Well...We're getting another girl Vocaloid. But wait! There's something about this one! She's been out for a year or so! (Design wise) She's actually a Kittyler used to promote Hello Kitty... and she's designed by KEI (Designer of Miku ,Rin/Len, Luka, and Lily)
*Starts to cry. Why couldn't they have chose the male. We have enough females*

Anyone else notice her hair and face look like a re-colored version of Lily? And yes, I know KEI did it so there's bound to be similarities but it looks exactly alike to me :s

Is this a 'Vocaloid' for a five-year-old? What the hell, AHS? What happened to your amazing designs. No one else had half a brain to think of school-themed 'loids, and ones with a puppet-like body. I'd prefer Rio to stay as a damn drawing and MMD model. The designs been out for about a year, and now AHS decides to become uncool and use a generic anime girl? And over 4 Vocaloids released/announced from 4 different companies in 6 months; damn competition. If Rio has some 'kawaii desu' voice, I'm gonna shoot AHS for making a Miku rip-off. And why is AH-Software, Alice Human Sacrifice when said AHS?!Anyway, Hello Kitty should not have entered Vocaloid. I'm gonna shoot the guy who decided THAT. All we're going to get is this, which would fail...so bad. And KEI is fricking out of IDEAS! Rio and LILY have the same design, but even though LILY came second, she's not killing me with that over-done cute factor. =_= And I can see Rio and LILY being 'twins' due to KEI failing at character designs now. And right now Rio=Lily due to the EXACT SAME DESIGN! I'd prefer William as a HK Vocaloid. More boys are needed for a better range! FEMALES DON'T FILL THE VOCAL GAPS! And I'm sick of this thing I'm noticing. 'If it's KEI, it sells.' The voice is the main focus of the product, not the image! That's why the Engloids are superior, since most stick with a headshot, and they actually have ORIGINAL designs if they have been given one. I don't mind it. it looks cute, even by my standards. And oh well, if they chose to create it then its done, nothing we can do about it.
also, boys dont care about hello kitty. And since the bulk of the user base is probably male, the want the "omg kawaii" voice.
Again if they want to use it then it gets used. If a person doesn't like it they don't need to use it. Simple as that. Companies can't please everyone, and while it would be nice to see another male. females sell far better than the males.
This is a similar argument that has been heard since Kiyoteru came out and it was like "Omg he sounds like Kaito." although this time its about the looks, looks done by the same artist.
While William would be nice, he probably wouldn't sell very well if he was one of the first, case in point with Kaito in the beginning.

I agree with everything you typed. If she turns out to be real, then I will be sad. On the bright side, Zero G said they they're working on another after Tonio and Power FX is working on another. Maybe they'll be male!

I've spoke with someone who has worked with PowerFX and ZeroG, and about ZeroG's new VOCALOID, they said; Quote: Sorry I can't say yet what type of voice it is. I can reveal that it's different from any other engloid... I know 3 people. 1 from Zero-G, 1 from PowerFX and 1 who works with both, and is helping the recording of ZeroG's current WiP Vocaloid. And people have suggested real singers, and online singers for new voices, and these companies, who have accounts on VocaloidOtaku, are taking note of these; they are actually seeing what the fans want, then finding a voice which fills a gap, then making it. The Japanloids are just those famous voice actors and singers, mainly. GACKT and Megumi Nakajima, along with Yuri from m.o.v.e. were a good move, since the voicebanks are high quality due to these people used to being recorded and how to sing. And the 3 voices fill a large gap together.

The reasons why the poster at Vocaloid Blog thinks it's Rio: - Her name. San-Rio. - The musical theme of her design. - Her designer is KEI. So yes, it could be a completely different character than Rio. (But the song demo at Comiket was a girl's voice, so unfortunately it couldn't be the male Kittyler/Christopher/William unless it's going to be some weird futanari Hello Kitty vocaloid.) The only thing confirmed right now is that AH Software announced a new Vocaloid they are developing at the Sanrio's booth.

To me, Zero G just keep getting better and better. And Power FX score big points in my book because of Al and Ann. They both just go so well with each other. I've been watching Zero and FX, account holders and I must say, smart move on their part. Coming to the fans to see what they want.

You can go to Internet co's site and download her 30-day trial voice.
Heck, people have already posted a whole bunch of original songs for Lily on Nico. Including but not limited to MachigeritaP, who I haven't seen use an Utau. At all. This is the guy who does songs like Dark Woods Circus and Rotten Girl Grotesque Romance, in case you weren't familiar with him already.
As for Rio, I'm not impressed until I hear a voice sample D:

Internet Co. is now staying my favourite company;
I was just hoping all companies go for the 'KEI = big sales' thing. I want to see Suzunosuke who drew the images for mothy's latest Gakupo song, Alluring Secret ~Black Vow~ and so many other great PV's, draw a Vocaloid for use for a company. There art style isn't generic with eyes and such, and they can draw manly males and feminine females. KEI seems to just be specialized in females;
Even Len barely looks manly. *hopes his Append makes him look older, but still hints a little shota*
