People are always afraid of what's different, and will always be -centric to their own culture or people. This is true of all countries, nations, and civilizations, without fail, since the inception of human civilization as we know it.

This is true of all countries, nations, and civilizations, without fail, since the inception of human civilization as we know it. Hopefully, I think, the internet is changing that. Well, until it all gets taken away. The best form of control over the people is to separate and block apart the masses. This is what the media is for, "God damn *insert race/country/type of people here that did something bad on the "news"*!".
But with the internet, those types of barriers are going away. So obviously there's only one thing the governments would like to control better than anything else: The internet. Where only people from your own country can post, or you can't use it all together if they think you're doing something "illegal".

This person has obviously never been to 4chan. The Internet Hate Machine is as strong as ever, and it hates everyone equally. Well, except for gays, blacks, and arabs. They get extra hate. The Internet has allowed all the hatred and prejudice of all the nations of the world to come together into one place. I don't think it's really made anyone more tolerant or understanding. Only liberal guilt can do that.

The internet can help in changing minds, but the dent in the general population is insignificant (who uses the internet for educational purposes anyways?! very few) The color of our skin really does not matter, each soul is equal. It's our upbringing (family love and culture) environment (from education to how rich your parents were) and opportunities that make us different from each another. Just think, what if your soul was born from the body of an impoverished African woman who scavenged the local garbage dump for food and who's home was nothing more than a shack? I don't think it would even be possible to get out of a situation like that. I'm forever thankful I was born into a 1st world country with 2 loving parents.

Statistics have shown time and again that the color of your skin does matter, among other things. The philosophical debate of whether we're born equal or all have equal rights has nothing to do with the reality. People are assholes and they will use any difference to keep someone down.

The Internet has allowed all the hatred and prejudice of all the nations of the world to come together into one place. I don't think it's really made anyone more tolerant or understanding. Only liberal guilt can do that. I've been to 4chan. Used to spend quite a lot of time in /x/ a long time back to be honest with you. *cough* Anyhoo. There's racism, yes. But that's actually a smaller part of the whole than you'd like to think. And a lot of the "racism" is not really "true" racism, but rather just jokes at their expense.
I disagree though. I believe the "hate" is a relatively small part of the whole internet. You try that racist s**t on facebook, or Gaia, etc. and people will be like "Damn, ******** racist." But maybe that's because all of it is a facade? Well, it's a working facade anyway, at least on the "overview" of society.
By chance have you seen the Gaia International forum? People of all races and ethnicities coming together over there. Sure it's a part of forum "rules" to stay civil, but eventually that "civility" becomes ingrain into the membrane if you know what I mean, and then you feel bad about it. People can be programmed by society, or a combination of their self and society. I prefer option 2, so I'm not "racist" and I don't hate on things I don't know.
Scientology isn't a race. Lol It's a proven cult that charges money for spirituality. I wasn't for any of the stupid protests, though, actually. I left 4chan after that retarded stunt. (Also because of the retarded memes that got way too old. Yeesh. Like, seriously, don't people get tired of that s**t?) What's the difference between scientology or yoga classes then? You have to pay for both. The only difference is, though, I think the price goes up as you go "up" in Scientology.? I've read the original book on it before a little (I got bored the 2nd chapter in), and actually, if you take the stories as just metaphors, like some people say you're supposed to do with the bible, it isn't complete nonsense but actually a little bit enlightening.
Rules 1 & 2 are dead, but they were originally just for raids or other bad s**t.

I don't believe in equality for two reasons. 1. if you make someone equal to another person, you have two people right? Then double that and you have four, and on and on till you have a unit value of human beings, all equal. In a community of equal people, you can get something called Tyranny of the Majority. So if you have 300 million people in a country, the vote of just one person, mister 150,000,001, can cause the execution of the remaining 149,999,999 people, creating genocide. Hitler was voted into power, Mao was a populist leader, and Stalin didn't gather power because people disagreed with him. When you think about it, when you start equating value on that which should be without measure - human potential, then you run into some serious ethical problems, like 'the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few'. What if the many are assholes? What if they are cannibal rapists? 2. Human beings aren't equal - they are different. For example, African body types can run longer distances and Caucasian and Asian body types are built for swimming. Spammy Indian Report

Most of /b/ is Atheist anyway. They wont find us here, so we'll let it slide. cool

For all, many and few, are equal in each other in all ways. This only makes the world boring, not in threat except for when one person tries to be unique and ends up making everyone as unique as him/her. Then the only way to end it all would be for everyone to die equally. Also African body types are built for swimming too. Certain parts of African are running...like Kenya. But if they are near water, they are adapted for it.

You guys know there's plenty of racism that doesn't exist in blatant forms of harsh words and generalizing categorizations, right?
I mean minorities know this... but we always get looked at crazy when we point it out. Because for some reason if it isn't the "in your face" racism then the archetype white christian middle class males are content to swim in denial until they drown.
