Heliosyne is a slightly odd soul. She was abandoned, as all Di'taki are, along the shores of lake Ha'tama and retrieved by a Di'taki female. She grew up as one of the cursed, in the Deep Woods. No one noticed anything strange about her until she began to approach adolescence. At this point, she slowly began to sink into...well, stupidity. She seemed to stop developing at some point as a child, and has remained immature ever since. Her language skills are rudimentary at best and she doesn't understand the meaning of 'personal space'. Her naivety and bubbly exterior make her a likable soul, regardless of her lack of intelligence.
Friends
Cyranis - Heliosyne met Cyranis after following the male's familiar, Moonglow, to his den. Though he wasn't too keen on her presence, she ended up falling asleep with him. The two have been attached ever sense. They aren't exactly 'mates' as much as they are non-biological siblings.
Haze - An Adahy child that she met along Lake Ha'tooka during the Glow Festival. Though he didn't want to be seen with a Di'taki for obvious reasons, Heliosyne wasn't going to leave him alone until he helped her get a Glowbug. After taking her to a field and meeting Tonatiuh, the pair was attacked by two fully-grown male Adahy. One of the males knocked Haze into a tree, causing Heliosyne to lash out at them in fear. Haze chased her away from the area, and Heliosyne hasn't returned since.
Miko, Arya and Nara - These three all appeared within a few days of each other. Miko, a human, wished to be escorted to Di'taki lands to dispel the rumors around the species. After bribing Cyranis with shiny stones, Cyranis and Heliosyne accompanied her on her journey. Arya is a young, rambunctious male Di'taki, while Nara is an aspiring border patrol. She enjoys all three of these friends for their playfulness.

Very unlike Heliosyne, Cyranis is aggressive when first approached. With a quick introduction, however, his temper is quelled. Now he'll just refuse to turn his back to you in case you try to claw his flank open. Though his paranoia is apparent, this male has a few more problems than meets the eye. He also has a strange tendency to hoard rocks, which he keeps inside his dug-out den in the Deep Woods. He counts his collection daily, or sometimes twice or even three times daily, to make sure that none of them were stolen during the night.

 FadefeatherSpecies: Di'taki Gender: Male Age: Adult RP Count: One Post Count: Fourteen Acquaintance Count (Characters): One Acquaintance Count (Players): One Fadefeather is the creeper of the bunch. He develops 'deep love' for certain Di'taki, and stalks them relentlessly. Though mostly a benign presence, he doesn't understand the meaning of me time. Polite, manipulative and always accompanied by an eerie grin except in the worst of situations, this Di'taki is a hit to those who do not sense the oddity about his composure. AcquaintancesSoft Wind (Played by Yeomso) - A border patrol who caught Fadefeather creeping around the Adahy-Di'taki border. After a brief conversation, the two fight, leading both to have near-fatal injuries.

 AcereSpecies: Di'taki Gender: Female Age: Adult Mated to: Yeomso's Soft Wind Quiet and stable, Acere was Soft Wind's light in the darkness. When Soft Wind's previous mate died in birth, he was pushed to the brink of suicide. Fully intending to end his life, he approached Lake Ha'tama and would've succeeded in his plans, had Acere not interfered. Since then, they have been meeting at the lake as often as possible. Acere's lack of true empathy allows her to take on Soft Wind's problems with a logical, non-judging eye - she understands his pain, but cannot feel it herself, preserving her mental balance. Color: 99CC00- Bold dialogue.
