Waterfall Pit
As the name states, this area is a peculiar mix of earthly formations. Over a great span of years, soft ground and unending rainwater from the nearby mountains forced the weak ground to collapse into itself. The constant stream of water from that point and after formed a spiral of caves and tunnels that span for miles downward before coming to rest in a beautiful underground lake at the bottom. Be warned the atmosphere makes for a peculiar mix of different inhabitants.

A spirit is said to be seen around this lake from time to time. Nobody knows where it came from, but it's quite playful...

Complete!
“We’re here.” Tora and the two other members of Team Tora stood and stared into the abyssal hole that loomed under them. The ground had succumbed to the pressure of the water that kept bombarding it and in return it caved in.
“Looks like it. Well should we go?” Mr. Febrero had seemed a bit eager to hunt down this enemy though the reason why was beyond both Tora and Melanie.
“Sure,” Tora said as she turned to Melanie. “Guard the rear. You have some long range attacks in your arsenal like Poison Powder.”
Melanine nodded at this for she knew that her attacks were that to be used from a distance since that was how she built herself for combat. Melanie had always been the type of Pokémon to fear combat such as in their last mission. Out of all the battles, she only fought in one and that was the one where it was impossible to get hit. Both Mr. Febrero and Tora knew of her weakness but they refrained from exploiting her since she was still a team mate none the less.
“Well, let’s go.” Tora dove into the hole shortly followed by Mr. Febrero and eventually Melanie since she was to bring up the rear.

The hole in the ground was more of a cave because as soon as they jumped in, they landed on solid ground which went on while on flat ground.
“No climbing today!” Melanie smiled happily and turned to Tora who seemed a bit disappointed.
“No climbing huh? That only means our battle will be harder since the enemy is on level terrain.” Mr. Febrero folded his arms and practically stole the words out of Tora’s mouth. “Well, we’re just going to have to try harder!”
“Well that’s easy for you to say. This is his hideout; we don’t know the first thing about this place.” Tora glared daggers at Mr. Febrero’s naïve comment but quickly tore her gaze away when a figure shifted in the shadows of the dark cave.
“W-What was that?!” Melanie dashed away from where she had landed and retreated behind the safe haven known as Mr. Febrero since she got to witness his power first-hand.
“I don’t know Melanie. I think it was a Pokemon.” Mr. Febrero squinted as though to pretend he knew what it was but to no avail.
“Well, since we’re all not sure. We’re going to follow it.” With that final noble word, Tora jumped off into the distance leaving a confused Melanie and distraught Mr. Febrero.
“I guess we should follow her Melanie.” After realizing what had just happened, Mr. Febrero decided it would be best to just follow the leader because if anything were to happen to her then he would be in some serious trouble as would Melanie.
“But it’s so dark. I don’t even know which way she went.” Melanie pointed out the obvious. Aside from there being a pitch-black atmosphere and view, there could always be more than the one path Tora decided to take. If they were to miss her path then they could end up in some place far away.
“We have to take chances. No mission is completed without a risk of failure. Let’s have faith in ourselves okay?” Mr. Febrero began to slowly walk into the darkness making Melanie realize that she wouldn’t have a choice by the way things seemed. It was either wait here alone or follow Mr. Febrero.
“Okay, okay! Wait for me!” With that being said, Melanie darted off to keep up with Mr. Febrero who was beginning to walk fast in the hopes of catching up to Tora.

The moment the darkness faded and light replaced it, the two realized that there would be no way of finding Tora. As they stood in the center of the cave, they witnessed what seemed to be six different paths that they could take, not including the one they had just come from.
Mr. Febrero turned to Melanie who was staring at him nervously and decided that the best plan of action would be to just stick with her and calm her, “We’ll stay together okay? Oh this looks a bit bothersome though.” After pondering for a moment about what course of action to take, he clapped his hands and pointed to the first path. “We’ll go through here and figure out what’s in there. Odds are it’s a wild Pokemon but we shouldn’t have a problem!”
“I-I hope so. I don’t fight though so you’ll have to do it.”
Mr. Febrero scoffed at this and began to walk. “Nonsense, if I get hurt and can’t fight you’ll do something I’m sure.”
Melanie took a look around before deciding it to be best to follow him down this path. “Wait for me!” she then leapt into the air and allowed herself to float swiftly to Mr. Febrero.
Moments after they left though, the shadows stirred and a Furret larger than a Heracross appeared inside the center of the cave. “More intruders? Ha, the guilds are out to get me, that’s for damn sure!” The Furret pulled the cigarette it was smoking out of his mouth and stomped on it before slowly walking down the path that the two had just taken.

It took Tora awhile before she realized that she had actually split up from her own team mates. The idea of being split up was a mixed feeling to her. On one hand she could let herself go in battle without worrying about whether or not she would hurt them but on the other side if she lost then she wouldn’t have any back-up.
“I can’t believe I’m actually worried about losing a battle. I guess hanging out with Melanie so much has made me soft.” Tora laughed lightly at herself before catching eye of the shadow she had ran off for earlier. “Show yourself!”
The shadow must have understood because instead of fleeing like it did when all three of them were together, it turned around and laughed loudly. The laugh bellowed throughout the whole cavern causing Tora to flinch in agony for her ears. “Call me your average Zubat and I’ll let you know why I didn’t fight you earlier.”
At this comment Tora quickly took an offensive stance and rolled her eyes before replying with a nasty comment; “Don’t even tell me. I know Pokémon like you. Think you’re strong because you got me alone. Well let me tell you something, you picked the wrong one.” Tora launched a powerful Hidden Power but the Zubat managed to fly and out-maneuver the white spheres.
“You read me like a book but your arrogance won’t win this battle for you. Wing Attack!” Zubat began to flap its wings at high speeds and as it did, they turned into a bright white light. He then glided towards Tora.
Tora leapt into the air right before the attack positioning herself right above Zubat. “Tackle!” As Zubat tried to recover from his missed attack, Tora lunged herself towards the ground since Zubat was right under her and he went crashing into the ground. “Too bad you don’t have legs or then you could get up!” Tora followed up her tackle with a Hidden Power causing the Zubat to faint.
“What a shame. Time to move on I guess.” Tora picked up all the leaves she dropped from battling the Zubat and walked onwards to where the Zubat seemed to be headed before he decided to fight her. “I might find some clues to the Furret up ahead.”

As Tora did this, Melanie and Mr. Febrero were on a mission of their own which was a bit less inconsiderate than Tora’s which was to find Tora. The two had been walking down this hallway for a while now but nothing seemed to come up. However, there was one thing that stood out about the two walking. Melanie was beginning to notice that Mr. Febrero kept gazing behind his shoulder as though he suspected someone to be on to him.
“Everything’s alright right?” Melanie wasn’t sure what to ask because she wasn’t sure what she wanted to hear him say. She was kind of hoping for an ‘Everything’s fine’ but the answer she got was so much more different.
“Melanie listen to me, I sense a powerful enemy following us as though he’s analyzing us. I need you to go on and find Tora so that she can help me okay?”
Melanie let out a silent gasp at Mr. Febrero’s serious voice but decided it would be for the best if she didn’t want to get knocked out here and teleported back to the guild. “Okay.” Melanie admitted that it was a bit out-of-character of her to just agree to walking off by herself in this dark place but if she could pull off being alone then she’d have no problems with wild Pokémon as long as she kept her distance. Thus, she swallowed her fears and treaded on forward into the darkness which left all three of them separated from one-another.

As she trotted off into the darkness, Melanie couldn’t help but feel that walking off by her lonesome would put Mr. Febrero in serious danger. Thus, as though it may be the last time, Melanie chose to return to him. However, she was soon stopped by an enemy Pokémon.
“I saw the whole thing and let me point out that you’re a coward.” A Dratini no bigger than a baby Ekans slithered down a rigged rock and into close proximity of Melanie. “You probably don’t have the fortuitousness to handle an enemy like me either.”
Melanie, at the sight of Ekans, backed up slowly as though she were about to make a dash for it but before she even could she felt the grip of a wrap consuming her.
“I feed off fear. Cry and I’ll consume your very being as you do so.” The Dratini whispered this an almost romantic way which made Melanie even more alarmed by the situation.
“P-Please!” Melanie hacked and coughed as she struggled to free herself. The air inside of her was running out and the idea of fighting back scared her even more than the idea of dying.
“Succumb.” As the Dratini clenched more firmly than ever around Melanie’s body, Melanie felt her own consciousness slipping away from her.
“I-I have to do something.” Melanie let out a cry of an inner burning desire and as she did, a powerful Stun Spore was released from her mouth causing the constriction to loosen and the Dratini’s body went into shock as it twitched around uncontrollably.
“M-My muscles!” As the Dratini regained its own balance and used its ability Shed Skin to cure itself, Melanie realized that there would be no such thing as an easy battle from here on out. “Now that I’m better, how about we settle this like real women once and for all!”
Melanie backed up slightly as the Dratini slithered in slowly on her until eventually she was backed into a wall. “O-Oh no.” Melanie looked around but there was nothing around that could save her now. No team mates, no magical writer’s relief. Nothing.
“Any last words?” As the Dratini came within three feet, it unwound itself preparing for another nasty wrap attack. Melanie knew that if this were to hit, she would be sent back to the guild due to knock out and right now, she felt her team needed her more than ever since her ability could stop Furret.
“…N-No…” Melanie looked down to the tattered cave ground and only felt disappointment. Disappointment that she had let not only her team down, but herself as well. If she were just a bit stronger then maybe she could’ve beaten this Dratini but the fear that Melanie faced was just too much.
“That’s a shame isn’t it?” With that being said, the Dratini struck at Melanie.

The cave grew brighter as holes in the walls revealed themselves as small windows for Tora to look through as she plunged deeper into this abyss. She was looking for something that would indicate that Furret was in the cave somewhere but all clues were empty since it was only a hideout and not some sort of treasure trove.
“This is dumb.” Tora stared blankly into the darkness but nothing was there. It was as though she were tricked into walking this way but knowing that foolish Zubat, she felt otherwise.
“Zubat brought you here?” An Omanyte scuttled out of the darkness to Tora.
“What do you want?” Tora gave Omanyte a cross and impatient look to signify that she didn’t have time for games. However, the Omanyte turned a blind eye to this and continued to approach her.
“Me? I just want to know if Zubat brought you here but by the looks of things he’s not with you so that can only mean one thing.” Omanyte let out a sigh before turning her scuttle into a dash towards Tora. “You defeated him!”
As the Omanyte launched a tackle, Tora threw up a protect to shield from the attack. “You can’t beat me with such attack!”
The Omanyte laughed loudly before retreating to a safe distance to prepare another attack.
This however, was Tora’s opportunity to beat this Pokémon. “Hidden Power!” Tora launched several white spheres at Omanyte who skillfully launched its own Water Gun to cancel out both attacks.
“No wonder you beat Zubat.” Omanyte then launched a water gun at Tora.
As Tora tried to dodge the attack, she stumbled in the soggy ground and was drenched with the powerful attack. “Gah!” As she recovered from the attack, she plotted how to best defeat this Pokémon. It knew long and short-range attacks so this was probably going to become a problem. “You’re decent. I’ll give you that.”
The Omanyte giggled silently before creating another water-gun and launching it at Tora. “You’re going to lose okay?”
Tora seized the opportunity. As the water gun came crashing towards her, she created a protect and deflected the stream of water. Once the attack finished, she created her Hidden Power again except this time Omanyte had to recharge its water gun so it couldn’t use it to block the attack.
“Oh no!” The Omanyte was hit with a powerful Hidden Power causing it to roll over several times. After laying on the ground a moment though, Omanyte struggled but eventually managed to stand up.
“Determined aren’t you?” Tora let out a sigh and launched another Hidden Power that was deflected by Omanyte’s Water Gun.
“Y-You can’t win. It’s impossible.” Omanyte then charged at Tora preparing another tackle attack.
“You can’t expect me to allow you to just charge like a mad-man? Lost your mind.” Tora launched a Hidden Power which lifted the Omanyte off the ground and into the air before it came crashing down and eventually pass out. “I guess it’s not impossible.” Tora walked onwards from where to Omanyte had come. She couldn’t help but feel as though she were getting close to where she needed to go.
Not once did the other two cross her mind on this expedition sadly enough. She was much too preoccupied with coming out on top with this culprit.

Mr. Febrero, alone and raring to go, turned to the darkness to gaze at what might be the culprit that they had been looking for. “You are that Furret aren’t you?” Mr. Febrero’s voice went deep as though he were no longer Mr. Febrero but someone else entirely.
“Raiden the Red is more suitable for someone like me.” Raiden revealed itself from the shadows. A large Furret stood before Mr. Febrero, but instead of being fearful, Mr. Febrero smiled widely.
“You think you can win with your looks alone. You don’t know who I am and I’ll be damned if I even tell you.” Mr. Febrero took a threatening stance allowing his claws to be broadcast to this large Furret.
“You seem like you know what you’re doing. No matter; I’ll strike you down along with that other little Hoppip that was following you! Ha-Ha!” Raiden the Red let out a cynical laugh as it walked even closer to Mr. Febrero.
“Well, if that’s how it’s going to be then you leave me no choice.” Mr. Febrero jumped into the air and came crashing towards Raiden with a Slash attack but in the blink of an eye he was hit with Raiden’s tail and went crashing into the cave wall.
“Don’t make me laugh!” Raiden followed up this with a quick attack which smashed Mr. Febrero into the wall even further.
“Gah!” Mr. Febrero went crashing to the ground and struggled violently to bring himself to his feet before Raiden could use yet another attack. “I, no, W-we will win.” Mr. Febrero coughed violently allowing little drops of blood to roll from his mouth.
“Look at you. Hardly able to stand and yet you feel that there is no doubt in your mind that this match is yours.” Raiden the Red charged and struck Mr. Febrero with another Quick Attack. The impact sent Mr. Febrero into the ceiling. As he fell back to the cave floor, Raiden launched a Headbutt which caused Mr. Febrero to going colliding into the wall again.
“…” Mr. Febrero fell back to the floor and laid motionlessly, yet he was still not disappearing. “W-Won’t faint. Come on Tora.”
Raiden the Red scratched his head at this comment. He had been listening to the conversations between the Hoppip and Sneasel long enough to know that neither of their names were Tora. “Is that like your mother or something. Ah-Hah! You’re worthless.” Raiden lunged with another Quick Attack almost positive that this would be his last before Mr. Febrero faded away and was sent back to the guild.

The Dratini was just about to lunge and all that Melanie could think about was running. “I-I have to do this!”
“You lose!” The Dratini launched herself at Melanie with another wrap but before it could manage such a thing, Melanie used that attack U-Turn causing the Dratini to collide with the floor.
“I can’t believe it! I hurt the Dratini!” Melanie jumped up and down in a happy manner as the Dratini picked itself up off the ground.
“So I let me guard down, big deal! It just goes to prove that I was being rather careless but not this time!” The Dratini lunged at Melanie but before it could wrap, again, Melanie used a U-Turn.
“Oh my gosh! Maybe I’m really strong!?” Melanie gasped at the fact that not once, but twice she managed to strike the Dratini. It was a good thing that this Dratini was very slow otherwise things would’ve been more complicated.
“Gah! I can’t lose to a Hoppip! Everyone would laugh at me! Twister!” The Dratini spun around several times before launching a small tornado at Melanie.
“What can I do about this!? Stun Spore!” Melanie spat out several small spores into the twister which then were shot back out all over the room. They covered both Melanie and Dratini but since Melanie was a grass type and they were her own spores, she wasn’t affected by them. Dratini on the other hand…
“Gah! I can’t move again!” The concentration needed for her twister was disrupted making it as simple as cake-walk for Melanie to dodge it.
“Yes!” Melanie jumped at the right time in order to avoid the twister. She then set her sights on Dratini who was now beginning to shed her skin. “U-Turn!” Melanie launched herself at Dratini and with one foul swoop and knocked the Dratini out before automatically retreating to a safe distance.
As she looked at the motionless Dratini, Melanie couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. For the first time in her life she had managed to defeat a Pokémon by herself. However, the fact that this Dratini was very small and slow was deleted from the equation. “I beat a Pokemon! I can’t believe it! Wait until I tell Tora but first things first.” Melanie walked over to a hole in the wall in which the sun beamed in like an uninvited guest and Melanie sat right under it. “Synthesis.” Melanie let out a sigh before absorbing sunlight so that she could recover the wounds that she had received while fighting the Dratini and its wrap attack. It occurred to her around that moment though that she should be heading back to Mr. Febrero since he told her to run off. Who knows, he may have been in some serious trouble.

Tora never even realized how close she was to the battle taking place between Raiden and Mr. Febrero until she heard what sounded like a wall colliding from the directions she was headed.
“Must be him!” Tora took off so instead of her relaxed walk she was now running as fast as she could. What she saw both shocked her and made her eager as well. Mr.Febrero was lying on the ground and turned to her. He must’ve really needed her help because he was asking for it by what she heard.
“Is that your mother or something?” Raiden laughed loudly, obviously unaware of the fact that Tora was standing right behind him. He then turned his amused self into a battle stance obviously ready to finish up this battle. That is when Tora decided to step in.
“Sorry but I’m not his mother!” Tora dove in the way of the quick attack and launched a protect to ruin the attack.
“Ha! No wonder he wanted you to appear. You actually managed to avoid one of my attacks which is a lot more than can be said for him.” Raiden the Red pointed to the defeated Sneasel who was beginning to fade away.
“S-Sorry Tora. I held on until you came otherwise he’d try and defeat Melanie.” Mr. Febrero slowly closed his eyes and as he did, his body completely vanished as he returned to the team room.
“Leaving me with Melanie huh? Wow, could things get worse?” Tora averted her gaze from the place Mr. Febrero was to Raiden who was now preparing another attack. “Come get some.”0
“I like it!” Raiden the Red charged with a Headbutt but before he could attack, Tora launched a Hidden Power disrupting his attack and causing him to retreat a bit. “Feisty aren’t you? But is that all you got?”
Tora knew that by using long range attacks, Raiden’s Headbutt and Quick Attack wouldn’t even come close to damaging her. “Is this all I got? Why don’t you be the judge of that?”
Raiden grinned widely and launched a Swift attack. Hundreds of star hovered over Tora and as soon as Furret put his tail to the ground, the stars responded and all of them came crashing down upon Tora.
“Protect!” The stars bounced off the multi-colored shield that Tora had just put above herself. “Swift won’t work either. Come at me with something new or is that all you got?”
The fact that Tora mocked Raiden caused him to grow much more angrier than he had anticipated. “Why you!? You can defeat me! That Hidden Power hardly did anything to me!”
Tora found this minor temper-tantrum to be rather amusing. She didn’t expect him to get so angry with the fact that she had used his words so loosely. This however, was a good thing sense anger tends to make people a bit irrational with the actions they just to initiate. “Chill out and fight me with a cool head. Otherwise this match will be a lot easier for me.”
Raiden jumped into the air and launched another swift. But unlike the other swift, the stars were a crimson color as though they were covered in blood. “Raiden the Red! Let me show you how I got my name!” The stars glided their way to Tora as she whipped up another protect, but these stars broke through and hit her.
“Ah!” Tora plummeted to the ground and watched as Raiden prepared another quick attack while she was still lying on the ground. She knew this would be the end of her if nothing were to happen.

Melanie was floating and running as fast as she could to get back to where Mr. Febrero had been whenever he told her to leave but what she saw was not Mr. Febrero but Tora actually! She was lying on the ground and struggling to get up as Raiden was aiming himself at her.
“Oh no! U-Turn!” In a blur, Melanie hit Raiden and caused him to tumble over and as he did, she retreated to a safe distance.
“What the!? Ah it the runt from earlier! I see that Dratini wasn’t enough!” Raiden rebalanced himself and changed his target to Melanie.
“Melanie use Cotton Spore!” Tora pointed to Raiden to signal where to use it as well.
“Cotton spore it is!” Melanie jumped into the air to avoid any close range attacks and launched an array of spores that clung ever-so tightly to Raiden.
“W-What is this!?” Raiden tried to push the spores off of him but the harder he tried the more that stuck to him.
“Now use Stun Spore!” Tora knew that since Raiden couldn’t move, it would be the perfect time to paralyze him and finish this match up.
“Stun Spore!” Melanie opened her mouth and released several spores, all of which landed on Raiden and disabled his whole body, except for his mouth that is.
“I can’t move! Ah!” Raiden struggled motionlessly to get his body to move but it was to no avail before Tora managed to stand up.
“It’s time to finish this!” Tora jumped on top of Raiden and used a Bug Bite attack causing him to pass out.
“We won Tora!” Melanie floated back to the ground and smiled happily to Tora who was trying to fight back a smile.
“Yeah. We did didn’t we.” Tora gritted her teeth as she realized that Melanie was now looking through the hall-way as though she were looking for someone but before she could say anything, Tora decided to speak up. “Mr. Febrero got knocked out so he was teleported back to the guild."
Instead of crying like Tora expected her to, Melanie merely nodded her head and pointed to the now unconscious Raiden. “We need to hurry because what if other Bounty hunters were to come here and try and take him from us?”
Tora nodded and roped up Raiden the Red before pulling out her badge to teleport back to the guild. “Whew, three battles in one day can really wear somebody out.”
Melanie let out a sigh and nodded in agreement. “Yeah I got in a battle to and I won!”
“I knew you would. You’ve got some good attacks and all your fear of dying has made you train more than the average Pokemon.” Tora then allowed the badge to glow a soft white light.
“Oh?” Melanie wasn’t too sure if that was the truth or not but it made sense to her since she managed to defeat Raiden with the help of Tora.
The three Pokémon slowly faded in a blur of white light and once they did, only the echoes from the cave were left to be heard.

((Some nice development you did for Melanie there. Character development is always good. If you ever want to add a bit more anxiety and fear of losing in your missions, know that in the missions most people write Pokemon don't automatically teleport back when they faint. If you change to that model your Pokemon will be more wary and concerned for the safety of themselves and their friends. There's nothing wrong with the way you're currently writing it though if you choose to continue; personal canons are very loosely regulated within this guild.

I found the logic of the story a bit hard to follow at times, especially when Tora split from the group at the beginning. I just don't see how a Burmy can run away so fast that his teammates couldn't keep up and she doesn't notice that she lost the other two.

And just a suggestion for the future: try to tie the entire mission in more closely to the posted mission. Much of the story felt unrelated to Raiden until the end. Even if the Pokemon your team fought had mentioned their leader, or perhaps all wore something that identified them as members of the Thieve's band would have made the entire mission feel more together and relevant to the bounty.

Overall, pretty good. No major errors or problems except for the logic of splitting the teams.))

Back at the Guild Office Arcanine came in personally with the rewards, more than a little impressed at Team Tora. Raiden had been causing the police grief for a decade, and no Teams had been able to find him and arrest him until now. Of course, they had a little help since they were given Raiden's location, but it was still no small feat from a team consisting of a Burmy, Hoppip, and Sneasel, the first two species of which not being well-renowned for their combat ability.

The Team was given the bounty on the criminal's head, a hefty 5,000 PD, as well as Officer Arcanine's gratitude. And as a mark of their accomplishment, they were given the Red Scarf wore by the Furret himself.

A day later a letter was sent to the team, a thank-you note came from someone who had had something precious stolen by Raiden which was now safely returned. "Thank you for everything. I hope that this will help you in future adventures." With it came a ticket for the Move Dojo

One Pokemon came not long after the package did, a familiar Zubat hoping to join the Team. He mentions something about how becoming an explorer will help get the police off his back.

The team was rewarded for their efforts though this wasn't all that came to be the situation. After being given a hefty 5000 P.D. They were given the Red Scarf worn by Raiden the Red himself.
"Hm, alright I'll take it." As Tora took the scarf, they were also handed a ticket for something called a move dojo. "I guess I'll check it out since I'm the only one who can handle it." Tora looked briefly at Mr. Febrero who had fainted on the mission.
The three were just about done filling out paper-work when a certain Zubat appeared.
"Yo' let me join so I can get these cops off my-"
"No." Tora dismissed the bat in the most cold way possible before heading back to her room with Melanie and Mr. Febrero. She felt that right now there were too many members for her to handle a new one as well. Not to mention that egg that was bound to hatch sometime soon.

(Thank you so much for all that. It's things like that I'm not sure about like how Pokemon faint but I can try and make it more tragic for next time. You're right about the whole splitting up thing to.

I keep forgetting about the fact that they're Pokemon and I keep thinking they're all human. x,x)

Ty and Thorn walked into the first floor of the dungeon, with their guard on high. "I-I-I-I don't like it here," Thorn said as she stepped closer to Ty for protection. "I-I mean, the letter said that there was Huge monster fish of a pokemon. What if it knows we are coming, and is just waiting for us to approach to ea- Eeeep! Something just touched me!" Thorn said as she started to shoot out random bursts of Poison Sting. "Thorn...Thorn....THORN!" Ty yelled as he looked around. "Wh-What is it Ty?" She asked with a tremble in her voice. "It was just water coming down from up there."He said as he pointed with his right leg to the ceiling. Little drops of water could be seen falling all around them. "If anything watery were to touch you, you'd be knocked on your face. Alot of water types live here, so they'll probably just use a move called Water Gun on you, instead of just a little droplet of water." He said as he continued to walk forward. "Yea-Yeah, I guess you're right Ty." She said as she looked around them for any sign of trouble, still with a tremble about her. She felt another drop of water hit her head, and hurried to Ty's side for protection. "Wh-Why are even taking this job? There must have been an easier job for us." Thorn questioned as she looked to her right so fast, she almost gave herself whiplash. "Because, we need to prove we aren't helpless little runts. And also this "Monster Fish", A.K.A Relicanth, could give us some info on why the sand beasts are becoming more violent around our village." He said as he looked onward. "Look, there's the entrance to the next floor. And no wild pokemon have attacked us. So come on." He said as he began to walk a little faster to the entrance.

Floor 2 B; 4.5

Ty and Thorn entered into the second floor, with a little bit more ease on Thorn's part. "Hang on, how do you know what kinda moves a pokemon here would use. Hell, how do you know what kinda pokemon live here?" She asked as she looked around again, with a little less trembling. "Ty...TY!" She yelled trying to get her partner's attention. "Shhh!" Ty responded as he looked onward. Thorn followed Ty's gaze until she saw what he was looking at. There, in part of the wall, was a giant indent of a massive fish like pokemon. "Holy-" "Shhh!" was all that Thorn got out before Ty silenced her. Ty looked around before saying in a low whisper, "By the size of that indent, the thing we are after won't be hard to spot." "Hard to see?! That's what you are worried about? That thing could eat my dad in a single chomp." Thorn yelled out as she threw her arms up. "Ty, you're going to risk our lives for some chance, which by the way is very small, on some info about the Sandslash outside of our village?" She said as she crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Thorn- Thorn! Get Down!" Ty said as he tackled Thorn to the ground. "What the hell was the for Ty!?" She asked in a tone of voice that seemed to startle her with the echoes of the cavern. "Look," Ty said as he pointed to the rock a few feet from them. It was starting to decay, like as if though acid had been poured all over it. "Wha-What is that!?" Thorn squelled as she pointed to the approaching purplish-black suldge moving towards them. "Grimer!" He said as he stood in front of Thorn as if protecting her. "Thorn, use Le-" He said as he saw her cowering in a ball. "Nevermind, alright, let's go!' He yelled to the grimer who started to morph into it's bodily form. "Hehehe. You're pretty quick, for an explorer." The wild pokemon said as it approached Ty. "You know, most don't even realize that I'm here until one of their teammates gets a taste of my Acid Spray attack. But, since you know I'm here, I guess I can't surprise you with another one of those. But I can still K.O You with some of my other moves." The pokemon said as it moved closer. "Stay back!" Ty shouted as he took a firmer stance. "Or else what? I know you're just a noobie, there isn't much you can do that will actually hurt me, now is there?" The Grimer said as it approached. "I mean, have you ever seen your face? That is a major sign that you can't hold your ground. What is the-" "Mudshot!" Ty shouted as he launched a massive spray of wet dirt into the Grimer's mouth, sending the wild pokemon flying into the nearest cave rock. "Wow, you actually hurt me. Now it's my turn!" The Grimer said as it jumped up into the air. "Face my Pound attack!" it said as it started to come down on top of Ty and Thorn. Just before it hit, Ty launched another Mudshot to knock it off it's original course, to hit Ty instead of both members of Team D-J. "Hawhawhaw, no much for my superior strength, are you runt?" The Grimer said as it sat on top of Ty. The Grimer didn't even seem to budge as Ty tried to squirm his way out for air. "What are yo-" The Grimer started to trail off as a mass of mud seemed to erupt from underneath it's body. A spilt second later, the Grimer was launched into the ceiling of the cave. Ty slowly got to his feet to see Thorn doing the exact same. "You Okay?" He asked as the Grimer fell to the floor, fainted. "Yeah, I guess. Let's hurry up and get outta here before more wild pokemon show up. I can see the entrance for the third floor right over there." She said as she walked towards Ty. "Sounds like a plan to me" He said as the duo walked out.

Floor 3 B:4

Ty emerged through the cave entrance, soon followed by Thorn who was trembling harder than when they first came in through the cave. "Thorn, it'll be ok, I doubt we'll run into anymore cowards like that." He said as he moved closer to Thorn. "Ye-Ye-Yeah, I guess you're right." She said as she started to look around the cave. Ty walk a few more steps with her at his side before he started to pick up speed. "Come on, lets hurry up, we should probably try to rush through these caves, so we save up energy for the big guy." He said as he looked for the entrance for the the fourth floor. "Yeah, I guess that is a good idea." Thorn said as she sped up to walk right next to Ty. He looked around some more until he saw the entrance, a few hundred yards away. "There! C'mon Thorn, I'll race you!" Ty said as he started to run towards the entrance. "Hey, no far, you have a head start!" Thorn said as she started to run after him.

Floor 4 B: 3.5

Both members of Team D-J entered through the hole in the cave. "Alright, six more floors" Ty said as he walked along a path. "Hey, what's that up ahead?" Thorn asked as she pointed to a small stretch of ground that seemed suspended over a small canyon. "Probably just a bridge" Ty said as he looked around. "Looks like the only way to move forward. So let's go." The trapinch said as he walked towards the formation of rock and dirt that made up the fourty foot bridge. About fifteen feet below the bridge, a river moving ever so slowly, stretched from each far side of the cave. "Alright, Thorn, go ahead and go in front of me. I'll only be a few feet behind you." Ty said as he moved to the right to let Thorn pass. "Al-Alright." She said as her body started to tremble as she took her first step onto the bridge. "Seems safe enough." Thorn said as Ty began to walk behind her. They started to move forward on the bridge, inch by inch, making their way to the end. As they reached about three fourths of the bridge, the middle started to crumble. "Thorn, RUN!" Ty yelled as he started to quicken his pace. Thorn began to pick up speed as the the bridge started to collapse under their feet. "Hurry, faster!' Ty yelled as Thorn made it across. He began to run a full speed when he could feel the ground under his back legs starting to give way. He launched himself forward, jumping to the end. As he crashed to the other side, he could see the bridge where his feet were a few seconds ago fall into the now rushing river. "Ty! Are you ok?" Thorn asked as she rushed over to her partner. "Yeah, I think so. Let's hurry to the entrance of the fifth floor." Ty said as he got to his feet and walked towards the opening in the cave wall.

Floor 5 B: 4.5

Thorn emerged through the entrance, to find the cave floor is now covered in about an inch of water. "Ty, I think we are diffently getting closer... Ty?" Thorn asked as she looked around for her teammate. "Almost... there." Ty said almost out of breath as he emerged through the door. "Oh m- Ty, here... Give me a second... Ah! Here, eat this." Thorn said as she handed Ty an Oran Berry from their pouch. "No, no I'm fine," Ty said as his right leg gave way. "Really, I'll make it to the end. No....Sweat..." Ty seemed to trail off as his eyes started to shut. "Oh, stop trying to be Mister Macho Machamp. You're a first stage pokemon, you need to heal more often than those of higher stage. Now eat." Thorn commanded as she handed the berry to her partner. Ty opened his mouth, and waited for Thorn to drop the berry inside. "Munch Munch, Chew Chew, Snuffle Slurp..... Ah!" He said as he jumped to his feet. "Much better. Now, let's go! Onward, march!" Ty yelled as he began to move towards the next entrance. "Oh boy..." Thorn said as she followed her partner with a face palm.

Floor 6 B:4

The duo of explorers emerged through the entrance to find a little bit more water here than the last room of the cave. Ty looked around to see little jewels forming along the walls, and became dazzled by all the amazingly beautiful hues of Reds, Greens, Blues, Purples, and Whites. "Ty, come on, we need to hurry." Thorn said as she began to nudge her teammate towards the next entrance. "So... Beautiful..." Ty murmered as his eyes followed all the dancing colors. "Ty, we don't have time for this, now snap out of it!" Thorn yelled as Ty shook his head to get his mind back into place. The two almost finish walking to the next entrance before Ty lost thought again. This time, instead of words, thorn just slapped across the face. "Owowowowow!" Ty yelped as he rubbed the now red mark on his face. "I may have deserved a harsh lashing of the tounge, but not an actual lashing!" Ty whined as the two walked through the entrance.

Floor 7 B: 5

Ty emerged first, only to find out he was up to his neck in water. "Ewww..." He said as Thorn emerged. "Why did you just say 'ew?' It's water, it's not like it's going to kill you or something." She said as Ty took a few steps forwards. "Well, think about it this way," Ty said as he took a few more steps forward, "If this water has been here awhile, what do you think some pokemon have done in it?" He said as Thorn began to shudder. "Good point. Let's hurry up and get outta' here." She said as her steps became quicker. As they approached the door, Ty stopped, "Wait...Did you just see that?" He asked as Thorn stopped right next to him. "See wha...." She said as her eyes focused in on what ty was talking about. A few yards between them and the entrance, there was a sudden ripple in the water. The two then shot from their standing points to the door, not wanting to find out what ever it was that made the ripple.

Floor 8 B: 4.5

The two emerged only to find about half an inch of water on the floor. "Hmmm, well that's a good sign." Thorn said as she continued to walk forward. "What do you mean?" Ty asked as he looked at his partner with a puzzled look on his face. "Well, if the pokemon we are after is a Relicanth, that means it's a water type, right? That means it'll get less power the less water there is." Thorn responded as she continued to walk forward. "Hmmm, I never thought about it that way." Ty said as he looked around the massive cavern they had now entered. This one was by far the largest yet. "Wonder how much farther it is to the entrance." Ty muttered to himself as the duo continued to walk forwards. "Wonder what our folks are doing right now." Thorn questioned as she tried to find the ceiling of the cavern. "I don't know, maybe writing us some letters or fighting off a Sandslash." He said as the next entrance started to come into view. As they approached, a strange sound erupted behind them. It sounded like little pieces of rock hitting other rock, with a hint of laughter. "Hehehehe." "Ty- What is that?" Thorn asked with a tremble of her body as she stepped next to Ty. "I don't know... Back to back, now!" Ty commanded as he put his back against Thorn's. Soon enough, Ty could see what was making the noises. "It's a Kabuto!" Ty yelled as he took a firm stance, ready for a battle. This time, Thorn stood next to him, reading her Magical Leaf. "Hehehe... Thought you could just slip right past me? Think again!" The wild pokemon yelled as it began to launch a Bubblebeam at the two. Thorn stepped up, and abosorbed most of the bubbles. "Thorn! Are you alright?" Ty asked as he loosened his stance. "Yeah, just fine. Water Absorb. Their water attacks have now effect while I am here." Thorn said as she stood next to Ty again. "Alright, I'll hit high, you hit low." Ty commanded as he took up a firm stance again. Ty unleashed a Mudshot to hit the top of the Pokemon's hard shell, while Thorn used Magical Leaf to take out it's legs. The pokemon then seemed to dissappear into the water. "Think it's safe to move forward?" Thorn asked as she looked around. "Do we have a choice? C'mon, let's go." Ty said as they walked to the entrance.

Floor 9 B: 4

Ty emerged from the entrance, and stood, dumbfounded. Thorn rushed thorugh, and almost toppled over the two memberes of Team D-J. Thorn looked at Ty's facial expression, and seemed a bit confused. "Ty? What's wrong? Is it some more jewels?" She asked as Ty's face didn't even twitch a muscle. Thorn turned to see what Ty was so interested by. As soon as she turned around, she realized Ty wasn't dumbfounded by by some jewels again. But the total destruction of the massive cavern. "Wh-Wh-What could have done this?" Thorn asked as her body trembled at the site of the mass destruction. Stalagmites were shattered into pieces, scorch marks from electric attacks scattered all over. Massive indents in the walls, water flowing above the bed from fallen rocks. "This monster has to be stopped." Ty said as his expression changed from dumbfounded to serious. "If it gets out of this cave, who knows what will happen." He said as Thorn began to tremble even harder at the thought of seeing this massive beast. "We need to hurry up. One more floor, and we meet the beast." Ty said as he looked for the entrance of the tenth floor. As he looked to his right, Thorn started to shake off her trembling fit. "Hmmm, not there.... Ah!" Ty exclaimed as he began to run towards the entrance. "Hurry Thorn!" He yelled as Thorn started to run after him.

Floor 10 B: 3.5

The team finally reach the floor of the mission. Standing a few hundred feet, is the monster Relicanth, landing a last blow onto the pokemon that had requested the mission. The massive pokemon turns to face Ty and Thorn, who are now in shock at the sheer size of this beast. It then opened it's mouth to let out a massive roar, that shook the roof of the cave. Then, out of nowhere, what seemed like rain seemed to pour from the ceiling. "It used Rain Dance!" Ty yelled as he took up a fighting stance. Thorn, on the other hand, started to tremble worse than ever. "Thorn, snap out of it! We need to destory this... This Monster!" He yelled as a pinkish colored light seemed to form in front of the Pokemon's monsterous skull. As the light collected, Thorn turned to face Ty, and nodded. Acknowledging the fact that it needed to be stopped. Still shaking, she took a firm stance to brace herself. Soon after, the light formed into a ball as the pokemon charged at the duo. Before they could react, the massive skull crashed into the wall behind them, causing enough force to send the two flying forward. As they crashed into the ground, the pokemon turned around to face them. "Ughhh... It must have Swift Swim... I didn't even see it hit us" Ty murmered as he got to his feet and readied his attack. Thorn followed, with her fists up in a defensive postion you see in boxing. "Ready, and go!' Ty yelled as a steady stream of mud shot out of his mouth. The mud hit the fish pokemon, causing it to fall back a bit. Then Thorn launched a barrage of leaves to help aid in this matter, sending the pokemon recoiling into the wall. The massive impact caused the roof to shake, and a few stalactites fell from above, piercing the ground and shattering into hundreds of smaller chuinks of rocks. "Yes, we hit it!" Thorn exclaimed as she jumped for joy in their little victory. But this was soon killed as the pokemon got back up again. Now, the water from above had caused about half a foot of water on the ground. As the pokemon arose, it opened it's jaws, to release a massive jet of water at the two. Hitting them almost directly. The mist settled down to the ground to reveal that Thorn had used her ability to absorb most of the damage. But some of it still hit Ty, who was now shaking from the loss of Hit Points. The pokemon then opened it's jaws to let out another roar. This time, it was out of rage. Ty took up his stance again, as did Thorn, preparing to attack again. The two then launched another barrage of mud and leaves at the foe, sending back into the wall. This time, causing a crack to move up towards the ceiling. Soon enough, more stalactites started to fall, this time, barely missing Ty and Thorn. "We need to end this now!" Ty exclaimed as he looked around at all the Stalactites laying around in pieces. The massive pokemon then began to collect more pink light, getting ready to launch another Zen Headbutt at the two. As the pink light formed into another ball, a few more stalactites started to fall. This time grazing Ty in the right shoulder. As he let out a scream in pain, the massive pokemon charged at the two. As it was about to it hit the duo, Thorn tackled Ty to the ground, taking all the damage from the Zen Headbutt. As the pokemon slowed down to a stop a few hundred feet away, Ty got to his feet preparing to launch another attack. Thorn on the other hand, had to brace herself with her arm to stand up straight. "This last hit should finish it off." Ty said as Thorn winced at the pain from the last blow. The massive pokemon let out a roar again, this time with a hint of joy at the thought of injuring one of it's foes. The two readied themselves, and launched one last barrage against the pokemon. This time, putting in their all to make sure it doesn't get back up again. As the pokemon began to collect more pink light, the combined attacks from the two rookies hit it square in the forehead. Shattering the pink light into space. The pokemon, with a confused look on it's face fell on it's side, knocked out from the damage that had taken it's tole. The two, now relieved that the struggle was over, walked over to the fallen Ampharos. Who had now gained consiousness, and was starting to get on it's feet. "Thank you for helping me out. I was excivating the cite here, when what I thought was a fossil came to life and started to chase me down. I finally attempted to attack it in the last room, as you probably saw, but with little success. As it followed me here, it launched a Hydro Pump attack, that knocked me out. That's about where you two came in. And for that, I am thankful." The pokemon said as the guild badge began to shine on it. Sending it back to the guild. "Well, I think we are done here." Ty said, still winded from the damage that had been delt. "Ready to call it a day?" He asked as Thorn ate an Oran berry. "Yep. Let's go home." She said as the Guild Badge shined on the two, teleporting them back home.

The Ampharos seemed overly enthused over the two Pokemon's victory.
"Yes, yes, very good! You've gotten rid of that dreadful fish! Here, take these for a job well done!"
It tossed a bag to Ty before sauntering away with it's tail swinging behind it.
Obtained:
3000PD
Muddy Water TM

A familiar female Kabuto, a Sandslash and a cocky Grimer approached the duo with the intent to join them! The new team could only accept one though.

[It's a bit hard to read as the text is boxed together, if you could space it out some next time that'd be much appreciated.]

[No problem, and sorry I haven't been able to respond in awhile, haven't had enough to role-play with school and such]

Ty's eyes lit up as he gazed inside the bag, to see all three thousand PD and the TM for Muddy Water. As he looked at Thorn to show her their newly acquired money and move, he could see her face with the expression that she was seeing ghost. He turned to follow her gaze only to see a group of three pokemon approaching. The two in front were the same Kabuto and Grimer they had defeated on their recent mission. This didn't seem to stun Ty as much as Thorn, but then he noticed a familiar set of silver spikes. As the first two stepped aside, he could see what pokemon that had also come to join Team D-J. "You... Why have you come here?" Ty asked as his expression changed to serious. The Sandslash spoke in a low voice"I... Have come here-" "To scar Ty again?" Thorn interrupted as her face went from shocked to anger. "No, I have come here to seek forgiveness for the harm my father has done to your friend." The Sandslash said as his gaze fell onto Ty's face. "I know my tribe and I have done some horrible things to you and your village, but I come here to help stop any more bloodshed and death in our desert. Arceus knows how many have died out there. And for what? A feud that started thousands of years ago. Well, I come here to end our fighting, and to ask to join your team." The Sandslash spoke in a voice so full of sorrow, that he couldn't be lying. "Hmm... Give us one good reason to show you won't be like your father." Ty said as his face grew a little gentler. "This war has taken everyone from me. I grew up without a father, for he died that very day. Without him to bring home food, my mother gave me and my sister away to some adoptive parents. One day few years later, we received word our mother had pass away due to her being in the crossfire of some drunk soldiers. Soon after, about two months, some of the Sandslash, who had been exiled for crimes unspeakable against my people, came and killed my adoptive parents and kidnapped my sister. A few days later, our armed forces had found her dead body. Left for the Mandibuzz. If we weren't sending all of our soldiers to fight your village, they might have been able to save them." He spoke as his voice cracked and eyes started to water. Thorn turned to face Ty, and whispered, "I don't think he's lying about this. The way his voice cracked at the end, you can't really fake that." "I know..." Ty murmured as he turned away to face the three pokemon. "Alright, Sandslash, we accept you into Team D-J." Ty spoke as he walked over to the newest member. "Hang on, so we came here just to be rejected without you hearing our stories?" The Grimer said in annoyed tone of voice. "What the ********> The Kabuto cursed as he take up a fighting stance. "Let's teach these punks a lesson." The Grimer said as it also took up a fighting stance. Before the two pokemon could even flinch though, the Sandslash had his claws smashing into their backs. Then, with the coating of metal on his tail, he sent the two flying into the air, far away from the guild. "And don't ever threaten us again." The Sandslash yelled as the two pokemon disappeared from sight. "Oh!" Thorn exclaimed as she walked over to the Sandslash, "I'm Thorn, and this is, as you know, Ty." She said as she awaited the Sandslash to respond. "I'm Krush." Krush said as he walked over to Ty.
