Kristin slowly walked into the crowded Hermes cabin. She wore a long black shirt with torn denim jeans. She put her bag on her bunk and slowly sat down. She looked around the cabin, which was quiet at the moment. The others must be out practicing... She sighed and laid down, resting her head on her pillow. She'd unpack later, after she got a feel for things.

Henri heard the familiar creaking of the bunk beds in his cabin, and slowly, he opened his eyes. He sat up, let out a small yawn, and looked around. He was a light sleeper, which made sense since his father was the God of thieves, and thieves were suppose to be alert even when they were sleeping.
His grey eyes scanned the cabin and landed on an unfamiliar looking girl sleeping in one of the unoccupied beds. He tilted his head to one side, frowning. Was she unclaimed or a child of Hermes? Although many Minor Gods and Goddesses now claimed their children, there were still a few who didn't know who their Godly parent was. He shook his head slightly. Whatever. As the cabin's counselor, he had to greet her either way. Forcing a smile onto his face, he walked over to her, looking at her curiously. Was she asleep? If she was, he didn't want to wake her.

Kristin breathed in slowly, her chest rising with every breath. The cabin was still and quiet. She heard someone moving around the cabin and opened her eye a crack- just enough to see the figure of the boy. She noticed his camp t-shirt and opened her eyes all the way, leaning up on her elbows.

Henri stared as the girl opened her eyes and leaned up on her elbows. He blinked at her, and then took a step back to giver her some space. Though his face remained blank, he was quite surprised that the girl didn't wake up screaming seeing a random guy in front of her face.
Running a hand through his hair, Henri looked at the girl one more time before giving her a thin smile. "Hey," he said, trying his best to sound friendly. "The name's Henri. I'm the counselor of this cabin, making me Hermes' kid." he paused for a moment, looking at the girl curiously. "And you are...?"

Kristin stared up at the boy for a moment, looking him over. If he was a son of Hermes- that would make him her half-brother, right? She sat up all the way, and stood, facing him. "I'm Kristin, also a kid of Hermes." She held her hand out slowly for him to shake. "Nice to meet you." Her voice was quiet.

Henri nodded at the girl, and took her hand, shaking it. "Cool." he said, trying to sound interested. "That makes you my half sister right? I'm starting to think that our dad is having a bit too much of free time." Henri looked at Kristin, noticing that she was a rather quite girl. He smiled at this fact. That was a good thing. The Hermes cabin was loud enough already.
((Sorry if Henri seems like a meanie. It's his personality. xD ))

Kristin laughed a bit before sitting back down on her bunk. She looked around at the other kids and nodded. "Way too much free time." She grinned and looked back at Henri. "Have you ever met him?"

Henri nodded his head once and then after crossing his arms, sat down cross legged on a nearby sleeping bag. "I have met him one and a half times." he said and smiled faintly "I met him for the first time during a field trip to Mount Olympus, and he contacted me once through Iris message in order to congratulate me in becoming the counselor of the Hermes cabin." Henri cocked his head to one side, and grinned. "The Iris message doesn't really count."
Henri stood up again, and started walking towards the door. Once he reached it, he turned to face Kristin again. "Have fun...If you ever need anything, just give me a shout, or just ask one of the kids here." Henri paused, and then frowned. "Scratch that. Don't talk to any of the Ares kid unless it's an emergency. They don't really like the new kids..." Henri ran a hand through his already messy hair again, and then left.

Melanie walked into the hermes cabin alittle confused and uncertain of what to do. She wore a black shirt with three wolves howling at the moon printed on it with Black jeans and her hair pulled back in a tight pony-tail. She looked around the small crowded room and smiled alittle. This is going to be one bizzar summer. "Um" she said nervously "Is there anywhere i can set up?"

Cassie's face appeared at the window, it dissapeared and a moment later she wandered into the cabin. Her eyes landed on the girl standing in the middle of the room, she giggled, "Hi, I'm Cassie. I'm new, so I'm exploring. Are you new too? I bet you are, because you've like, got your bags there. You look uncomfotable too, but you might like, totally not be, I could just be nosy, but I'm good with people, my dad used to say all the time, so I think I'm right. To be honest I probably am. And you know like, if you're new and I'm new we should totally be friends." She said this all very fast and then laughed again, "What'd you say your name was?"

Melanie looked at her funny. "Hi..." she said putting down her bag on the floor "Yeah i'm new just got here this afternoon." she smiled trying to hold back a laugh at this girls enthusiasum "I'll hang out with you. But let me get to know you before i say we're friends" I honestly don't think i'll like this girl but who knows. She walked ove to her "want to explore?" she asked smiling.

Cassie tilted her head to the side and pouted, "You know I think you really should brighten up, you're lucky someone wants to hang out with that attitude," Her head sprang back and her mouth broke into a wide, pearly smile, "But I know we'll be friends, because friends are for people who're socibale, no, sociable, and I'm a very sociable person- everyone says. I think it's because I'm like, from California, and there's sun in Calli, lots and lots of it, and sun makes people happy. So I think, I'm like, a natural people person because of it. We had to move though, because of the monsters like, wanted to kill me, bummer, right? Did that happen to you? I bet it did, otherwise you didn't need protection. Anyway let's go!" And she skipped out the cabin, humming.
