Perhaps to emulate the lookout on top of the Tower of Rebirth, one tower on the Guild Exchange soars far higher than the others. Though not nearly as tall as the Tower of rebirth, the staircase winding up to the small circular room at the top seems to go on for an infinity. Once reaching the tower, the staircase opens up in the middle of the circular room. The ceiling is a large glass dome, allowing one a view of the surrounding areas normally not possible for land-locked creatures.

There is a large telescope used for viewing the stars, guarded by a Noctowl who almost seems to live here; no one's seen him anywhere else. If you want to use the telescope, you need his permission.

Ivy

"Heeeyyyy." Ivy stopped short of exiting the exchange to peer into the open doors of the observatory and the towering staircase that led to the actual observatory with it's telescopes and such.
"I wanna see~" The small Ice type declared and with little warning went dashing to the stairs and up the steps.
After skipping along for a moment without her companion, she placed her paws on the banister and glanced back down to the door.
"C'mon Ver! Last one there's a Slowpoke!"
The exciteable Glaceon turned around, her tail whipping behind her like a flag as she bounded onward to her destination.
She wanted to see the stars and she'd be damned if something as miniscule as 'it's daytime' get in her way. She was as stubborn as her mother if not moreso.

Ver

Ver followed the little Glaceon rather absent-mindedly. He knew his way around only so well and nearly crashed into her when she suddenly stopped and changed her mind.
He stared at her as she took off. Still for a moment until she spoke again. His ears stood before he finally smiled and took off after her, bounding up multiple steps at once in order to catch up.
Sadly, it was more exhausting that way, but he had to at least catch up. Ver looked up, his head turning to catch a glimpse of the winding stairs... This would take a while. Upon getting close to her side, he took a solid jump over the Glaceon and continued to bound upward with little hesitation. "You were saying?" He glanced down for a split second, his breathing getting harder now, being all about short term sprints and bounding about obstacles.
Wild dog my a**. He had to get out more. Joining the guilds didn't help him much... He had the tolerance of a smoker.

Ivy

The Glaceon gave a haughty pout as he easily passed her, more annoyed he had jumped over her and further pointed out how small she was than anything.
Ivy increased her speed, keeping pace with the Flareon as he lost his intertia and gave a sly giggle as he struggled to keep moving at the same rate he was going now. Her tongue flicked out and she wiggled it at him mockingly before sprinting forward and leaving him in her metaphorical dust.
"Slowpoke, slowpoke~" She sang, her voice echoing out the higher they got into the tower.

Ver

Ver slowed drastically. The provoking kept him sprinting though for how long was questionable. "This... This isn't fair." He whined through his panting. If Ivy were Sai right now, the Flareon would be in too much trouble. She'd have his a** running for miles. Even though she herself can't do much of anything.
By the time the tower's floor evened out and Ver finally made it off the stairs, his legs wobbled slightly.
Never. Again.
"You win... you win." He gave up long ago. Now his insides burned and he only had so much feeling in his legs.
His vision was a bit blurry too. How out of shape was he, exactly? Ver's eyes narrowed, refocusing as he looked around... He refused to move just yet. He didn't think he could.

Ivy

Ivy spun around, victorious, and faced the wobbly Flareon at the end of the stairs with her tail crooked behind her in the shape of a question mark.
Her smug smile was replaced with concern at the sudden heaving of his sides as he breathed deeply.
Taking a few pawsteps forward she frowned, head cocked to the side.
"You okay, Ver?" She asked, high voice even more pitched in a fearful tone.
The Glaceon sat directly in front of him, waiting patiently for a response that would assure her that, yes he was okay, and she hadn't run her new friend ragged.

Ver

Ver took a deep breath, evening his panting before slowly looking at Ivy. It's cool. He's fine, don't make yourself look bad now, Ver. "Yeah. I'm fine. Just not used to running so much." He stood straight and smiled before stepping forward. He staggered his first step, but caught himself, played it off, and continued on his way around Ivy; his steps evening out. "This place is pretty big." Ver looked up at the glass top, changing the subject quickly. His eyes narrowed due to the sun's glare, but the glass covering made it feel so much warmer and closer. When he looked back down, Ver walked over to the side and looked out. The telescope itself was ignored entirely as of yet. This perspective alone was far more interesting.

The Glaceon smile, pleased he wasn't hurt or anything. She had been told she was hyper as hell and needed to calm down, but she never listened. Well, she'd be more careful with Ver. He clearly couldn't keep up with her. While he gazed around at the windows and various shelves, she directed her attention to the large telescope in the room's center. That was what she'd come here for! Her eyes widened as she stepped up to the end where one placed their eyes to view the sky.
Not noticing the Noctowl perched nearby she jumped in alarm when he hooted at her.
"Want to look? Since it's day time the stars are hard to see..." Raising his wings he adjusted some nobs in a very professional manner. Ivy had no clue what any of it did, or what connected to what, but this flying type seemed to so she waited patiently as he did his job.
Her tail wagged when he motioned to the telescope once more and she pressed her face to the end, her eyes peering down into the reflective glass.
"Oooh~" She squeaked in delight, raising a paw to wave Ver over without lifting her gaze from the telescope. "I can see them!"
Granted the stars looked like broken little pieces of foggy glass, but all the same they were pretty.

The Flareon's attention was still directed outside when Ivy began to approach the telescope. He was a bit dazed. It made him remember climbing. His head slowly tilted off to the side until his ears twitched at the sound of the Noctowl and he quickly glanced over his shoulder, observing Ivy waiting as it set up the telescope. The Flareon turned then and sat down, smiling as Ivy approached and looked out. Ver wasn't sure how much she could really see... the sun was still high and bright, though her sudden call out to him forced his expression to change into one of curiosity. Maybe she could see?
Ver began to approach, though slowly. His body didn't feel completely down to earth yet. When he made it to her side, he looked off outside again. "Can you really see anything?" Clearly...? He blinked before finally looking through the telescope himself seconds later. He went silent then, one of his mismatched eyes closing instinctively as he sharpened his vision. He could see though. It wasn't too clear, but he could. ... It was nice.
Ver smiled. "Hey, you're right." The fact that there were different sizes scattered about is what mainly got his attention. It made space look so much less boring. After a few seconds, Ver moved away from the telescope, allowing Ivy to view again. He blinked his eyes hard once or twice before looking off through the glass again. The view changed entirely. It was strange. "I can see why you wanted to come up here." He sounded thoughtful, being rather interested himself.

"I like stars..." The Glaceon replied, her eyes wide with delight and she glanced up to the glass dome ceiling overhead. She starred that way for a minute before dropping her golden gaze back to the Flareon's heterochromatic one. "The Eclipse family tends to have themed names, I learned about stars and planets that way. Great Grandfather and his mate are constellations, their children are planets. My mother was a contellation as well, though I don't think Uncle Solaris is one. It just matched 'Selena' I suppose."The tiny Icy type padded away slowly to scan the bookshelves though without much interest to the books themselves. Her eyes were drawn to the titles for the most part, declarations of their contents that would decide whether they held anything inside that she'd like.
Finding nothing to amuse her she faced Ver again with a small smile and a flick of her tail.
"I'm sorry for dragging you here, where would you like to go now?" This place must be boring to him. He seemed more...action-y than anything.
Though, the staircase incedent pointed against that.

Ver smiled, watching the small Glaceon begin to walk about and talk outwardly. Come to think of it, a lot of the family did have astronomy-like names-- or at least those he's heard of so far. ... Why not Ivy though? His head tilted at the thought. Well... Then again, she said Solaris wasn't either so it could have been nothing. The Flareon shrugged it off as Ivy then faced him. "It's fine. I had fun." He walked back over to her, his eyes too now taking a quick glance around. "Well... I'm up for anything really. It's not that late in the day, is it?" Think Ver-- Ivy said she didn't get out much. There must have been something interesting...
The Flareon's tail flicked behind him, then fell still as if in gesture of his mind searching ideas and locations... There was a pool, right? "Can you swim?"
