History: Mizu was born premature to Naoki and Yua Hamasaki on a cold morning in November. For nearly two months, the boy was kept in the hospital until he was healthy enough for his parents to bring him home. Unfortunately, the complications didn't end there; as he grew, it became obvious that Mizu was a sickly child. Illness became a normal occurrence in his life, and there have been many times when the boy had to be taken to the hospital because of one thing or another.
Because of this, Mizu's parents are very protective over their son. They have a tutor come to teach him at home, and it's very rare for the boy to be let out of the house. Most of the time he's confined to his bed, though his parents will sometimes let him traverse around the house if his health is doing exceptionally well.
Personality: Despite his situation, Mizu is a fairly cheerful teenager. There's rarely a moment where he's not wearing a smile on his face, and he usually tries to look on the bright side of things. Mizu has a love of books, especially literature from the fantasy genre. It's not uncommon to find him with his nose in a book when he's in bed, and he had a bookshelf that overflowing with novels of all types.
While he'd never admit it, Mizu finds that he can get quite lonely sometimes. Friends are not something that he's had the opportunity to make, thanks to his condition, and he loves it when people come over to visit. He's also somewhat frightened by the prospect of dying.
