... Kinxed told me I should post pictures from New York Comic Con, I am posting away. xd

So, I went to gaia panel and they said that they would be launching a new flash based game called Gaia Tiles (pic here).

Also, they're going to have something else called Dumpster Dive (pic here). Basically all the items that gaia users trash will go into this special dumpster, and then you get to go pick something out of the trash. It sounds like it's going to be a daily chance kind of thing, but just with items that people trashed from their inventory. You will be able to see who the trash item came from once you get it (in the event that you want to thank said person for the item).

Also, gaia is going to get a new area. They only showed it on the slide for like 20 seconds. (pic here). They didn't give any details except that it's a new area coming soon to the Gaia map I believe.

Also, there'll be some new NPCs. There was this funny named one.. dammit I forgot what it's called. xd
And I saw the animated for the zOMG Halloween event. Looks nice. Oh and DJ Helsing said something about "Jack is back". Not sure if it's for the zOMG Halloween event or Gaia (site) Halloween event. surprised

I got to speak to both DJ Helsing and Bronstahd. Bron confirmed what's being said (nothing new).... that they will be moved back to zOMG eventually. He was very nice to talk to. Cool guy.

Someone won an OMG Hat during the games and prizes at panel. It wasn't me. emo

Overall, it was a fun day, so much to see and do.

Edit- Oh oh, and they also said that eventually they will be giving out prizes for completing certain gaia achievements

tl;dr - I had a blast!
Oh and sorry about the crappy pics from the slide. I couldn't get them any better.

@ LMF - Yeah I had fun. And I actually wasn't going to go this year. I decided to at the last minute.

Imagine seeing a group of like 30+ people dancing like this. >_> Some of them were kids though so it was kinda cute. I think it was for some contest or something.

I think I recall a few people in the crowd making noise about zOMG and moving the devs back etc. But, DJ Helsing shushed them. ;o

Well right now, the only thing they really worked on recently is the Halloween event. He hopes we'll like it. They're currently not really doing anything else right now, although I got the impression that they will be soon. He did mention Buccaneer Boardwalk and the Coliseum and that they're slowly working on that. He also said there would be some new recipes (rare ones).
I really don't know what he's personally working on at the moment to be honest ._.
