WHERE I'm in PST time, so this post was made 9:55 PM local time.
10 entersWHAT'S LULU + PEONY DOING NOW?
▫ She successfully joined the Council of Sciences and is focusing on Toxicology and spent her time in Rosstead experimenting and lamenting her "horrendous situation" as she lost her ideal position.
▫ Nonetheless, Lulu eventually was able to move back to Gadu! She is trying to pick herself up after the events of Credence by making a name for herself instead of being associated with Alfred Rogers in the town she and Alfred called home for years.
▫ Peony is still very attached to Lulu, but she is a very curious girl and is open to what others have to say. However, at this point in time, she still compares other people's thoughts to Lulu's way of thinking.
▫ Peony does not know the truth about Lulu and Alfred Rogers, and with the introduction of her stunted friends and Lulu being a part of the council, Peony wants to know more people!
▫ Just a side note: Lulu's stunteds are all mostly utilized as Peony's playthings or they run small errands for Lulu in the labs.If you would like your characters to interact with any of them if Peony or Lulu are not available, please feel free to do so! There are brief descriptions and pictures of each stunted under "Possessions".

Appearance
Smaller than a shilling, Peony is half an inch tall. Here is a height comparison!
Personality
In contrast with Lulu's rather skeptical view on love (and life), Peony is somewhat a whimsical and hopeless romantic. For now, Peony is protective and clingy, being genuinely grateful for Lulu's great care for her--regardless of Lulu's personal reasons. It's really just the fact that Lulu treated her with such gentleness and sincerity from when she was a cloak--not to mention, actually remained to keep her...It's really all that Peony needs.
She doesn't really have much of a goal, but wants to witness more people and have more experiences--but wants Lulu there with her. With a rather naive view, Peony wants to know more and more about the world, and come to learn things through Lulu's point of view. At the moment, she doesn't really realize how dangerous Lulu's view on things are, and takes it to be the most credible. However, this can all change when she meets others, allowing others (and not just Lulu) to shape how Peony thinks.
Item History
A certain Mr. Alfred Rogers had visited Yirui once before meeting the femme fatale that would change his life forever. While it was a rather impromptu visit, he had one plan. And one plan only. He just had to get his hands on the finest silk--if it, was, indeed, silk--to create a very fine cloak. The weather had been rough on him, and the idea of being cooped up in his house didn't please him. But, if he simply wanted a cloak, why go all the way to Yirui? He could have easily tailored one right at home! Ah, but, of course, it wouldn't have been the same. The Yiruians had something special. The way they weaved their clothing, the materials used. It was something that was passed on by generation, a secret skill that only the Yiruians had the potential to know. And once obtained, Mr. Alfred Rogers would wear the cloak until the day he died.
Literally.
One day--there were always those "one day"s--he was summoned by an unknown gentleman, Mrs. Lulu Rogers had accounted. The missus and mister exchanged sweet nothings for what would be the last of salutations and farewells. She explicitly remembered him turning around the corner, and the last part she saw was his cloak, before turning back into the house and tending to her chores.
When he didn't come back by twilight, this worried her, a maid would tell officials.
Several days later, a beat up cloak was discovered from the woods, but yet, no body was found. It was immediately brought to Lulu Rogers, for this cloak would be the closest and one of the only reminders of her late husband.

Lulu cried and cried, grasping the torn and worn cloak close to her. "I can still feel his presence," She gasped between her breaths, "It feels so warm..."
She lightly touched the tattered ends of the cloak, not noticing the blackness that was beginning to form.

Lulu Rogers -- #b51215 Age 21 ;; Born and raised in West Yirui when she finally relocated to Gadu (Imisus) at the age of 17.Personality Lulu is used to getting what she wants, and is rather manipulative. She's known to throw tantrums or be extremely uncooperative when things aren't perfect in her eyes, or if around those who oppose her. Lulu likes having fun, but her definition of fun is when everyone else follows exactly everything she tells them to do and when she's number one. Lulu is intrigued by the game of "Chess" and would love to one day learn how to play. While she is supposed to be a "woman", she is in fact, still quite a child. Her mother has always taught her to be the one who used others, rather than vice versa. A "femme fatale."
Lulu pretends to be a modest and shy Asian when with men she is trying to make an impression on because she wants their moolah and stuff. Although many men think that they're taking advantage of her, they realize way too late (by the time they're broke) that it was, in fact, the other way around. Believing in always moving forward, Lulu does whatever it takes for her to have the best lifestyle she can ever provide for herself, and moving to Gadu brought her one step closer to her goal. She is rather fickle, known to simply trash the things (or beings) that she no longer requires and constantly looks for change. She tries her best to not be tied down to the past, but lately she's been haunted by it. Otherwise, Lulu looks one way and one way only--toward the future and what better opportunities that may find her. Lulu loves loves loves being the center of attention, she wouldn't want to be in the room if she wasn't.
As per request by a Mr. Alfred Rogers, the private Panymese tutor of Mrs. Lulu Rogers had kept an account of each session, as he "wanted to see the progress" of his dear wife. Though the late Mr. Rogers had kept most of the logs safe somewhere, there were a few that the tutor had not given him, and are now in the hands of the missus.Quote:
April 4th, 1405 Mrs. Rogers appears to be a rather meek young lady. Her Panymese is basic, not comprehending much from what I'm saying, but still capable of learning more--as anyone always is. And so, it was an...interesting first meeting, though not much was done. She is very quiet, though time, I suspect, will bring forth a hidden courage that lies beneath this seemingly fragile girl.
May 1st, 1405 Mrs. Rogers, once again, has not spoken a word, unless spoken to. She hides behind her eyes, never never once meeting my face. I almost wonder if she really wants to be here, or if she's just here under some...other circumstances. There's something in her eyes, that one.
June 15th, 1405 For once, our daily salutations were reversed. Mrs. Rogers has spoken up to me. She brought up the weather. Progress.
July 20th, 1406 Mrs. Rogers had trouble pronouncing a word today. With her accent, certain words that had the letters "r" and "l" were difficult for her. She got frustrated, and I was, for the first time, excused early today.
August 1st, 1407 She must have been reading up on the news. Some ridiculous claims escaped her lips today--something related to death and decay. Ah, but news of the plague has been spreading...perhaps she is worried for her family. But then again, contact with Yirui has been cut off for several years now.
January 12th, 1408 Today, Mrs. Rogers got angry, once again. It was quite intimidating and even though she was small in frame, it was most definitely noticeable that she wasn't afraid to speak harshly to those who were against her--or maybe she is just condescending. Her Panymese skills are improving rapidly. And to be honest, it scares me.
March 25th, 1409 Mrs. Rogers began to look weary of my teaching credentials. She is confident with her voice, but her diction is awkward. When I told her that she was not ready to move on from today's lesson, she, once again, excused me for the day.
December 29th, 1409 Mrs. Rogers asked if I had knowledge about "status", but I'm sure she meant something along the lines of "reputation." It was an interesting and unexpected discussion. It took a turn for a heated exchange of words, especially when you came up. ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓
This part of the entry was visibly marked off.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ History Before she was given the name Lulu, she was Liu. Born in a remote village off on the coast of West Yirui, she lived with her family of seven, which included her immediate family and her grandma (and not to mention an aunt), and worked as a host at the family shop. Located on a port city, it attracted many travelers who wanted a quick rest. Although Liu was the oldest child of the family, she was still, in fact, a woman. Eye candy. To be married off and create income in other...traditional ways. Therefore, it was decided that inheritance of the store was to go to her brother, who was twelve at the time.
One day a young, proud man stepped into this mysterious shop that seemed to be populated with just as mysterious men. He carried on his shoulders a dignified-looking cape of sorts, and it caught the attention of Liu. "Appearance," her mother always told her, "means everything." And when she saw him, she decided to sedu--I mean, she fell in love at first sight. And he unfortunately did too! They saw each other throughout the entire duration of his visit and exchanged small talk. But, nonetheless, they enjoyed each others' company.
At the time, she was betrothed to a herbalist, who her parents only accepted due to his...herbs. Besides that, he was poor--utterly poor. And that was simply unacceptable. "We are supposed to move forward," mother dearest always said. "Marry for pride, name, and money. Especially money." Liu just wanted to move even further. Finding the right moment, Liu finally told her love of the arranged marriage that was to occur in a couple of weeks and planted in his mind the idea of a wonderful escape. The two would talk long walks, discussing the exciting and magical adventures they'd share together.
With that, Liu and Mr. Rogers hopped on a boat and safely made their way to Gadu, his hometown. Since Liu's Panymese was horrendous, the sire arranged for a private tutor immediately and was able to convince her to be called "Lulu"--a much easier pronunciation for the Panymese than Liu. For a while, things seemed pleasant. And still pleasant. He introduced her to a lifestyle that she couldn't have dreamed of otherwise--and even took her to church. He told her it was necessary for some sort of salvation. She went along with it.
When, suddenly! News spread out that Mr. Rogers had died in a tragic accident. A tragic accident, indeed. To this day, the widow of Mr. Rogers continues to utilize her inheritance as compensation for the devastating loss. Her private tutor still comes by every weekend to continue their lessons--whether they be Panymese-related or not..------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Appearance Lulu is rather petite for the average woman staying in Gadu--and usually dresses very fancily. She stands at 5"1. A very oriental woman, she fancies brighter colors rather than colors that wash away her complexion. She usually ties her hair up, but occasionally lets it down. Lulu isn't afraid to use her body lure in men, and is very comfortable with showing more skin than the average woman--such as showing her arms and legs on occasion. She has thick black hair and brown eyes. She is known to wear make up that accentuates her lips and pales her skin even more on special occasions. || Gallery

██ An interesting fellow who knows how to impress a woman--if she was looking to be impressed upon. Perhaps I would have been impressed with him...if he didn't disappear on me. But, alas. I haven't seen him since our first meeting. I don't ponder on his disappearance much, but there have been times my mind wanders.
The Flower & Felicity
██ A delight, if I may say so myself. Or, at least, her partner is. The woman herself seems to lack the ability to make decisions for herself. I wouldn't mind seeing these two again.
The Icicle & Basil
██ There's something about this man that intrigues me. Perhaps it's that familiar gleam in his eye--as if I've seen him somewhere before. He also is incredibly helpful in providing me with resources, and therefore, I must have a key to his bookstore.

██ Septimus was so nice to me! I don't know where I would be now if it wasn't for him and Earl.
The Nutcracker & Ellies
██ Why this grown man carries around such a child's toy is something that will forever be unknown to me. At the same time...how he possesses such a fascinating arm is also unknown for me, but despite that, he shouldn't waste his time delving into the past.
The Pumpkin & Toshua
██ A cocky boy for his age, but I believe it's a favorable trait. Reminds me too much of Wei for my liking, so it's somewhat uncomfortable being around him.
The Teapot & Georgio
██ This...pretty little teapot is very lucky to have a companion such as Earl! He is wonderfully kind, and I do hope to see the both of them again.

All of Lulu's stunteds have somehow found their way to her on various times of the year. They are all mostly utilized as Peony's playthings, or run small errands for Lulu in the labs. If you would like your characters to interact with any of Lulu's stunteds if Peony or Lulu are not available, please feel free to do so!  Wilted Leaf: Harper is a shy girl who wants to mix in well with the rest of the crowd. She tends to stick close with Peony, for she was her first acquaintance, and they are both similar in personality. Harper is easily scared, and does not like loud disturbances. She enjoys playing with Peony and looks up to her, even though Peony is smaller in size. Harper is easy-going, and doesn't want to cause any problems, going along with whatever her company wants to do or what they want her to do. She thinks Lulu is quite intimidating, but the way Peony describes their mama makes Lulu seem sweet. Lulu found Harper one day when she was out on a walk to the bear garden. While Lulu didn't want the little creature at first, she decided to keep the strange-looking bundle of leaves for it had the potential to be useful for the future.Green Leaf: Raoulin is Henri's partner in crime. They both joined the family at the same time. Red Leaf: Henri is Raoulin's partner in crime. They both joined the family at the same time. Navy Ornament: William joined the troupe on a lonely winter night. Cyan Ornament: Known as Pip, this young boy of an ornament tries to act like , who he clings to for protection and looks up to as a hero. It is, then, rather unfortunate for William, who is not as courageous as Pip finds him to be. Black Mistletoe: A charming young fellow by the name of Giovanni, who firmly believes that he is to be a master fencer, wants to travel the world to find his "brotherhood" of fencers. He often makes random exclamations and is very passionate about fencing. It often comes up with conversations when it comes to Giovanni--actually, he doesn't talk about anything else, really. He also firmly believes that Peony is his damsel in his distress, and always tries to find ways to protect...but ends up potentially putting her in harm's way. Lulu tries her best to separate the two. He tried to get along with Raoul and Henri, but the duo are being tough on him. Chess Pieces: Two rival families. Lulu was always fascinated with chess and discovered this set in a shop one day. Ship in a Bottle: He was once a gift, but was abandoned in the streets of Rosstead. Miss Potts gave Lulu him as a "home welcoming" gift when Lulu momentarily took refuge in the small town.OwlThe Owl is a very happy excito.CornucopiaMs. Corn takes care of Peony when Lulu is not around the house.Three Red Cats: This trio Candle Duo +1 : Two unlikely candles and a red candle join forces!Sugar Duo : Two cubes of sugarTeacup Duo : Two teacups that Lulu discovered when she returned to Gadu. Lulu was desperate to find new tableware for her unattractive house and bought two teacups for herself. However, they turned out to be stunteds...
