a little background☾
Thanks to Zoey Redbird and her team of affinity blessed friends, they took down Neferet and her ultimate plot to cover the world in darkness and death along with the aid of darkness, Kalona. It was a long and tedious battle, tribulations beyond measures. The war eventually written into the history books of the House of Night. It took a good 15 years, but the Vampyre species managed to erase the memories of their appearance from the humans, unless they were, of course, related to a vampyre in any way. Now things are back to way they were before the whole "Era of the Darkness", with a few changes provided by Zoey of course. She eventually became the high priestess of the House of Night in Tulsa, and that's where we find our selves today. Life hasn't changed much since the disaster, and more and more children are being hand picked by the Goddess Nyx to come join this prestigious academy. So their legend lives on. The "nerd herd" has separated and gone on into their own lives of living the dreams and what not, still keeping a strong connection, for whenever Zoey is in need of a ritual, they are always on board. Although, truly, most of them have become professors at the House of Night anyway!
Another new addition to the House of Night. The red vampyres actually live within the quarters as well! They are being taught by some of the eldest red vampyres who have done exstensive study on their character and nature, of course explaining the rules and boundries of themselves. The red vampyres live in separate dorm quarters. More like underground quarters, but with the same grand style of the rest of the house of night. Just simply beneath the earth. However, they are encouraged to interact with the blue vamps as much as possible, despite their tendency...to be slightly aggressive.
Nontheless, all is well in the House of Night. All is well...
the crappy problem☾
...But Aphrodite, a secret ally in Zoey's cabinet and blessed by the Goddess despite the obvious fact she is still human, had two visions. These visions in particular are starring the fresh fledgelings entering the new and improve House of Night. There are ominous shadows that follow these students, whether they know it or not. However, Aphrodite, to her uneasiness, cannot pinpoint the origin nor the deaths that follow her vision; for that is her affinity, she can see death before it happens, as well she is able to stop it if she gets the right information in time. In a following vision, she saw a moving picture of Neferet! Unfortunately, Neferet can't possibly be alive! But there she was, the face of evil staring at someone, being studied through the eyes of Aphrodite, who of course was screaming maddeningly as she watched this horror. The vision then ended, and of course the girl reports the horrifying truths to High Priestess Redbird.
Now the questions remain: What do these new fledglings have to do with the possibly impending darkness? And is Neferet really alive? Or is there someone else under the cover of the House of Night here to replace her? It'll take the help of friendship and the almighty Nyx to get these vampyres and the House of Night through this mysterious new chapter.

_____ → ( Literacy ) Okay first things first, if you cannot type at least two to three or more paragraphs with five to more sentences I suggest you hit that little back arrow right now. Anyways. The font that you must use is nine to eleven. You can get a few things spelled wrong but if its every other word. That's just very annoying. Oh yes, and no one liners at all! Say how the tree's look anything but a one liner!!! You are to post at the least one paragraph! There is only one exception to that... if the person your roleplaying with didn't give you a lot to roleplay with. Or its towards the middle-end where people stop posting to much. That is okay! Otherwise its a no! Also Post always and forever in third person. Because it sounds the best. No first person posting at all! → ( Posting ) Okay so basically what I said before no one liners, no bad spelling and the length of the posts. Now! Make your posts pretty. Or else. I want symbols, names of you character, colors, quotes, songs, anything you want to make it pretty. There's one other thing. Please do not make something on your post supper big so it messes up the whole page it really annoys me when that happens. Those things are demanded. And you must have your characters picture in the post so we know to whom your playing. And along with the spelling no txt talk to l337 speak. Please!!!! And if you know someone in the form; do not use their name. its bad... but anyways that's not to big of a rule. Do not Ooc in the thread!!!!!! When thinking something please use italics and when "speaking" use quotes please. Oh and only post in third person please! Only Third person! But in the profiles you can fill it out in first but that's the only time. → ( ToS ) We all know the rules and I demand that you follow them or your out of the thread. No exceptions at all! That means no cybering at all. Its just disgusting! Don't even take it to PM's or time skip! Nooo!!! Not all. No godmoding its for losers. So please don't do anything against the Tos. → ( How to Join ) Now I hope you didn't just skip to this one because if you did your not going to find what your looking for here, because you were supposed to read all the rules. So if you didn't your in big trouble, and if you have good read on. Also, please don't change anything in the skeletons. And you must send in the reserve profile. Though there isn't anything to reserve, it gives a little quick-fix to those who forgot something about your profile instead of going to the profile thread all over again.. You have to! No just making the profile and sending it. No. It doesn't work that way. Fill out the reservation then you can fill out the skelly. Title the reserve PM "Nyx has chosen me". Title the profile PM "Dare to Enter the House of Night" → ( Added Rules ) I can add rules whenever I want.

Vampyres 101 Rules Rule #1: Once Marked by a Tracker, report to the House of Night as soon as possible. Rule #2: If you are Marked, you must leave your home and move into the House of Night school, where you will take your place as a fledgling and live for four years. Rule #3: At the House of Night School, classes begin at 8pm and end at 3am. The gym is open until dawn. Rule #4:You can never be far from an adult Vampyre for long. And it’s not like you’ll turn into a pumpkin. It’s a much bigger deal than that. Rule #5: Formal rituals are held at Nyx’s Temple twice a week. At the ceremony’s commencement, turn to the east, south, west and north to summon (in order) air, fire, water and earth. Rule #6: If one of the cats at the school chooses you, you will belong to him or her. Not the other way around. There is no way out of the bondage… except death Rule #7:Every High Priestess is given an affinity, or special powers, by the Goddess. Rule #8: If you ever leave school grounds, you cannot wear any part of your uniform (which is primarily basic black) and must conceal all tattoo markings. Rule #9:Here at the House of Night school, there are no lockers. You will have cabinets in your homeroom. If someone steals something, the vamps will know it. As will Nyx.
The Dark Daughters and Sons The Dark Daughters and Sons is the House of Night’s premier fledgling organization. Its members are the best and brightest of our school and set the standard for the other fledglings. The Leader of the Dark Daughters is chosen because Nyx has gifted her with extraordinary powers. This young woman is considered a High Priestess in Training and has the added responsibility of both performing monthly rituals dedicated to Nyx and leading the fledgling members in the rituals. The Leader of the Dark Daughters is mentored by the High Priestess of the House of Night, who takes special interest in her development. Membership in the Dark Daughters and Sons is by exclusive invitation only.
Nyx Often Nyx gifts individual fledglings and vampyres with special powers. Those so gifted are also given the additional responsibility of becoming leaders among their kind such as High Priestesses or Warriors. Nyx is a benevolent Goddess. She is not jealous or vindictive, but she does not tolerate liars and her path is not always an easy one to tread. So, choose wisely…
Former insignia's Third FormerThe third formers’ symbol is embroidered in silver in the shape of a spiral that glitters in a delicate circle. The symbol – the silver labyrinth of the Goddess Nyx – stands for a new beginning for the third formers as they walk the Path of Night and learn the ways of the Goddess. Fourth FormerThe golden wings of Eros are the fourth formers’ symbol. Eros – the love god – is the child of Nyx’s seed. The symbol reminds the fourth formers of Nyx’s capacity to love and also represents the students’ continuous movement forward. Fifth FormerThe fifth former emblem represents Nyx’s golden chariot pulling a trail of stars. The chariot illustrates the fifth formers’ continuation of Nyx’s journey. The stars represent the magic of a fledgling’s first two years at the House of Night. Sixth FormerThe sixth formers’ symbol is an embroidered silver silhouette of the three Fates, the children of Nyx. The sixth formers all wear the emblem of the Fates, the goddesses of destiny. The scissors signify the end or break of the formers’ time at the House of Night. ProfessorsThe professors’ symbol is the silver embroidered image of Nyx with her arms upraised and her hands cupping a crescent moon.

places/time/date ect Get Marked [Edit Your Picture To Give Your Character Their Marks]If you're a fledgling, you really are only supposed to have a simple crescent moon on your forehead. You receive your swirls and pretty decorations when you're a full vampyre. Depending on which breed you are, give your picture a red or blue crescent.
