Zoje scratched Jeds head as they walked into the forest. "Go ahead Jed. I know your dying to experience the outside world." Jed licked the side of face gently and shot another dirty look at Ovan. He strectched his wings and took off.

Ovan shook his head, watching the dragon take off into the sky, "He realy doesnt like me, does he?" He said softly.

Zoje smiled and slid her arm around his waist "He'll get over it. Hes just jealous. Hes used to my attention being focused on him only."

Zoje smiled "Well Jay is quite a bit older. All though, thats not really an excuse seeing as how Jed is only 5 weeks old and is much more intelligent that either of us."

Ovan smiled back to her, "Intelligence is nothing if you have no social skills." He said as the dragon came down, "He still has time to grow though.

Zoje barely suppressed a laugh as Jed flew over Ovans head so close that he had to duck. "Woopsy!" Jed called out, not hiding his sarcasm. He circled around Zoje for a minute before landing on her shoulder again.

Jed rubbed his head agaisnt zojes cheek "Hmmmmm Im not sure. Merekia can we go to your treehouse?" he asked Zoje. Zoje looked at Ovan "Do you mind if we stop by there before heading back?" she asked him.

Ovan laughed, "That sounds alright with me." He said, lightly patting him on the head. It would be nice to see that again.

Jed was about to snap at Ovans hand, but Zoje glared at him and he settled for more smoke tendrils. Zoje took Ovans hand with the arm that wasnt currently Jeds perch, and set off towards the treehouse. After a minute Jed turned to Ovan and asked "Who are you Ovan Maxwell?"

Ovan looked to him smiling, "Im a doctor, I heal people. Here I also teach kids about potions... Also, im ingaged to Zoje here."

Zoje smiled as Jed stared at Ovan for a long while "Yes, it would appear you are." he blew more smoke "There isnt much I can do about that last part of your answer can I?"

Jed snorted "You can stop Morgan from trying to kill me." With that the small dragon launched off of Zojes shoudler and flew ahead to their destination. Zoje rolled her eyes but couldnt resist a smile at Jeds dramatics.
