comes across as kind of overpowered to me. Maybe keep the damage to the severe, painful burns all over if it connects?

Hmmm. I suppose I never thought of that. For the dancing, she simply saw it on tv in some show she doesn't remember now. She liked how it looked, so she picked up a few videos and books and has just worked on it from there.

As for the arcade fighting games, she passed an arcade to school everyday and for one of her birthdays when she was younger, that's where she requested to go. She's liked it ever since o v o

i was simply thinking of it as after performing this attack, if something hits her in the hands its like a jillion times more painful. so if someone tapped her on the hands, it would feel like a punch or something.

Since she isn't very fond of slow people and has a short temper, do you think you could consider impatience as another one of her flaws?
I'm also curious to know what her motivation is that keeps her upbeat and ready to take each day on? Knowing her story on how she was raised would add some depth too. <3 Was she essentially the same person as she was 4 years ago or has she been developing in any way into a mature young lady? What or who has influenced Talia to be the way she is and how has that made an impact upon her?

Another thing I noticed is that she is quite self-dependent. So, it sounds like she believes that she doesn't need help from anyone and that all her achievements are due to her effort alone. But are there certain times when she needs someone else to depend on? What is her Achilles' heel or her weakness that can cause her to stumble? Although most of her days are likely to be great because of her consistently positive attitude, how would she act during the fewer days when things aren't flowing along smoothly? Does she turn to her mother during those down times? She is definitely extroverted, and vies for the attention of others, so I would assume so.

And Idk if Those shoes are so cute is really a virtue, even though I love it. xD Maybe it can fit another category because virtues are traits or qualities that are known to be morally excellent, qualities that are valued and respected, like patience, for instance. Talia's sense of fashion should probably be considered as more of a gift or talent than a virtue.

Otherwise, she is pretty aweshum and I'd chill with her. <333 gewd jorb.

I'm going backwards here so bare with me:

Attacks:
*I was going to go after dragons at one point and struggled with this, you have done a good job. I have one real problem and it is the hand thing. Okay she needs to make a diamond to do the attack, but why can't she move? She shoots a flame and she can't move because of that. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Flaws:
* The ways they are written Would you listen to me and tempered like a shrew clash just a bit. You said she curse the ref under her breath and even being a smart competitive girl she is, I see her voicing her opinion quite nicely and definitely out loud.

*For Tempered I can imagine that means if something is going bad its hard to turn that around for her. I mean once she starts flipping out, is it an it all goes down the toliet thing or she just needs a moment thing?

Virtues:
*Sorry but I can understand wanting to try new things, but I really want an explanation as to trying something you know will be awful and has no real benefit to you? Tell me it was a dare, please tell me it was dare! XD

On that note, does she like Truth or Dare? She seems like the type.

I haven't really much else to say. I like her and really hope she comes into play.
