The bible is not REAL.Why because it was hand written by a person that now one know.How did the bible come about it was a story.Bible is a story pass down from generation and every generation add something to it until some one copy it down.My fellow people the bible is a lie.That doesnt mean i believein god its just i dont believe a book made by man thats going to decide our fate.I refuse to believe.
This might be off topic but 2012 is a lie to its predicted by man that also know one knows.Tell you this in year 2012 something going happen something big goin take place in history should it be the end of the world or another clue that god have gave us.

I find this funny lmao,how you type of people,are foretold of for one,two you say the bible is a lie,and yet,everything it has spoken of has happpened and is happening now,and will soon come you know.if you wanna learn more,learn about the greeks,and other religions,it all leads to the Bible. and if you have a hard time understanding study the hebrew bible. but then again many will be told.most will not hear.nor see,for they are blind deaf & dumb the foolish man,in which satan has won over. anyway you would be surprised how many things you say,are wrong,you know,if you really took the time,and really focused on it,you would find your answers,seek and you be given.

Self-fulfilling prophecy- everyone expects it to happen and so it does due to the way be consciously or subconsciously act.
Vague/Broad prophecy- the prophecy is so vague and/or broad that people can apply it to almost anything.
Multiprophecy- there are so many prophecies that some of them come true, simply due to the sheer number of guesses. The ones that are wrong are ignored and the few that are correct are given praise and attention.
No Deadline Prophecy- A prophecy does not give a clear time that it is set to happen, and thus it can be said that "It just hasn't happened yet, but it will eventually" if it hasn't happened.
These and more contribute to why one might think that the Bible has accurate predictions. The Bible has guided you through times in your life? Your INTERPRETATIONS of selected verses of the Bible guided you! At least I hope you didn't find the whole Bible guiding you, as a good part of it contains contradiction and horrible cruelty!

The bible is a collection of stories. Even though I think it is a book of fiction and nothing but contradictions, it has actually helped people live a good life. Learn your sh*t for you go out spewing any.

The Bible is used to help guide people through confusing/tough times and whether or not you choose to believe the stories in the book, the situations are real and the possibilities of catastrophic and heroic events to occur are real.

Also, as for the " end of the world 2012 theory ", who really knows what's going to happen. Just because a human(s) predicted something to happen in the future, doesn't mean that it's not going to happen. There are very intelligent, spiritual, universal humans out there which I'm assuming were the Mayans as well which predicted 2012. Nostradamus predicted Napolean and Hitler so what does that say for human predictions?

Mayans didn't predict 2012 as a doomsday.
Just saying. They marked it for celebration of the end of one of their longest time periods, similar to our millennia or century.
As for the Bible, well, I've got not comment. Especially not after trying to decipher the horrible syntax and structure of the OP.

Even if the book is fake, the idea is real therefore making a part of it real and fake at the same time.
The bible is as real as you and me. My proof? Well you can touch it can't you?

Actually, old copies of all but one of the books of the Old Testament have been found, and the translation matches almost entirely with more modern copies we have today, which makes it quite clear that things haven't been added, at least not for the time span from which those were written and now. This might not be totally related, but here's part of what actually convinced me that the Bible is real: There's actually an effort being made by people involved with things like Zeitgeist, Lucis Trust, the New World Order, and other things discussed in this guild to get people to NOT believe in Jesus, such as the Zeitgeist movie. I actually used to believe some of the claims made by those people myself, until I began learning about things like the New World Order, the Illuminati, and the actual origins of the New Age Movement/Theosophy/Zeitgeist, and I started noticing how close the prophecies of the Bible actually are to being fulfilled through these things. Then I found more information about what Zeitgeist and all of that really is - and research absolutely disproving every single claim they try to make about Christianity (and this is using historic data and such, not merely referencing Bible verses or anything like that). The King James Bible is actually changed a lot last I recall, and has several mistranslations from Biblical Greek to English, and the Catholic Church has banned or removed whole "books" from their version of the Bible, but whatever.
If you can find a copy that's stringently translated from Biblical Hebrew or Greek, then it's probably pretty accurate. But you'd want to get as many books as possible, meaning it would need to be non-denominational. Which means you would want a linguist's version of the Bible, not a theologian's.
Pretty sure you can find those out there though, so it's all good. You CAN find modern copies that are fairly accurate, in as much as they're properly translated from ancient derivatives.

Hey, I'm on your side, but If people want to use the bible in their faith, I've got nothing against them, I've got close family and friends that are Catholic & Christian. It's freedom of choice wink
