No one here knows what a Hacienda is. It is a restaurant only for Hoosiers.
I went today. They have an appetizer called the Fry-yi-yi. It is waffle fries and cheese.
Hacienda is very authentic.

Hoosiers are what you call people from Indiana.
It relates back to some stupid story about asking "Who's there?"
I guess we all are drunk and stupid and slurred it so much it sounded like "hoosier".
What a terrible state.

Hrm, seems like I'll be driving through Indiana in a few weeks. If I enter this "Hacienda" will the hoosiers drive me out for being a Jersey kid?

Hossiers are pretty good at driving
especially at the Brickyard
but i have never known to drive anybody out.
i miss Ersind who used to join this Hoosier humor crying

I would still punch you, though, in that friendly, trying-to-cause-a-bruise way.
I wish I could travel. I must save mo' money.
Also, in relation to title, there's a Mexican restaurant chain in my area called 'La Hacienda.' They're okay for moderately good Tex-Mex. No heart in the food, though; there are better restaurants here.

Sort of following on from Blake... an authentic Mexican restaurant opened up in my city a couple of months ago (as you can imagine, there aren't many Mexicans in Australia and not many good Mexican restaurants - or bad ones either actually, we don't have Taco Bell here xd ). ANYWAY, it's had a lot of buzz - people line up all the way out on the street, so I haven't been able to try it yet. sad
