I've been considering the factors surrounding this item's success in the MP and the fragile possibility that it may be a very good investment.
Factors hindering my being able to accurately predict the success of this item include that these items are a new type of item without a history, that the animations are scheduled to stop at one point, and the redistribution of these items is questionable.
Something tells me the spectacular golden halo may be an exception among the three animated items, as even the still pose still resembles our historic golden halo... probably more accurately than any other halo we've ever been given.
So, share your thoughts about what you feel could be the future of the halo, and if you feel like it might be worth the risk of investing in a few.
Also, if you do feel like it will be a good investment, when is the best time to buy?... right before it leaves the CS, or after the animation stops?

I have mixed feelings on this one.
You've hit most of the high points, the major one being this is the closest clone of the elusive Angelic Halo we've seen to date. (The Noel's Gift's Five Gold Rings is close, but not quite a cigar.)
The big questions become: how important is the animation? Apparently there's that item from the Daily Chance for extending the animation, but really, is the animation the important part? Or finally having something that's a gold halo? And how much will do people like the non-animated pose, with the sparkle thingie?
Will they rerelease it? It's a Cash Shop item, and so while it's "limited edition" - there's NOTHING that says they can't release a second edition. Or third. Or gazillionth. This is the really big difference between this item and the original.
It's an investment with risk, and your personal risk tolerance is the determining factor as to whether you want to sink some gold or cash into this one.
If you're going to invest, watch the prices, and buy when it cycles low for a little. There's a potential window for a good price when the animation stops - but again, that goes back to answering the question of how important the animation is vs. the item itself, and it's simply a big unknown right now.

I agree with purplewiz, animated items are a big unknown right now. It Could be really big or they might make better animated items and this one flops. We'll have to wait and see how these go so we can better predict what will happen to the next few batches of AIs.

Uhm well I'm not good at predicting the future of items but this halo thing seems to have lot of chances as you all know its not like the real Angelic halo that all ppl desire but is the closes thing to it this is economics... its a new type of item (animated ones) it might be a new whole market for em or not thats the risk my point here is there's a lot of chances that this new line of items can take the place of the popular items at this moment is like the mc that somehow got replaced for evolving items then the bundle items appears and the evolving items got their quality decreased a lil now this animated items the animation will stop and i dont understand why maybe gaia is saving a big surprise for us maybe not all about this is a risk as in all investments personally sometimes I don't care of losing a lil gold if I do really like the item and even if you spent too much and its shows as a bad invesment well remember that the older the item is the most expensive becomes so if you wait you'll be able to recover your investment (weird uh? thats how gaia works o.o)

I have the item from the Daily Chance, and it only extends the animation for like a month. So trying to keep the animation going is kind of useless, in my opinion.

The animation looks much better than the item itself. The non-animation, to me, looks hideous. I wouldn't and haven't bought it because they might not continue with them animation items so it would look hideous forever.

In accordance with the thoughts of both of you, I also agree that this item, although looks closest to the golden halo, isn't the best looking.
With this in mind, and the factor that many are already hoarding this with hopes that it will be as successful as our original halo, I think that it may indeed go up once they've taken it from the cash shop, but not significantly enough to prove it to be a good hoard. My best advice would be to not invest all your gold into this one, but rather keep a small hoard instead.
