I have a bit of a problem. I'm on the "Mystery at Harlun's Watch" mission, and I'm in the cave investigating the trolls. I go to where the green arrow leads me...and....nothing.
Nothing happens. So, I am assuming one of two things.
1. Since I've raided the cave before hand, I accidentally messed myself up.
2. My disc is scratched, and it's not reading the quest properly.
I'm kind of at a loss here...I want to finish the Fighter's Guild, since I've already finished Theives Guild, Mages Guild, and Dark Brotherhood. And I want to get on with other missions before I tackle the main quest.

It should have spawned the body of one of those missing settler guys, and there should be a bunch of trolls in the cave.
You will need to clear all the trolls from both the first zone of Swampy Cave and from the second zone, 'Swampy Cave Dry Rock Run'. When you've killed all the Trolls you should get another pop up message telling you to report back to Drarana Thelis.
If you've already cleared the entire cave complex of every troll there is, and you've found the body of the dude, and there's nothing left to do in the Swampy cave place, try heading back and talking to that Drarana Thelis person. She will inform you that it would be great if you cleared out all the trolls. Return to the cave and wander around until another troll appears, kill it, after this your all clear window should appear.
If it's still not working, well, I don't really know what else to tell you. Aside from starting over and not clearing out any quest essential locations. sweatdrop
Hope this helps, and if it helps any I know how much stuff like this sucks. If you're still stuck on this quest, and you don't want to go do the Main Quest, and you don't feel like starting over (which would be a huge pain in the posterior considering the amount of time spent reaching this point) I guess the only thing you really can do is to find every other mission available...

It's not only quests and stuff though. There are multiple charts concerning just about every thing there is in the game. Equipment, Quests, Maps, Price variations of different items from store to store. Just about everything.

Thanks for that. I'll double check everything. I was sure I had already got all the trolls. biggrin

I missed one troll. One.....effing....troll....
Where the hell was he?! scream I went through that cave three to five times.....
Now, it's making me go back to the bodies, and I'm still getting no message saying to go back to my contact. I'm essentially back at square one....

But, I did have to go and get through it with another character. And I'm going to have to do the main quest with another character as well, because on the character I started it with, Martin's not wearing his damned armor in the fight for Bruma. [/facepalm]
So, I'm going to try with another character, since I'm making a character for every race anyways. ...I hold this lantern to be your guiding light.
