 ♥Pitching "The Unhappy Couples"♥ Once upon a time, marriages on television were simple and the essence of perfection. The husband went to work and made enough money. The wife stayed home, cooked, cleaned, and reared the children. The kids themselves were adorable and smart or sporty. But real life doesn't work out that way. And neither does television.
In the past decade, reality shows have become popular. New shows continue to pop up monthly and they're starting to lose their zest. Wife swap? Please! Why switch two extreme moms? Why not instead switch up a few households, all without children and all with major relationship problems? Ratings would love to see cheating, lying and tears. And so, a new reality show is about to take a test drive.
The Unhappy Couples is a reality show in which three unhappy couples have a new partner thrust upon them. The partners are split up and changed around, then sent to a company purchased neighborhood, to live life there. All the while, cameras will be constantly on, catching every single moment. To top it all off, these couples aren't happy with their current spouse. Could new relationships form? Or will the old one suddenly seem better?

Here's the deal. Your wonderful friends have decided that your relationship needs fixing. Unfortunately, they also think that to fix it, you don't need a marriage counselor, you need a reality show. So, you're on it, whether or not you wanted to agree or merely gave in. Now, you are going to be without your spouse for thirty days. Instead, you'll be living with someone else's, who also has relationship problems in a house that isn't your own on a neighborhood specifically blocked off for this show. Your only neighbors will be the two other 'couples'. At the end of the thirty days, you'll be given a choice. You can either remain married or you can divorce. It's your decision.

 ♥Meet Our Unhappy Couples...♥ ♥Mr. and Mrs. High School Sweethearts!♥
This pair met in high school and fell madly in love. The moment they graduated, they were hitched. But a few years have passed since then and they aren't as happy as they used to be. He's finally up for a promotion at his boring job and he's putting a lot of time into work. Not only that, but he's becoming buddies with his coworkers. Very little time is spent at home. She's working a lame job, one that she's over qualified for, but she does it and she cleans the house, cooks the meals. Recently, she's feeling alone, neglected, and suspicious with his constant absence. Has the spark died between the two?
♥Mr. and Mrs. Cheating♥
These two were seemingly happy. He has a job that makes them plenty of money. The hours are manageable. She stays at home and takes care of things, is involved in the community. Overall, everything seemed pretty perfect. And then the Mrs. found the Mr. screwing someone else. He's been cheating on her. Now she's unsure of what to do, hurt and betrayed. This break might be what they need, but it might be the end, too. Is he repentant or interested in jumping ship on someone else?

When this pair first started going out, he wore the pants in the relationship. That suited him just fine. But then they married and she did a one eighty. Suddenly, she was wearing the pants in the family, demanding things and enjoying her growing, successful career. But he's not sure he likes being the 'girl' in the relationship. In fact, it's driving him crazy. His job isn't going so well and she doesn't care because hers is great. Will their lack of communication ruin everything? Or can they start understanding one another better?

These are going to be extremely short for me because this is a literate guild. So, you should all be literate and know what this means. Two paragraph minimum. The end. Bad language is permitted, but not excessively. Violence is acceptable, but I do not want to see spousal abuse or anything like that. Sex? Sure, but in a time skip. No writing it out. Dirty jokes, innuendo, sexual and drug references, go ahead. Drugs? I suppose. Cheating on spouses? Go ahead! But keep it hetero or the couples will be screwed up. Send me a reserve first titled 'Unhappy Couples' and if I approve, fill out a profile titled 'My Happy Ending'. First come first serve. When posting, use a picture of your character, their name, and some color. More is appreciated. Post a few times a week, please. Oh, and, real people for images, please. Celebrities are okay, but none that are Disney or super super popular.
