Well, it is officially Saturday over here... (3:30am) So.... *ponders*
I guess if I were to choose a favorite Comic Book or character ...I would have to say Batman. surprised ...As far as comics such as webcomics or newspaper comicstrips ...I would have to say that I always liked FoxTrot.

In graphic novels, I agree with you about Batman. My second fave would be the prematurely canceled Sojourn series. sad
In webcomics, I would pick Questionable Content. It somehow manages to be serious and dramatic with a joke in nearly every panel. xd And the tone and pacing matches my sense of humor perfectly. Second fave was 8-Bit Theatre. whee
Newspaper comics (a dying artform) are what I cut my comic-reading teeth on. surprised Peanuts will always be my absolute favorite of all time. But FoxTrot is funny, and I'm also fond of NonSequiter.

Agreed, Peanuts is a classic.
I don't really get a chance to read comic strips so net comics is my main source.
I like... Megatokyo, El Goonish Shive, and Questionable Content. But... Devil's Panties, Weregeek, and No Pink Ponies is high up on the list too.

I really do miss the days of Sunday comics from the newspaper.
Even though I personally never really cared for Peanuts, I do agree that it was (is) a classic. heart

Yepness. I remember back when I was a child, every Sunday we would go to my aunts house for Sunday dinner and I'd sit with my great uncle reading the comics and watching Golf on television. I really miss those family days. :3

Awww. I always liked going to other people's homes. I had a super active imagination and would always make it into an adventure. One of my aunts homes was all immaculate, like plastic on the furniture, glass statues everywhere. I always pretended it was a museum.
