In a place where hundreds resided by force, four teenagers and some outside help managed to escape… But not without setting fire to where they lived and killing the rest of the captives in the house. The overseer of the house also got out, taking flight and going to a safe house to lick Its wounds and think of a plan to get revenge on the six teens. It wasn’t as if this house tortured the kids there. The Overseer was only harnessing the power of the children, using them for his own will. They had plenty of recreational time, a well funded education on how to develop their powers, a substantial amount of food, and more then enough time to sleep. They even got to pick where they roomed and if they wanted to move out and in with someone new or not. They had more freedom then the reality teenager, the human ones living with mom and dad. Most had been with the Overseer since they were infants, or too young to remember when anything had been different. Most had never wanted to be any place else. Sure, there were the rebellious growing individuals, but they were still content where they were.
The Overseer was able to get his hands on these kids through the Power Holder War, which took place nationwide. A number of different groups of PH’s holding the same power fought against each other in a terrible, terrible fight for supreme rule. While the parents were out and the kids were alone, the Overseer had his minions swoop in and take them away. But now the war was over, and the parents wondered where their children had gone. The Overseer, unfortunately, is one of the rarest of all PH’s. It is a Creator. Creators reproduce asexually, and can form their offspring to how they want. Creators have a little bit of every power inside of them; they are the ultimate defense, they are the ultimate offense. This is most likely why there are so few of them. One only shows up every hundred generations. But the catch to these Creators is the fact that the more offspring they make, the weaker they become. Their power declines and their offspring become less powerful.
Powers, this was something not everyone had and no human knew about. The variety of the power stretched far and wide; which power they had, how rare or common that power may be, how powerful the power was, and how strong of a will the carrier had to not let the power inside consume them completely. Only Power Holders resided in the flat mansion managed by the Overseer. The young ones were treated as any other toddler, coddled and taught to develop their communicating skills while also developing their power. By the time the kids were of the age of five was when they started their educational training. They were to learn the basics of the everyday life; what the common well schooled high school graduate would know, and then they were also taught to reign in their powers, how to control them, to summon them, and to command them.
So if this is such a wondrous place, why did those kids try and escape? Where they defective and just didn’t have correct wiring… not exact. The kids though had many freedoms among themselves, had no personal freedoms. They could rarely do something without anyone knowing, without permission. Could never make decisions of their own. The few that revolted against the Overseer were the ones that realized what was happening, and were smart enough to not try and recruit the rest of their kind.
With so many of their kind gone, and the Overseer still loose, will they be able to find their parents again even without knowing of the ended war?

Ah yes....The rules.... Please pay attention to them.
Literacy
This means AT LEAST a paragraph per post... I don't mean three scrawny, third world paragraphs. I wan healthy, fat, fluffed up paragraphs. I understand writers block, which is why I am only making it one.. Come on, it's really not hard. Also, please watch your grammar and punctuation. I understand a slip up here and there, no one is perfect, just be careful. Careful spelling would be nice, and don't be afraid to use big words.. They don't bite. I shouldn't have to say this, but us " " for speakings and italics for thoughts. You will use THIRD person throughout this entire roleplay please.. "I walked to the tree." "Ally May walked with a light bounce in her step up to the tall tree."
Characters
You do not have to create your characters word for word what I wrote.. Spice them up, make them unique. I merely pre-created them so the roleplay would have exsisting drama, that's all. Feel free to make new friends, add reasons why you hate so and so, why your with so and so, etc. When it comes to creating all new characters, I don't mind it. .You can have as many charries as you can handle, but I will keep a steady eye on it. Please, use REAL pictures.

Posts
Should be frequent.. I'm thinking you should at least reply once a day at the least. I understand you have a life, but once you join this roleplay, it becomes your responsability. If you remain inactive for a week withouth telling someone, I'm going to send you a pm. If you don't respond within 48 hours, your charrie will be deleted. Also, I like pretty posts. Decorate your posts with colors, pictures, etc. All fonts should be between 9-11. If you have multiple charries, I want a post PER charrie. Do NOT cram three different charries into one post.
Applying
When you apply for a charrie, you need to send me a link to a previous roleplay so I can review your roleplay style and post lengths. I want to be sure you are literate.. I don't want this roleplay infested with one-liner illiterates.. Name your pm 'I just got out'. When you apply, your name will be added to the 'applied' list. Many different people may apply for the same spot, I like competition. Before the roleplay opens, I will choose which profile is best suited and that will be the profile used. If I absolutely adore your previous roleplay's, I may skip ahead and use your profile. It's up to you to amaze me with it.
Reserving
When you reserve, your name will be added to the 'applied' list. Up to four different people may apply for a certain spot. Name your pm 'I'm not going back to It'. when you reserve, you have 24 hours to turn in a completed profile or I will remove your name. Once your name is removed from a certain spot, it does not go back there unless you have a good reason as to why I'm lacking a profile.
Romance
Yeah, sure. Obviously we are going to have romance. Please, make it believeable. If your already with someone, make it seem like it.. If your into someone, make it seem like it.. COME ON PEOPLE!! Don't bore us with 'lovedovey' s**t.. Relationships are never perfect.
Drama
Please. Please. Please. Please. Work with me here. I've already set it up for some, you need to supply the rest. Let's have some cat fights, some wrestling, some good ole'fashion out in the street brawling.. Let's have someone get so drunk he fights everything, lets have some broken chairs, vases, ANYTHING! Plot with another person in this roleplay and bring in another Power Holder that didn't die in the fire. Not everyone died, just a few. And for breaking out that's basically outcasted you from your fellow PH's...except for the ones you're travelling with. I don't want to see you bringing back another PH's from the Overseers and fighting with it. Have another person bring one in, that way you're not godmoding with two of your own charries...one who is temporary. Oh, thats another thing. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO MAKE A TEMPORARY CHARRIE!!! It doesn't have to be a grand profile like your solid charries are, just make a short sum up of the person, bring them in, and have them either die, run off, get captured, anything. You ARE ALLOWED TO DO THAT!!

Common
Object-based powers
Powers derived from objects (also known as artifacts), such as armor, jewelry, weapons, and wands. Not magic based.
Power sensing
Ability to sense or recognize superhuman powers. This can also be mixed with other powers, almost every PH has the power of sensing another PH
Astral projection
Also known as astral travel, this is the ability to separate and control one's astral body.
Empathy
Ability to read or sense the emotions and/or control the emotions or feelings of others.
Premonition
Street name: Sight
Ability to perceive the future. It may be expressed in vague dreams while asleep, other times it can be clear and can occur at will. It may also be used as a form of "danger sense" to show the user that they are being threatened and from what direction it is coming from.
Telepathy
Ability to read the thoughts of, or to mentally communicate with others.
Domination
Street name: Mind Control
The ability to alter the perceptions of others, and general ability to control the actions of others with the mind. Once the user jumps complex boundaries of a persons mind (boundaries vary depending on the person) one can ‘suggest’ things for that subject. Ex. “I think I want to…” “You should…” One can also talk the person into doing what they wish, the subject will only think that it’s their own consciousness. This Does Not Always Work Domination all depends on the will of the person being used on, not the user
Memory manipulation
Ability to erase or enhance the memories of another.
Shadow manipulation
Ability to create or manipulate darkness, often by mentally accessing a dimension of dark energy and manipulating it.
Intangibility
Street name: Phasing
Ability to phase through solid matter without harm.
Light manipulation
Ability to control, generate or absorb light particles.
Elemental Control
Ability to control or manipulate an element: wind, water, earth, fire.
Concussion beams
Ability to generate or transform various forms of energy into a "solid" or concussive beam of energy.
Force field generation
Street name: Shield
Ability to project powerful fields of manipulated energy. Immune to Power Sensing
Teleportation
Ability to move from one place to another without occupying the space in between.
Levitation
Street name: Flight
Ability to lift off the ground, to ride air currents or to fly self-propelled through the air.
Illusion
Ability to alter or deceive the perceptions of another. Can be sensory, a light or sound-based effect, or an alteration of mental perceptions.
Shapeshifting
Ability to change appearance or body structure. Weak shapeshifters only allows the subject to transform into one specific animal. Strong shapeshifters, or ‘true shapeshifters’ can transform into any animal on mind or into the last animal they saw.
Elasticity
Ability to stretch, deform, expand or contract one's body into any form they can imagine.
Size shifting
Ability to increase or decrease one's size.
Moderate
Accelerated healing
Street name: Regeneration
Ability to heal rapidly from any injury; the rate of recovery varies from character to character. Can sometimes result in the slowing of aging.
Invulnerability
Ability to be immune to one or more forms of physical damage.
Telekinesis
Ability to manipulate and control objects with the mind, often in ways not visible to the naked eye.
Psionic blast
Ability to overload another's mind causing pain, memory loss, lack of consciousness, vegetative state or death after having created a psionic link into that individual's mind.
Weather manipulation
Street name: Weather Control
Ability to control or mentally affect the weather. This includes the ability to generate various natural phenomena (rain, tornadoes, lightning, ocean currents, etc.) or control the intensity of the weather. Mainly an emotion controlled power.
Hallucination Induction
Ability to generate special neurotoxins that overwhelm another's senses and alter his/her perception of reality. Has to be in close proximity to be noticably effective. Rare
Creator
Ability to reproduce asexually and spawn off. The reproduced subjects can be formed into having any of the powers a PH may have. A Creator is an ultimate defense and offense for it has trundles of every power, making it immune. This power only comes every hundred generations.
Molecular manipulation
Ability to mentally manipulate the molecules of objects and/or one's self on a molecular level. Molecular Combustion is the ability to speed up molecules or to blow things up. Molecular Immobilization is the ability to completely halt the flow of time by slowing down the molecules of the world around them till they stop completely.
Pyrokinesis
Ability to control, ignite and extinguish fire, using the powers of one's mind.
Complete Elemental Control
Ability to have complete control over all four elements
Elemental transmutation
Street name: Transmutation
The ability to alter chemical elements, changing them from one substance to another by rearranging the atomic structure. May be limited to self-transmutation.

____ → Shapeshifter → male, open → , main personality → Normally keeps to himself and looks after the group. Subconsciously he tries to prove himself better than Dale. Has unknowingly assumed the role of the adult out of the group.
____ → Elemental Transmutator → male, open → , main personality → Brains of the group. He stays in the background until his word is needed when the group is trying to decide something. Though he knows he's right, Dale can often be found bickering with Sophia about anything.
____ → Intangibility with Premonition → male, open → , main personality → Three years before he had escaped the Overseers mansion, then came back and helped the group escape from Overseers estate. He can normally be found off to the side talking with Emily.
Sophia → Pyrokinesis → female, taken → Blood Written in Stone, main personality → Kind of the mother of the group. She's always trying to help and is always cleaning up after the guys. She's outspoken and curious. Oftenly sometimes she has to bail herself out, or be bailed out of, trouble that she gets herself into. Normally tries to include Tristan and Emily in her, Derek, and Dales affairs.
____ → Psionic Blast → female, open → , main personality → Three years before she had escaped the Overseers mansion, then came back and helped the group escape the Overseers estate. She's uncomfortable in her own skin. She's very serious and is very self-conscious, though only Tristan knows about her self-esteem. She hates her power, thinks turning someones brain to mush is too inhumane but she'll use it when absolutely necessary. She doesn't like Sophia, hates how she's so comfortable with the guys.Additional characters Raven → extreme empathic abilities. → Female, reserved → Rainweaver1314, main personality → Raven is shy at first but once she gets to know you she becomes outspoken and likes to challenge you. She loves the little things in life and likes to calculate many aspects of the world. She doesnt quite understand human emotions and why they happen the way they do.
