 Prelude was not the most graceful 'Phim, nor was he the smoothest, so when he went crashing into a tree and sprained his right wing it really wasn't surprising to many, save Prelude. He always was surprised when he went crashing into objects or knocked something over, not really coming to terms to the fact that he was not like most 'Phim's. He knew if his best friend was here she would probably chastise him and help him with his wing, but she wasn't. So, the male just let his wing hang limply, unsure how to care for it and not really caring anymore, his attention span didn't last long anymore.
No, instead he was curled up beside a lake, watching the fish under the water. He contemplated trying to grab one but hesitated, not really sure how to even fish. The male decided it didn't really matter, using his paw to try and foolishly grab a fish. Instead, his injured wing awkwardly bent forward, throwing his weight off and sending the male into the water.
Really, he was an embarrassment....

Thea had been taking a nice, quiet walk by herself when she heard a loud splash, a splash that very sharply interrupted the silence Thea had been enjoying.
It sounded like it had been too loud for a squirrel or a bird, and since it was dark out, she didn't think anyone but Lunarie members would be playing in a pool (especially with how cold it was about to get), so she had no choice but to investigate.
Padding over silently, the paint-splattered vixen peered out from behind a tree, blinking in surprise as her eyes fell on the Modiphim in the lake, sopping wet. Weren't they supposed to be rather graceful...?
Mentally chastising herself for jumping to conclusions, the young lady made herself known and stepped out of the woods, clearing her throat delicately.
"Excuse me...do you need help...?" Thea made herself ask quietly, although her better instincts were telling her to run--what if this Modiphim attacked her? What would Ripeti and Schizzo and Sienna do without their mother? She caught herself before she could actually run, however--she knew that most Modiphims were kind, unlike Modidaevas. But what if this Modiphim wanted her to leave him alone...?
Not having anything else to say, Thea looked down, away from him and blushed lightly--she knew it would be sorely obvious against her white fur.

Did he hear a voice? His splashing and flailing was making rather hard to hear, but his eyes did not deceive him. It was a vixen! A rather pretty one, or so he believed, it was kind of hard to tell what someone looked like while flailing about in water. The male heard her question, answering it with more flailing and his injured wing flapping like a mentally challenged bird.
Jeez, why did he have to embarrass himself in front of a lady, of all days?
"I am alright, don't worry about me!" He managed to choke back, water entering his mouth. He knew he could swim, or could he? Wait, had Persephone ever taught him how? He was a Phim, not a fish! The male grunted as he managed to flail himself towards the shore, roughly pulling himself up and staggering onto dry land.
Shaking off water, the injured male muttered a stream of rather childish curses at the water, blaming it for his recent dive. Finally, he focused on the female, sputtering some nonsense that sounded somewhat like :"I'm so sorry about that, I was just trying to fish and then I was in the water." Of course, typical Prelude, it came out like garbled nonsense and much different than the translation above.
He didn't notice her blush, not yet, to focused on trying to not seem like such a fool and failing completely. Eventually the male shut his mouth long enough to notice her red cheeks, mouth opening to suddenly ramble again.
"Oh my! Your cheeks are red! Are you sick?! Were you coming here to get a drink of water? Oh jeez, sorry about that. Here, go get a drink, but uhm there may be some feathers in there, feathers tend to go flying when wet. You know how it is. Wait, no you don't...."
