And no, Im not saying your religion is wrong, its just that Im athiest and I think some religions are better off never made. It would be better without the wars over religion

I agree with what Apple says, BUT I'm throwing in a twist.

You see, there is no proof that God does or doesn't exist...
However, reasoning tells me that God would have to defy many laws of physics to exist and have some killer cheat codes and I don't believe that.
If you're a person who think faith is all that is needed here than I wont disagree. However, don't look me in the eye and give me some mumbo-jumbo BS theory.

P.S. Christianity isn't the MOST messed up religion.

I personally am getting tired of seeing the scientology comercials on cable now. The "inventor" admitted that he made it up.

I'm sorry if all your horrible experiences at the hands of religious people have been dealt by people who call themselves Christians. There are some very beautiful principles in that religion though. If they were truly adhered to by all who claim it as their own, then the world would look much different. It is a shame that so many people just use religion to further their agendas, and that goes for religions across the board.

Sorry to be off topic, but I find the Scientology commercials rather intriguing. I've seen them mostly on the channels that my kids watch, and on the Sci-fi and BBCA channels to a lesser extent. I always must stop and look at the faces flashing on the screen. I don't know, but I think they may be trying to brainwash me... rolleyes LOL

No actually, there were to many religion wars to count.
If a man, different religion confronted another man of another religion and says

"Hey I can kill you since you don't believe in my god"

Its as simple as that. Most people say "I only do bad things becase Jesus/God/{-Another religious god-}, especially during the 9/11

The wars would have happened anyway, and I think that the wars are more of a people issue than they are a religious issue. Wars happen because people are bad, not because the religion itself is bad.
If religion had been removed, then wars would still have happened, but a different ideology would have been used to convince the masses to pick up a weapon. Personally, I believe it would be love for the state / extreme patriotism that would fill the void.

Christianity isn't one of the worst religions out there, by far. Millions of dollars are raised per year by Christians for charity, and many Christian aid groups are out there helping people. Sure, we have our nuts, but so does everybody, and there were many people who had a decent meal to eat and a warm place to sleep last night because of a Christian.
