D I M I T R I • L E O N • K O V A KfillerTHE ADOPTED PRINCE xoxSOME BASIC INFORMATIONxoxoxYOU CAN'T STEP IN THE SAME RIVER TWICE
full name : Dimitri Leon Kovak nickname : Dmitri stage : - - - - gender : male sexuality : too young to understand, but he's gay. home city : DuremxoxTHE BACKGROUND DETAILSxoxoxTHE WATER'S ALWAYS CHANGING, ALWAYS FLOWINGfillerfillerBIOGRAPHY [updated as s**t happens] Dimitri doesn't really know where he came from. All he knows is that one night, he was deposited into the care of one Viktor Kovak, who wasn't exactly happy about this. There was a bunch of arguing, demands that the strange twins take this kid back; and it was very, very obvious that Viktor did not want him. Whether he wants him or not now, Dimitri is very fixated on this fact. It is his first memory, and one he is not going to forget any time soon. Life with Viktor isn't horrible. They're well off, well provided for, and he's a very caring parent. He just, unfortunately, plays favorites. And it's not very well hidden. He does fairly well in school, though he spends a lot of it either running to girls, or from them. He would much rather staying away from them, but he can't help but go to them when they're in trouble. He's working on that. fillerfillerPERSONALITY Dimitri loves to explore, to discover, to be out on his own. Constantly sneaking out of the house, he is not one for rules, though he doesn't often get in trouble for it. Either he's just that good, or his dad is paying that little attention to him. He believes it to be the latter, and acts out to get his attention. He craves it, due to the fact that he believes (And, it's kind of true) that Katia gets most, if not all of, their father's attention. He likes to view himself as 'cool', though certainly not as a 'ladies man'. In fact, he can't stand girls. After a few moments with them, his head starts to go numb and he just wants to slip away. Problem is, he's terribly charming, and just can't help it. Except, of course, with his sister and cousin. Dimitri, like any boy, cannot stand to do anything 'girly', for fear it will reduce how manly he is. Not that he's very 'manly' to begin with, but girls have cooties, and he'll be damned if he gets them too. Determined and stubborn enough to be a Kovak, he actually fits right into their oddball family. His strange aversion to girls confuses him to no ends. Other kids his age are beginning to get crushes on them, or trying to play with them; meanwhile, he keeps his distance. He decided that it's because he's the only one who still remembers that they have cooties, but there's really another reason. Dimitri is not attracted to girls. He doesn't understand this, because he hasn't truly been introduced to the concept yet, but he much prefers boys; and not just as friends. xoxTHE LITTLE PIECESxoxoxBUT PEOPLE, I GUESS, CAN'T LIVE LIKE THAT

V I K T O R • B R O G H E • K O V A KfillerTHE BRICK s**t HOUSE FATHER xoxSOME BASIC INFORMATIONxoxoxLYRICS IN ALL CAPS HERE
full name : Viktor Broghe Kovak nickname : None age : 34 gender : male sexuality : straight home town : AekeaxoxTHE BACKGROUND DETAILSxoxoxLYRICS IN ALL CAPS HEREfillerfillerBIOGRAPHY Viktor was born to a fairly poor family in Aekea. His father was a factory worker, and he was raised to follow in his fathers' footsteps. As a child, he spent a lot of time outside; at least when he wasn't working, whether it be cleaning or cooking at home, or reaching into hard to reach places in the factory. He was ambitious, though, and as he grew older he found he wasn't happy with his position as a simple factory worker. He raised the money himself, and managed to go for a business degree in University. This is where he met Elisa. A history major at the same school, he often saw her at the library. With bright blue eyes and blonde hair, he found her stunningly beautiful, and often found himself at the library even when he didn't have work to do. As it turned out, she was an assistant there, so he didn't really have to worry about her not being there when he was. Needless to say, Elisa noticed the attentions of the large boy, though she stonily ignored them for at least a semester and a half. He was resiliant, however, and continued trying to woo her. Near the end of their first year, however, she softened, and began to speak to Viktor. He grew on her, and by the beginning of their second year, the two were nearly inseperable. Elisa came from a rather well to-do family, a contrast to Viktor's own, and it came as a shock that her father actually owned the company that Viktor's father worked for. He kept this information to himself, of course, and felt strangely ashamed of his family. He didn't tell her much about them, though she constantly pestered and asked about it. He didn't see much of her in the summer, though he was invited out to many events in her home on Gambino Island. He refused them all, working through the breaks to raise enough money to continue his studies. He was very careful with Elisa, as even he could tell that she was very frail, despite her fiery attitude and determination. An incident in their second year left him red-faced and furious, and this played a part in it. A party on campus had gotten wildly out of hand, and three boys had broken into the library and set fire to one of the sections. Being the only librarian on campus at the time, Elisa had rushed to the scene, calling the fire department and attacking the flames with an extinguisher herself. The drunken partyboys were having none of this, however, and took it away, holding her down to watch the library burn. Her weak lungs were not suited for the smoke filled air, and the boys were perhaps more rough than they would have been had they been sober. Viktor had been at the party himself, and when he saw the flames he rushed to the scene to find three of his classmates holding down his girlfriend, drunk and laughing about sexy librarians. He was not happy. The boys didn't know what hit them; it probably felt a bit like a freight train. But they weren't holding Elisa for long, and by the time the fire trucks came, they were all holding various, some broken, parts of their bodies. An ambulance had to be called for all of the boys, another for Elisa, and Viktor was in danger of expulsion. He didn't care, though. Elisa was in the hospital, hooked up to a breating apparatus. THAT was what Viktor cared about. He spent most of his time there, with Elisa; it was here that he met her parents. Her father was a kind man, not at all like Viktor had thought; and unbeknownst to Viktor, he knew who he was. Elisa's father knew Viktor's father, and from that, Viktor. But he didn't mention it, knowing the pride of Viktor's father, and assuming correctly that it had been passed down the family line. Elisa healed, and Viktor could finally turn his attentions to his own, other problems. A disciplinary hearing found him guilty of assault, though as opposed to expulsion, an alternative punishment was proposed. They would instead cut his scholarship from the school. This was just as bad as expulsion. Quite possibly, worse. Viktor had been relying heavily on scholarships to pay for schooling, and without them he would be forced to quit school. At least with expulsion, he could have held his head high, knowing he had done the right thing in beating Elisa's attackers to a pulp. This way, he was shamed, knowing that he was not someone who belonged here. Forced to admit that he fit in better along a factory line.
Elisa was distraught, and begged her father for assistance. Still carerful of Viktors' pride, he offered the boy a deal. Take his money to finish schooling, and once he was done, he would work for his company. Viktor, loathe to leave school in shame, accepted. He finished with top marks, quite possibly just to spite the school officials, and as promised went to work in his soon to be father in law's company. He proposed to Elisa, and they married, moving to Isle de Gambino to be closer to her family and the company. Things were going well for them. Viktor rose in the company, and it was quickly stated that he would inherit it when Elisa's father was no longer able to run it. Not only that, but Elisa was pregnant. The news was dampened by the fact that Elisa's health wasn't exactly the best. The doctors told her that pregnancy and birth might be too much for her to handle; but she would be damned if she let them tell her she couldn't have her baby. She went ahead with it, though pregnancy and birth were both rough. Her health, and and the health of their baby were both in question. Somehow, they both pulled through, and the family lived heathily for four years. Katia was a gem, brilliantly intelligent, and spoiled to pieces. They enrolled her in school when she was three, and found that she was horribly bored in Kindergarten. When she turned four, she was bumped up to first grade, then second. This, however, was when Elisa's health took a turn for the worse. She managed to hold on for four months, but inevitably passed away. Viktor could not handle it. He withdrew within himself, locking himself up in his study and bedroom for hours at a time. His brother Erik realized that he was in no condition to care for Katia, and sent his daughter, Kali, to help. She descended upon them like a bilzzard, giving Viktor no slack and no pity. He was furious, and for a while, hated her. He didn't want her in his house. But she stayed, and cared for Katia when Viktor was unable to. As stubborn as all of the Kovaks seem to be, she confronted him, and forced him to face the harsh reality that he was neglecting his child; the only thing left of his family. It turned into an explosive argument, but as the dust settled, Viktor returned to himself and Kali went home in under a year. Viktor took over Katia's schooling; in the time that he had been 'gone', she and Kali had decided that the school system was beneath her and started an assisted Home-Schooling program. He resumed work from home for his father in law's company, occasionally going in when needed. A year later, Elisa's father stepped down from his position, and Viktor took the company. Many disagreed with how he ran it, though it has become even more successful than it already was. As the value and business rose, the naysayers dropped away, though some are still furiously clinging to their expectations for failure. Just two yeras after she left, Kali returned to their home, with nowhere else to go. Her parents were feuding like children, and she knew it was not a good place to be right now. Even though she is, techically, old enough to care for herself, they were so focused on their own problems that they were neglecting her severely. Viktor was furious when he found out, and sent a very angry message to his brother, letting him know that when he knew how to care for a child, he could have his back. This message came in the form of a fist to the face, followed by a messy brawl at their grandfather's house. Axel didn't stop them. They haven't spoken to each other since; and Erik has made no attempt to get his daughter back fillerfillerPERSONALITY Viktor is a little rough around the edges, but lovable all the same. Outwardly, he maintains a stalwart appearance, but inside he is a great big, soft teddybear, something Katia knows very well. He is usually cheerful around those who know him, likes a good joke, and a good prank, something that saves Dimitri from trouble very often. However, since his wife's death, he has become more surly and more withdrawn from the world. Katia is one who can always cheer him up; and Kali is the one who takes the alcohol away from him. When angered, he is a violent man, preferring fists to words. This is one reason he does not fit in with the business world; as opposed to sending a well worded letter to an employee he was firing, he punched him in the face and threw him out the (first floor) window. He is also very, VERY protective of his remaining family; this is why he has such an extreme dislike for Lance. he does not trust easily, and is constantly suspicious of everyone. Especially people around Katia. She is the main focus of his protective shell, and though he tries not to do this, she is clearly his favorite child. Some would say he is easily manipulated, due to the stranglehold Katia has on him; He is wrapped around her little finger, and will do absolutely anything for him. In this case, they would be extremely right. Kali is also a weak point in his armor, though in any other case, Viktor is not so easily swayed. He is as hard-headed as his daughter, which was perhaps the only reason he was able to live with Elisa and her own stubborn determination. The stone-headedness seems to run in the Kovak family, as well as a sense of pride large enough to choke a horse. This is a very different thing than ego, though Viktor has one of those too.xoxTHE LITTLE PIECESxoxoxLYRICS IN ALL CAPS HERE

Viktor Luka both admires and respects Viktor. He wants to be like him when he's older, or now if he can have it. Tough, intelligent, and not someone people generally mess with. Someone people respect, and pay attention to. Unfortunately, he also occasionally dislikes Viktor. His father does not mistreat him, and gives him everything that Katia has. However, he clearly favors her; and for this, Dimitri is bitter.
Katia Katia is Dimitri's sister. What do you expect their relationship to be like? They argue and bicker and make fun of one another at every possible opportunity. Dimitri is jealous of her, because she is Viktor's obvious favorite, and thinks that she is a spoiled princess of a brat. However, should anyone else say it, he is quick to beat them up.
Kali Kali may not be his sister, but Dimitri certainly treats her as such. He regularily pranks and bothers her, despite the threat her magic poses. To him, it makes it a better challenge. However, he knows there is a line, and he won't cross it. He respects her, and will listen to her when the time truly calls for it.
Lance Dimitri hasn't quite met Lance yet, but he knows that Katia doesn't like him. He's seen him before, through windows and at the door to pick up Kali, and thinks he looks like the coolest guy he's ever seen.
Luka Dimitri and Luka are partners in crime. They regularily torment Katia and Kali, and sometimes Viktor too. However, Katia is Luka's host; and it's just one more situation in which someone favors her.
Balto Luka only found Balto recently, but he adores him; and he wants to keep him a secret. He's the only thing that is his, and not Katia's. And he'd like to keep it that way.
