does anyone else here ever find themselves feeding homosexual stereotypes in the real world? like, guys, do you ever find yourselves lisping occasionally? or chicks, do you cross-dress like dudes or anything? because i swear, i am despicably the definition of a stereotypical lesbian.
anyone else find the stereotypes suiting you more than you'd like?

I do dress like a dude. I have the short spiky hair and the guys shoes and pants and t-shirts. I get mistakened for a dude all the dang time.

I dress like a guy a lot, love jeans/cargos and my t-shirts/wifebeaters & hoodies. I used to have real short spikey hair until i got made to grow it for dancing, miss it so much at times, was so much easier to maintain (not that a ponytail is hard to maintain...) plus it never got in the way. Am defiantly the typical tomboy with my interests and habits as well.

I used to dress in mainly tees and jeans. But now I'm more feminine. And I have long hair that my mom won't let me cut til after my 15th birthday. :/ Lol. smile

I was voted "Most tomboyish" my senior year of High School for a reason. I don't even own any dresses, skirts, or heels and gag at the thought of wearing them. My most feminine clothing items are two RRCG shirts -- a lowcut tee and a zip-up hoodie tee -- I wear barrel racing. :p I'm constantly in jeans and a t-shirt or tank-top, and the /only/ shoes I own are my beat up pair of cowboy boots. My girlfriend tries very hard to get me to wear girlier jeans that show off my a** and is bound and determined to get me in a pair of tennis shoes. Doesn't say anything about my wearing either no underwear or boxer shorts, though. xD On top of all that... I'm allergic to most anything that says "perfume" in the ingredients, and so refuse to wear all makeup and perfumes. I drive a truck (Dodge 2500, Cummins engine. ) and know how to fix it. And I'd rather do farmwork than housework. My friends were actually surprised to discover that I had a crush, and exclaimed "That's so *girly*!" |D

I tend to go back and forth between looking like a girl and a guy... depending on my hair color. It's weird. When I have blond hair I look like a girl most of the time, and when I have darker hair I look like a guy most of the time. I don't wear dresses or skirts [I would die before I wear 'em willingly.] and I tend to shop in the boys' section, yes. I would definitely look more like a guy if I didn't have my -ehem- "chest area" to worry about.
Right now my hair is the longest it's been in years... so I don't look too much like a guy at the moment. I'm probably gonna cut it though... but not real short.
The stereotypical homosexuals are my favorite though. Just because they're not hiding it what-so-ever. When I tell people I'm a lesbian 99.9% of the time they say "Never woulda guessed."

I did something very stereotypical today: I wore a flannel shirt. I am just terrible. Altough it was quite comfortable and warm.

HAHA!!! So I actually do dress like a bloke.....even my Avi looks like a boy. I also have been awarded 'biggest tomboy' in my senior year of high school....
At the Ball this year (Prom as you Americans say it), one of my firends actually fainted because I wore a dress and had my hair done...for the first time in my high school life I looked like a chick...
I only own one dress - my summer school Uniform - and I don't ever wear this - I always wear our winter which is a kilt. Haha - my casual clothes are all from mens shops and my shoes are either chuck taylors, runnig shoes or gumboots. I'm also allergic to make up/perfume. I cut my hair after the ball and its now just longer than my brothers - his is a #2 hair cut. I often get mistaken for a 12 year old boy - I mean COME ON PEOPLE!!! I'M 17! Close to 18.....
I also do a combat sport - so if people take me on, I take them down.....not very femenine. I can drive anything with wheels, I skateboard, motor-X and work on the farm. I go hunting and fishing whenever I get the chance too......... Dad says my brother is more like a girl than I am.....which is probably true.

I used to dress like a guy before ... mostly black pants, white shirts and neckties heart yes I'm lame like that deal with it x3 ... but I don't do it much anymore ... now I dress in light girlish colors or at least try to do it and more sweet looking clothes ... main reason is that I can't look like a guy no matter how hard I try although I loved it

Ever since Jess came over to the States this summer, I've found myself wearing a LOT of black, dark grey, and silver for some reason. But I wouldn't say that I'm really a stereotypical lesbian or anything. I don't own a single dress or skirt, and the only shoes I own are tennis shoes. I absolutely refuse to use perfume or makeup and, for the most part, I couldn't are less about my hair and I despise the obsession dubbed "fashion". I can fix my own car up to a point, lift more than most guys, am very street smart and I can more than hold my own when in the midst of a fight. But I don't dress, talk, look, or act like a guy. *shrugs*
