Personality: Nhyt is a timid soul. He often wonders what his creator was thinking when he made him, and why.

Nhyt is a blend of beast and man. As such, he has a few animal-like tendencies, such as - eating like a completely uncivilized beast (digging in, getting messy, making noise, and so on) and walking on all fours, rather Tarzan-esque. He is also highly territorial, but his more timid nature keeps him from really...doing anything, other than stalking you the entire time you are in 'his' space, and silently pleading that you would kindly gtfo. This extends to his stuff. If you are so much as borrowing his pencil he is going to be all but hovering over you till you are done.

His defining personality trait, is his timidness. He is always placing himself at the bottom of his mental hierarchy, seldom speaking out when he has something to say, or asserting himself in any way. It is easy to just simply walk all over him. He really doesn't do much to stand up for himself. Maybe his creator used parts from the Cowardly Lion by mistake..who knows!?

He often times seems like a bundle of nerves. It's not uncommon for him to jump at the slightest of sudden noises, or apologize profusely for small things like simply brushing against you in the hall way. He is afraid of making people mad. It probably doesn't help that he thinks lowly of himself, either.

Nhyt really just wants to find his niche, where and what he is supposed to be. He has no clue where to begin though, and he is very hesitant to try new things, so he kind of undermines himself in that aspect. He needs lots of encouragement, and then support and praise if he does well to ever try anything new.

Virtues: Humble, Grounded.
Flaws: Timid, Self-defeating, Neurotic


Hobbies: Candle-making. Nhyt tried it once after much encouragement, and found it enjoyable. He likes the colors and scents that go in to creating them, and the smiles and thanks he sometimes gets from giving them to people who'll use them. If you need a special candle made for a spell, he'd be more than happy to make it for you. He is, after all, very humble and to think that anyone would come to him for anything is an absolute honor!
He doesn't have any real affinity to candles aside from making them, though, and a lit candle is only enjoyed by Nhyt when at a safe distance. Like another room.


Physical Traits: Tall, lanky, stitched together from 3 men, a werelion, and a ram.


Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Ah, the things a hormonal mad scientist-lady will do to create her vision of the perfect man (A-la Coin Operated Boy.) Of course, her vision also included a friggen backbone and confidence! scream So she sent him away to gain those things that she couldn't provide as well as to learn to cause fear, rather than to be afraid. And meanwhile his creator thinks of more ways to turn her creation in to the best of man and beast.


FEAR: Extending Claws - Nhyt's nails grow about a foot long, and fairly hard, so be prepared for a nasty scratch if you're not fast enough to dodge. Still, his 'claws' can be broken like any fingernail, albeit not quite[/t] as fragile as a human nail. It's not something that lasts long, and it has to be triggered by rage or desperation right now. As he learns, he'll gain better control over his FEAR.

Natural Ability: Interchangeable limbs: Patchworks can function with their limbs interchanged, heads popped off, so on so forth. Their soul is bound to their patched up body by a strong magic.


Physical Description:

Eye Colour: one eye is a golden lion eye, the other is a vibrant blue human eye.
Hair Colour/Style: long, parted to the side, and super dark brown.
Skin Colour: It varies between three different skin tones (A pale, vain-y and bruised one, a pinkish, freckled one, and a sickly one,) and a golden werelion (with faint spots?) Dark around his human eye, lips, and nails.
Clothing Style/Colours: Goth with some victorian-esque ruffles, some zippers and belts. The ruffles would be discolored and tattered.

Extra: Most of all, I want the artist to have fun with him. In future 'years' though I hope to add more animal traits, such as ears, and maybe a tail, maybe one hand is exchanged for a more monster-y, claw-like, one.

Monster-Creator Relationship
Nhyt was made to be his creator's perfect man. Said creator just happens to be a young female who, aside from being a little off her rocker, just so happens to have never really gotten over the 12-14 year old mentality of animal-people and pretty boys being 'so totally hot' and since she couldn't find one that would be her boyfriend (and really, who would want to!?) she decided to make her one. However, she also wanted that angst-ridden bad-boy. And she didn't get that. So she sent him away to learn.
Nhyt really, really, I mean...really doesn't want to be her boyfriend. I mean,...she's his creator. His mother, in essence. And he, my friends, has NO Oedipus complex, let me tell you. At the same time though, he tries to work hard to meet the expectations his creator set for him. Even if she does creep him out.

I am seconding the "there isn't much left to crit" sentiment. And given the wide variety of students there are, Nhyt is bound to find that one friend biggrin How does he act around characters of authority, though? Like teachers and the alpha-type students? How does he react to others flirting with him (because, again, variety of students, there will be that one ghould who would think he's dreamy)?

*tweaks stuff* mmm, seeing about getting back into things...

Yo! Just giving the heads up that you may just have to make his subclass be a straight up grim reaper. My reaper, Shun, originally had the shinigami subclass but since it's pretty much just... an asian grim reaper that wasn't really enough to deviate into a new subclass. In the case of Shun, 'shinigami' is more of a job his family had always done rather than his subclass, which would be the reason for his deviation in natural ability.

Perhaps you would have greater luck with it, but it's just something to keep in mind.

Generally I like him! I only had two real thoughts that jumped out at me while reading.

Firstly, not a change, just a reminder that Undead according to the general race-rules are super weak against fire. Most undead are terrified of it. You might not change the fact he likes candle making, but it's something to consider since he is a patchwork, and could possibly be a form of his own quiet bravery manifesting in a "safe" way?

Secondly, his fear power- I feel like there's more potential in his Lion parts for a fear power than an illusion. I never really felt Patchworks were capable of magic and illusions. My own patchwork character has some monster parts as well, I made his fear power simple- his monster arm grows sharp spikes and scales to up his killing blow/defense. A Fear Power is like a "Special finishing attack", something that will probably only be used once in a rare while and more than likely at the end of a fight. His lion parts could give him a boost of speed to up his blow, or he could unsheathe claws, or maybe even be able to give a lionesque roar that stuns or something? The ability to create illusions didn't seem very justified by his species and make-up if you know what I mean? I do think the lion parts hold really good potential for various Fear Power tactics though!

Otherwise he seems really fun! I love "patchworked chimeras". smile I'd love to have my dude meet him sometime, he gets especially self conscious around "Hot" patchworks. XD
