I'm Quitting my Job after 2 years. For the main reason of my bosses are stuck up bitches that can't treat there employees with respect let alone there costumers.

On the plus side, Job hunting! yay biggrin

No matter how much you hate it, it's better to have a new job lined up before you quit. Losing cashflow is bad.

Either way, good hunting. 3nodding

You arent looking for retail in canada sweatdrop
I hope I'm not cursing her job hunt by saying this, but a lot of places around here are desperate for employees. Its a wealthy enough neighborhood that people are shopping as much as ever.

The managers where I work are forced to take regular till shifts most of the week, we don't have nearly enough employees to fill all our times.
To be honest, I don't see any effect of 'the recession' in my everyday life. Nothing has really changed ;p

Agreed Kitsy, It's pretty easy to find a job. They can't be to terribly picky because most places are understaffed. As long as I stay away from Popular clothing I'm fine :3 And I have 2 jobs... I'm only quitting one so I will still make money... just less of it ^-^;;

I haven't really noticed an impact on retail in Australia, but the graduate job market was definitely hit. A lot of my friends took a very long time to find jobs.
