"Scars Never Heal" by WWE Studios starts playing as the crowd cheers. Jake Nova walked out onto the stage and held up his hands, setting up bright spark pyro behind him. He then walked down the ramp, being sure to spend as much time with his fans as he could. Mimicking The Hitman himself by putting his sun glasses on a very excited youth.

"Making his way to the ring, from Chicago Illinois, weighing in at 245lbs, 'The Shining Star' Jake Nova!"

Jake then jumped into the ring and leaped over the ropes. He then climbed the turnbuckles to get a better look at the fans, waving to them, pointing out signs, and smiling as he does so. He then removes his jacket and hands it to one of the ring crew, pointing out another lucky fan up front that would receive the jacket.

He then drops down from the turnbuckle and waits in the middle of the ring for his opponent.

Jake accepted the lock-up and was put into the side headlock, however, this was too early to wear him down, so Nova used his technical knowledge and attempted to grab Matt's arm and turn it into a hammerlock.
