Meaning, things you generally just can't stand, might it be on your own or others', even professionals', art. Name it, rant a little, and explain why.
I personally have a hard time not getting to a sarcastic, hateful level when I ciritsize somebody who just doesn't get facial anatomy, especially from the side. It's common in my advanced arts course at school that people just place the eyes on the forehead or the mouth directing cornering the chin- Or, almost worse, put the front view of eyes when drawing the side of a head. REALLY obvious anatomy-issues are also something I personally can't stand, like way too short bodies or small necks. When it comes to professional artists, there are just some ways of shading that I can't stand. I'm not sure which artist did Batman- Midnight in Gotham or something like that and don't really want to look it up right now, but the way he shades everything on the inking-level and uses a really flat coloration otherwise REALLY bugs me and generally keeps me from buying his work. Naturally, Rob Liefeld is always a shameful mention as well. I'm just not the guy who likes overly sexualized women that couldn't work in real-life and always walk on tiptoes and men with tights double the size of their head, covered in pouches so much that even the pouches have pouches, and yet, really tiny feet.

hahaha good old leifeld if anything i usually see his work as just an extreeeeeme exaggeration of the human body like say a cartoon, he's just really (heavily) stylized its still amazing that he got any work at all
also as much as i like looking at abstract art, it just really irks me that splatters of paint can suddenly be fine art its like almost anyone can do it but at the same time not anyone can do it
my biggest peeve only pertains to a friend of mine, but he always bugs me on the style my art has been taking on lately he is big into anime and always complains when my characters dont have huge eyes and pointy chins and long hair
i just wish he would accept it and not be like 'hurr its not animu change it'
and yeah, glaringly obvious errors in other people's drawings always gets me everytime

There is nothing wrong with realism. I don't like it when people keep telling me not to draw anime. Normally, I actually prefer to draw more realistic looking anime characters. Actually the freakishly large eyes and the big hair is a turnoff for me.

I like most art. What bothers me the most is the lack of understanding or meaning within the art itself. If the art has no meaning, underlying or obvious, it doesn't work on a level that people can understand. Though I doubt there is art like that out there, it is possible. Everyone has there own understanding, I guess. I just don't like the ones that are completely off base and more like random thoughts off the top of someone's head rather than thought out interpretations.
That and distorted art works. There is little originality in that.

I'm not big into abstract art. There's a huge difference bettween something's shape being abstracted and a work being wholly abstract. Abstract Art had it's place in history when people weren't allowed to openly express themselves under tyranical governments. I feel that now it's mostly used by lazy artists that want to make a quick buck, and purchased by people that just want it to match their home interior. They are still a few exceptional pieces of abstract art but that's usually because the style best conveys an idea or feeling.
I also hate it when people hide hands and feet because they can't draw them well, because it'd pretty obvious that they're hiding it.

Like I said, there's little originality in those works and little overall style and sophistication. I'm not saying it has to be sophisticated, just that it isn't too obviously quick and spontaneous.

As someone mentioned above, I hate it when people tell me not to draw anime. I'm no beginner and I've dabbled in many other styles, yet anime always sits on top and well for me. I just can't look at abstract. I just don't have "the eye" or taste for it at all.

It pisses me off the most when I make an awesome picture and my sister either ruin it or copy it.
Everytime I draw something, my little sister has to copy. She sometimes traces over it and messes it up

I also hate it when people hide hands and feet because they can't draw them well, because it'd pretty obvious that they're hiding it. That is.. not quite right. The point about history that is. Abstract forms of art came as certain movements against the more realistic forms to some degree, like expressionism was the counterpart of naturalism, taking not exactly what you see, but how you feel about it and trying to portray it. In times like the NS-regime in germany abstract art as a whole was forbidden and realistic, naturalistic forms preferred, especially those close the the old greek forms of art. Minus the actual color they had. All kinds of "modern" art have their certain history, but it never really just was "oh well, they weren't allowed to show it in usual manners so they hid it". That doesn't quite work with the concept of art as it. Like Dadaism, the Anti-Art, was a movement against conventional forms. More abstract or surreal pieces are often meant to portray feelings way more than actual impressions. Just wanted to clarify that.

I hate it when people are cliche.
For one of our art finals, this one girl made a heart-shaped self-portrait with a crooked line down the middle and drew her face in make-up. She explained it by saying she was recently heart broken (so, in addition, she was attention seeking)
I have yet to master faces (I'm much better a drawing bodies) however I do know the proportions of the face (eyes halfway from top to chin, knows halfway between eyes and chin, etc) so while the proportions are correct, the face doesn't always look like the person I'm drawing.
