The castle stood quiet. Almost perfectly so. Even those few pokemon that desired the more adventurous path the night laid for them had long since settled down into a deep rest. The lights that flooded the city had long since flickered into darkness, leaving the streets with only the company of the moon and a light, wispy breeze.
A single cry pierced the still night, it's echo spreading throughout the guild. The feverish sobs invaded the corner of every room, the ears of every creature. It acted as a chord. A quiet chord that sang one shrill, painful note; a reminder of everything that the castle's inhabitants despised. A reminder of everything they wished to forget.
Every creature with hidden fears and quiet anxieties would be in pain that night. A friend wracked with pain and a cold sweat would be seen by only the most innocent few. Their efforts would be useless, for their friends were facing far greater a foe than any could imagine...

 Solaris
"Ohh... My head..." Solaris's paws came up to rest on his forehead. A smooth, cool feeling greeted his outstretched fingers. He began to scratch frantically at his forehead, his normally straight-faced appearance creasing into a giddy smile. "My gem is back!" Solaris's body turned, his twin tails flexing to meet his gaze. His tail was back too and oh god where was he.
Solaris brushed aside the dull headache to look around. He sitting on what was once a no doubt grassy plain. It seemed to stretch on endlessly without detail or difference... as if one could walk onward only to find themselves returned. It was a dreary and sad place; whatever vestiges of joy and wildlife that had once pervaded the plain had long since died. The grass was withered, the ground was dry and cracked. The horizon stretched on endlessly without a tree or building in sight.
This did little to phase the optimistic Espeon. With his gem returned to him in prime condition, he could just teleport back. Solaris squeezed his eyes shut and focused on the image of his castle. "Nnggg..." No matter how Solaris focused, he couldn't seem to get the image right. This did little to dampen his spirits. "It's probably just the headache. I'll walk it off."
And so he marched. The hot sun beat down on him with each step. The heavy breeze of the plains offered little relief; it was if the air itself was hotter than the sun.
It wasn't long before Solaris saw a figure standing on the horizon. He ran towards it, only to have it disappear as he reached it. "Hey!" His neck craned, his body moving in circles to inspect the field. It wasn't the only one, he noticed. There were hundreds--thousands of them. Figures waltzed throughout the plains, taking no notice of the King.
Though he might try, Solaris couldn't speak to any of them. Those few that didn't disappear when he approached simply ignored his words. He mewled loudly in distress, a cry that went unnoticed by the thousands surrounding him.
His eyes moved over the plain carefully. Surely there was someone who had noticed him. Someone who could tell him what was going on...?
He noticed a small little ball of flame. He couldn't know for sure from this far, but there was only one person in the kingdom who burned like that...
"Aunt Venus!" Solaris's eyes darted from pokemon to pokemon; the small huddle of creatures. They were all people he knew! The Leafeon standing beside Venus had to be Uncle Pluto. That Scyther was definitely Tolin; his broken scythe couldn't belong to anyone else. Alfred, Minerva, Adonis, Bla...de... "Glacia? Father!?"
Solaris sprinted towards the crowd, only to be greeted by a yellow paw being jutted back into his eye.
         Blade---Alfred---Pluto---Minerva---Venus---Adonis---Glacia---Jupiter---Tolin
"I don't remember raising such a failure for a son." TolinTolin glanced around the fields. Pokemon could be seen in all directions, seemingly popping out of nowhere. Scores of half-transparent phantoms marched across the field, numbering in the thousands. He recognized most of the more solid pokemon--they were all members of the Guild of the Sun. " What's going on?" ((Much as Tolin, your characters are to "awaken" in the barren field described. Interact with each other, screw with the ghosts... do as your heart pleases.))

Kai & Luna & MandarinLuna awoke with a soft groan, and reached over, searching for Mitsu's soft, cool fur beside her. Her hand met empty air, and she sat bolt upright, wide awake. Her aqua eyes were glazed with horror. Where was she? She could feel her heart speed up, and she rose shakily to her feet. Dark silhouettes moved around her... like ghosts. What on earth was going on? Footsteps behind her gathered her attention, and she immediately spun to face the person, only to find Kai standing there, looking more than a little bit bewildered. "Where are we...?" Kai asked her quietly, his eyes glazed with fear and confusion. They echoed every emotion spinning through her mind, and it made her even more uneasy to know that he was stuck here as well... "I don't know, Kaiyou... I don't know..."
Mandarin awoke with a start, twisting around to look for her mate. "RAVEN! RAVEN, WHERE ARE YOU?!" She called, feeling panic set in. Was she alone? Where was she? She focused her energy to Teleport, but found her source of magic cut off. It was like someone had stuck a barrier there, preventing her from accessing her powers. She gritted her teeth angrily, and hurried off through the grass, calling Raven's name in hopes that he'd answer.

"Oh, I feel weird... Oh, where am I?" Verity blinked at the odd field around her. Her team members were beside her. "Hey, guys, are you okay?""Uh, yeah. Where are we?" asked Yuki in confusion. Suddenly, a Froslass appeared from Yuki and floated forward, a blank expression on its face. "Whoa! She just passed through me!" Verity gasped and stared after the Froslass. "She's... transparent..."Team Nikko stared at the Froslass as she suddenly vanished. "Okay that's creepy." "Talk about it."

Morana && Crescendo && ChaseCrescendo yawned, stretched out to his full length. His eyes shot open, warily scanning the land around him. Curling up defensively, he raised his head, eyes wide as he took in the barren landscape and the ghosts milling about. This was definitely not the Team Room. He cried out in distress, looking around frantically for something, someone, familiar. He brought up a protective barrier around himself, and huddled fearfully under it. What was going on? After a little while, Crecendo's head peered up from the coil he had curled up into at the sound of a voice, someone repeatedly calling out for "Raven". He looked over fearfully, and soon saw the Gardevoir with a dark orange dress. He hesitated only a moment before crying out, a single solemn, hopeful note. --- Morana scrambled to her feet as she felt the soft bed underneath her turn into dried, prickly grass and cracked mud. Eyes shooting open, she crouched in a defencive stance, looking around to figure out what had happened to her. She stared as a transparent Skarmory walked past, and then suddenly took to the air. The grass did not seem to be disturbed by the winds created by its flight, the ground beneath it showing no marks of where it had taken off from the ground. "Oh thank Arceus you're opaque." A voice sounded from behind her. Morana gave a startled cry and spun around, shooting a jet of fire. The blue Vulpix bristled but stood his ground, the fire absorbed by his fur harmlessly. "Calm down. I am a member of the Guild, as I assume you are as well. Let's stick together until we find out what is going on here."

~Jack ~Kyle ~Raven
"Kyah!" A familiar Lopunny awoke with a jolt, a look of utter fear on his face as a plethora of shadows waltzed around his upright and seated body without notice to him. There was an almost static look to the majority of them but thankfully more and more 'solid' ones were also becoming apparent in the vacinity, looking around with the same amount of confusion that he had. "Five more minutes..." A nearby sloth of a Flareon groaned, squirming for a few moments in his half asleep state before realizing he was no longer in his bed. Needless to say this sudden shock was enough to at least get him wide awake and panicking suddenly. Shouts of his name repetitively were enough to awaken a lone, sleeping Lucario. Groggyness taking the best of them though as he took a moment to get to his feet. It seemed however the voices weren't stopping their rampage and coming closer and closer. Soon enough at least it seemed Rin found her target as she trampled over the sprawled out Lucario in her panic. "Where are we?.." He groaned out, oblivious to what weight there barely was to the Gardevoir, though in the end he honestly didn't mind the view.

          Solaris-----Blade-----Alfred-----Pluto-----Minerva-----Venus-----Adonis-----Glacia-----Jupiter-----Tolin
The kick sent Solaris reeling. He landed half on his feet half on his behind. "Wha... What?" Jupiter's eyes narrowed as he looked down on his son. "You heard me. I didn't raise you to march your kingdom into endless, unnecessary strife. Your actions--your existence has caused nothing but pain to your family and your people." Solaris shrunk back from the declarations, his gaze turning to his wife. "Glacia...?"
His gaze was met by an indignant, vile stare. "Marrying you was a mistake. I knew you were an idiot when you proposed, but I didn't think you were this stupid. I'd hoped I could reign in that little failure you call a mind, but I suppose I was being optimistic."
Solaris stepped back, his eyes blinking furiously to fight back the tears. His gaze turned to the other members of the group. Each turned their head to him, each gave him a stare that screamed "You're worthless". They began to talk in unison, each voice strangely apparent above the rest.
"I only ever talked to you because I knew you couldn't deal with Alfred. I was afraid that you'd miss even the most obvious clues and lead the guild to it's destruction. I was right." "You don't even deserve the power I left you with. Your foolish actions have left the guild in ruin. Your idiocy got both your wife and Jasper killed--the only two people with any sense. You recklessly marched into a war and got countless others killed." "Your complete disregard for basic logic has served the enemies of the guild time and time again. Whether it was your sister's incessant attacks or the monsters that walked in through the front door, you've only served to further it's destruction." "It was a mistake ever letting you take the throne. Even when you were a baby it was plain to see you would be useless. That's why we fought to get your sister on the throne. You only inherited your place because of a ridiculous archaic rule. You were a mistake, Solaris." "I left the city because I had hoped it would be safe in your father and your uncle's hands. It turns out I was wrong. You've destroyed everything your grandfather fought to create." "I can't say I've known you very long, Solaris. But, my wife is right. Everything you've done since I met you has been an insult to the lineage you come from." "I only guarded you out of a sense of duty. You weren't worth the time or effort I put into saving you through the countless missions. We would have been better off if I had just let you die."
Tolin & PuerPuer walked around. He went through some ghosts. It was generally very strange for him. He found Tolin. " Hello" he said. " What the hell is going on?" he asked. Tolin didn't know. Then Cysic said "Hell if I have time for this, I have another post to write and plenty of character-specific responses to get to."

.::Stark & William::.Stark opened his eyes groggily, then jumped as he noticed his surroundings. This wasn't the Team Room- not even close. e glance about him, at the dead grass and ground about him. This wasn't right- not at all. He stood carefully, in case something might see him as threatening. Where was Luna? Was she lost in this desolation? A shade of panic gripped his heart. "Luna?" he called quietly. No response. "Luna?" He called louder. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore. "LUNA!! Luna, answer me!! Rem? Geisha? William? Someone! Anyone!! ANSWER ME!!" He listened closely for any sign of life. There was nothing- not even wind to stir the grass. He was alone. Completely alone. Suddenly, off to his left, there was a rustle in the grasses. Stark quickly flinched down into a ready crouch. He pondered the sound- had he really heard anything? He closed his eyes, paying close attention to his surroundings. The grass rustled again. And again. The sound slowly made its way toward him, until it was right on top of him. Suddenly, Stark sprang into action, tackling the source of the sound, pinning the Pokemon by its throat, raising a paw to strike- Right into William's face. Stark pulled back at the last moment, his claws an inch from the Luxio's face. The Luxio sat stock still, eyes intent on Stark's claws. "Arceus... remind me never to get on your bad side," he said shakily. Stark released his hold on Will's throat. "I thought you'd already figured that out," he said, backing away from William. The Luxio got unsteadily to his feet. "Well, yeah, but... still." William looked around the plains around them, concern etched on his face. "Any idea where we are?" he asked, looking queasier by the second. Stark shook his head. "No idea. Haven't seen anyone else here. This place feels..." "Dead?" finished William. Stark looked sharply at him, then nodded in resignation. Willam pondered for a moment. "So... what do we do?""We look," stated Stark simply, then turned around, looking out at the plain. He then started walking into the grass, determined to find life. William looked around uneasily, then moved to follow Stark into the waste.

Team Nikko heard talking, and turned to see the Guildmaster being taunted and tormented by a host of various phantoms. Verity's anger bubbled up at these ghosts as they threw their jibes and jeers at him. "Hey! Stop being so mean! What makes him deserve this?" yelled Verity, running up to be perpendicular to the whole group. A single thought burned in her mind- He doesn't deserve this treatment!

Kai & Luna & MandarinLuna crouched nervously next to Kaiyou, the Marshtomp also crouching, but lower. His eyes were closed and all you could hear was a faint, high-pitched humming as his sonar checked for others nearby. They couldn't see anything through the crowd of phantoms around them. "See anything?" The Marshtomp nodded sharply in reply, and darted off through the ghosts. Luna hurried to follow, not wanting to be left behind. "Solaris!" Luna sped up, stopping at Kaiyou's side as they came face to face with their Guildmaster. "Y-you're healed?!" The Marowak noted in astonishment. "You alright, Guildmaster?" The Marshtomp cut in, his voice a low and concerned growl. Both fell silent as the ghosts' voices reached them, and Luna let out a soft hiss of anger. "Traitors!" She snarled at the forms, leaping forward and swinging a Bone Club through Jupiter's stomach. Luna froze in horror, and stumbled back, seeming confused. She's just gone THROUGH the Jolteon's body... and nothing had happened. He was fine. "They're ghosts; we can't touch them." Came Kai's voice once more. Luna seemed alarmed. "Some of them are still alive, though... Alfred... He can see... What's going on?" The confused Marowak glanced at her teammate, and the Marshtomp shrugged. "I don't know... but we'll find out." He glanced at Solaris as he spoke, clearly expecting the Guildmaster to make his opinion heard.
Rin sighed with relief, her arms latching around the Lucario's neck. With her free hand, she motioned for the lone Milotic to come closer. "I'm Mandarin.... I'm real, don't worry..." She assured it quietly. She glanced back at her mate and sighed helplessly. "I can't Teleport us back home... Wherever we are... it's not normal."

~Jack ~Kyle ~Raven
"Hey, Solly! You suck a**!" Jack arose to his feet to note a crowd of bastardizing ghouls bringing his boss to the near brink of tears. Having never seen him at this point before he thought it best to may as well join in and see if he could get a laugh out of it. Kyle managed to get to his feet after the confusion wore off for the most part, contently hopping around straight through the figure-less bodies dotted everywhere as if it were some sort of game. This didn't last long though; he soon enough coming to rest after one of his jumps ended up accidentally directed at a solid figure. "OhArceusI'mSoSorry!" He pleaded to a yellow-ish Eevee before him after regaining his composure and checking her once over to see if she was alright. Raven, now upright, accepted his love's embrace, hardly as worried over the whole situation than she was. For the moment he simply remained curious of his surrounding and cautious of any sudden movements. Though he could not read aura very well under the circumstances, he knew something was up. "She alright over there?..." He asked his mate cautiously under his breath, noting to a lone Milotic whom he wasn't exactly the best with judging the gender of...

Morana && Crescendo && ChaseCrescendo took down his barrier, and slithered tentatively towards the Gardevoir who had just ran into a Lucario on the ground. He picked up speed when he realized they weren't see-through, and when he reached them, formed himself in a circle around the other two Pokemon, and erected another barrier. He was terrified of this place, his eyes constantly darting fearfully to the phantoms in the area. "...Home..." Was all that he managed to whimper. --- Morana walked side-by-side with Chase, nervously glancing around as the Vulpix constantly whispered reassuring words to her. He kept talking to keep her mind off their predicament and the ghosts, having learned already that they were harmless. He stopped suddenly as he saw a Dragonair soar up into the air a little distance off, and then shook his head, reminding himself firmly that it was not real. At least, he could not interact with them in any way. "Hey look- more people." Chase mumbled, pointing to a crowd in the distance. The two picked up speed, turning their trot into a full-out run when they saw the solidity of the Pokemon. Chase skidded to a stop near Solaris, recognizing the Guildmaster. He caught bits of the words directed at Solaris from the phantoms, and watched as one of the guildmembers attempted to attack it. Morana's eyes were wide, her ears flattened against her head at the harsh words. Even if they were not directed at her, the hate and spite in them made her cringe. Chase moved to the Guildmaster's side, waving a paw in front of his eyes, and then glanced at the phantoms of many important guild members, dead and alive. And then with an apologetic shrug, he grabbed Solly by the...tuft of fur coming out of the bottom of his ear... and pulled Solaris's head aside so that the Espeon was looking at the Vulpix's face instead of the phantoms. "Snap out of it. They're not real." Except Jack but he's a jerk.

.::Stark & William::.Stark walked along until he saw a group off in the distance. He turned back to William. "Will! There's someone up ahead!" Will started moving faster, moving alongside Stark. "Really? Yeah... Yeah! I see them too! Oh, thank Arceus, I thought I'd never see anyone else here."Stark nodded. "It's definitely something promising. Come on, let's go." He started trotting faster, Willaim moving alongside him, almost overtaking him. The two moved faster, until they arrived at the group. It was Solaris, and almost everyone else in the Guild of the Sun, including... Stark started, then took another glance. After once again confirming what he saw, he took another double-take. This... this was impossible. Impossible. William moved up alongside Stark, a puzzled look on his face. The face turned sour as he heard the voices. "Who... who are those people? Why are they saying such things to Solaris?"Stark shook his head. "I... those are people in the Guild of the Sun. Except... two of them..." Stark shook his head again. "The Jolteon... he's... Solaris' father. He's been dead for years. And the Delcatty... she was Solaris' wife."William flinched. "'Was...?'""She died a few months ago. When Teacher and the Guild of Rebirth attacked the guild."William's look was decidedly ill, now. "But... how are they--?""I don't know. But I'm going to find out." He moved toward the group, listening to the tirade from the group, actually flinching at some of the commentary- Willam staying behind, trying to shut out the comments.

Rosie and King A ralts and a geodude were sleeping in a large box in a plain. A gust of wind came by, imitating the sound of a ghost. it woke up the young ralts and she peered outside of the box to see what was happening. She gave out a small scream and dived back into the box. The geodude woke up and looked at the ralts. " What are you doing?" King asked the ralts. " There's.. there's ghosts outside!" Rosie replied back, trying to hide behind King. " No there's not.." King said back, not believing his friend. He glanced outside of the box and indeed saw the ghosts. "" What... GHOSTS!?" he wailed, rolling up into a ball to hide. " We need to do something, King. Come on, you're always living in your little fantasy world, would you like to save me from the evil ghosts? I know I can't handle them off with my psychic attacks. If only if I had some very strong and brave pokemon with me.." Rosie said, knowing he would change his mind. " Huh? What? You need saving? Let me lead the way!" King shouted, hopping out of the box, posing with his cape fluttering in the air behind him. Rosie just rolled her eyes and followed.

~ Armand~ Veronica~ Claudia~ A trio of pokemon from team Lunar Curtain woke up, all equally groggy, in the barren filled, now occupied by several pokemon. Armand was in quite a state of shock at his new surroundings, "Wha...what is this place? Of all the hundreds of books I read...I just..." To put it simply, Armand wasn't used to not knowing something. Veronica, finally getting her bearings chuckled, "Tch, you'd do good to learn that not everything can be explained with logic." Armand stared at his pint-size partner, still in a state of shock. Meanwhile, Claudia had also regained full control of her senses and, while promptly ignoring her teammates, began to survey the surrounding area. Several pokemon were wandering the area, but one particular group stuck out in a rather strange way. More than half of them were transparent. Her curiosity piqued, she floated over to circle of mostly transparent Pokemon to find that they were surrounding a very familiar looking Espeon. A few seconds of eavesdropping revealed his identity, by the sounds of it, the Espeon was none other than the ex-guildleader Solaris. Oh joy, this was just too perfect~ Squeezing in to the small circle of Pokemon, she began to laugh evilly and join in on the taunting, "Oh Solaris~ I would say your attempts at running a guild were a joke~ But that would be too complementary~"
