Can you prove to me that you aren't also forwarding their agenda by getting your members in a "fight or flight" frame of mind. It seems to me that a massive "one world" organization could easily advance their ideals by setting up an opposition and making them look like a group of fear mongers.

We have to deal with such reality all the time. Even what we do can just be spun by them to their advantage.

I learned recently that its good to keep a certain perceptive perspective. Or rather a proper point of view. Now we as this gaian guild are DEDICATED to awareness and spreading awareness, because in our perspective its all we can ******** do.

Would you rather we didn't? Would you rather no one did? Would you rather everyone look at all the injustices, perceived or real, and be like "Oh, that's dangerous. I should just keep my head down so it won't be cut off by corporate criminals."

If you do rather, then maybe this guild just isn't the place for you.

Goodday.

Fear me, love me, do as I say.......

Why do we pit against each other? Man fighting man, and for what? For power that can be shared equally? How can we ever hope to invite any other race to coexist with us if we cannot even coexist with one another? Peaceful civil disobedience. We all start the same, and we can all be completely equal, if people would just put forth the effort to work for it.

And I will be your slave........

why would they want an opposition when they have been working in the background for years? what you said doesn't make sense to me at all. They don't want to bring attention to themselves or they would make the same mistake that other dictators have made.

Goodday.
Your front page said "question everything, even us", I'm questioning.

If it is your perspective that you can do piss all, why not look at the power of fiction writers? Why not look at how much overlooked power we willingly put in the hands of artists?

You see corporate criminals with too much power to take down, I see a bunch of pigeons who are to puffed up by seeing themselves as the biggest bird in the yard to see Reynard creeping up on them.

It is human nature, we see limited resources and seek to control them for ourselves. Look at our history, is there any example of power being shared equally among all members of a group? We don't all start the same. No matter what should be, our paths are differentiated at birth by nurture and our parent's social standing. We might all be equal one day, but it would take such a societal change as to be very nearly impossible.

Take someone like me, a person who is against big government power and big corporations that can take away family's land under the dictate of "eminent domain", but who is skeptical of most mentions of the supernatural. A group that is against a massive world government and can give examples or even proof of possible moves by said government to take away rights and freedoms would be embraced and watched with great interest. Have that group bring in the possibilities of extraterrestrials and the skeptic is likely to cast the group aside as being a bunch of conspiracy theorists. A well developed "Big Brother" government would use mock opposition movements to turn skeptics more to its side, I think.

Combine that with the seemingly predominant pastime of smoking marijuana and Big Brother doesn't really need anymore ammunition to cast Truthers to the side.

Personally, I'm a conspiracy buff. Some conspiracies I am more inclined to believe than others, but I always enjoy a good conspiracy theory even if just for the lulz.

There are tons of people who believe in conspiracy who do not believe in aliens. I personally do not believe in aliens. Just because aliens have been talked about on this guild doesn't mean the guild as a whole believes in aliens.

I do enjoy reading conspiracy theories for the lulz sometimes, but I'm usually disinclined to believe them.

But all it takes is one visible person talking about them to make me personally start to question the entire group.

So pretty much she's asking "What proof do we have that they truly are a threat when even those who we believe are our allies and fellow truthers could be members of them trying to make more chaos and false claims?"

Is that right?
