Kame'bufuu was meandering about once again, taking his time in his journey. He was going to be returning soon to the women who had already agreed to join him in his small harem, or as he called it a community. None of the women who agreed to be with him were forced or coerced into doing so, it wasn't honorable of him to even think to act that way. These women were given the option, and proposed his offer; protection from harm, freedom to do as they pleased, and the ability to leave whenever they wished. His only stipulations being that they fed him and bore him children. He didn't find the offer bad at all, and a much more suitable solution than struggleing to survive.
It did not take Kame long to spot the family in the distance, many of them females. He figured he might as well propose to them the same thing he had done to Tai and Kinaya. Perhaps there were several in this group who felt they would like something similar to his proposal. Kame decided to approach cautiously.

Lhach and her family were relaxing under the shade when Wahadi spotted a dark shape moving in the distance. He watched the dark shape from the ground for a few seconds, at least until he realized that the shape was moving directly towards them, and stood to get a better look. He was small for his age, slightly smaller than an adolescent female, but he was tall enough to see above the grass. The lion was approaching from downwind, but judging by his size he was probably a male. Wahadi flattened his ears.
Lhach and her mother were both excellent fighters. Wahadi knew this first hand. Lhach's twin brother was also pretty good in a scuff. All he had to do was wake them and they could confront the male together to see what he wanted. But, perhaps unfortunately, Wahadi was never one to back down from a fight, even against a larger opponent. He also felt he owed Lhach's family for all the help they'd given him. This would be the perfect opportunity to pay them back.
Wahadi walked briskly through the grass, keeping both eyes on the larger male. As he closed the distance between them he noticed the skulls on the dark male's back, the fang markings, and last of all his eyes. The fur stood up on his back. He didn't like the look of this other male. But he wasn't intimidated, oh no.
When he was only a few yards off, Wahadi called, "Hey you! Where do you think you're going?"

Kame'bufuu's bristled for a moment. He was caught off guard by the voice and had not yet seen the little male in the tall grass. He scanned for him with his bright red eyes and finally spotted the dark hair tuft of the young male within the grass.
Kame couldn't help but raise a brow at the young male. He wondered why the boy felt the need to come and confront him. He could only assume it was to protect the females only a ways off. It was a noble endeavor to him, even if slightly misguided. He did not mean harm to the females down the way, but the boy probably did not know this.
"Wherever I please young lion," Kame said, drawing closer to him, "I was going to speak to those females over there, but it seems you're going to try and stop me from doing so. Am I correct?"

"Maybe," he answered boldly. Kame might look like a freak, but Wahadi knew better than to mistake him for a true monster. Kame did not deserve fear.
He held his ground, waiting for Kame to explain himself. Yet in spite of his bravado, Wahadi knew better than to underestimate his foes. He needed to be on guard in case Kame tried a sneak attack. So far Kame seemed fairly calm. Wahadi couldn't say for certain whether he was lying or telling the truth about 'just wanting to talk', but his story sounded ******** suspicious as hell.

"Maybe? Maybe is not an answer," Kame retorted, sensing the tone of the younger lions voice. He did not trust him and Kame did not blame him for his weariness; however, distrust and suspicion never excused rudeness in Kame's mind.
His voice became slightly more authoritative as he spoke to him next, "I am Kame'bufuu. Who are you young lion?"
Kame stood there and did not budge. If an altercation were to occur, he would not be the one to instigate it by advancing on the young lion. He would, however, be the one to finish it.

"Wahadi. And my answer is no." He narrowed his eyes. He was getting fed up with Kame calling him young. True, Wahadi was not yet an adult, but he felt like he had been an adult for a long time now. Hardship forced him to grow up fast.

"If your answer is no than I'll be on my way and continue to them," Kame said, sensing the boy's agitation. It did not matter to Kame, because Wahadi was still technically younger in comparison to him. He did not mean it in experience, but in age.
He began to continue forward on his original purpose and drew closer to the boy, relaxed and unafraid of the younger male. Kame's pelt carried his scars of battle, many visible on his legs, but none on his body.

Lhach's family had the advantage over Kame in numbers. Since most of them were fighters, Wahadi included, even though he was merely traveling with them, there should have been nothing to worry about, so long as they all kept an eye on Kame. But Wahadi was blinded by anger. He let Kame get close to him, then whirled around and slashed his claws across the black male's shoulder.

Kame heard the rustle of the grass beneath Wahadi's feet and ducked to the side, though not nearly in time to be safe from being hit by the boy's claws. Kame felt them rip at his flesh, though it was not a clean cut, more of having something drug across you, ripping here and there in what looked like a line. The wound began to collect blood, but it was hard to see against the black of his coat.
Kame whipped around quickly, sheathed paw coming in contact with Wahadi's head. He did not want to kill the boy, but he would teach him what happens when someone attacks while enraged and how heavily it clouted one's judgement, and he'd do it without having to leave a scratch on him.
"Do not start what you are incapable of finishing." Kame said, his voice deep and threatening.

Wahadi stumbled back as poka dots popped up before his eyes. He shook himself and let out a furious sound, somewhere between a snarl and a roar. He blinked as the spots faded away and set eyes on Kame again. He growled, "Is that all you got, b***h?"
With that Wahadi charged at Kame again. He tried to fake Kame out by charging in from the front and changing direction abruptly to hit him from the side, but he was still dizzy and his agility was impaired.

"You run your mouth too much," Kame stated, now on guard and watching as Wahadi came at him. The boy was obviously still jogged from the blow to his head as was apparent by his inability to keep his speed to where it previously was.
Kame took the blow to the side from Wahadi, though it did not phase him badly. Wahadi's impairment reached through each aspect of his fighting and not simply his speed. Kame decided that impairment leading to him being indisposed would be the best course of action. At most the boy will be knocked out for an hour or so, and be sore for the next few days. At least that's how he ideally wanted this to go.
As Wahadi rebounded from the attempted blitz attack to the side, Kame went after him, raising both his front legs and attempting to slam them down on Wahadi's backside to make him tumble to the ground.

Still reeling from Kame's first attack, Wahadi jumped backward barely avoiding Kame's legs. It didn't help that he'd received a crippling blow to the head a few days prior from the hoof of a gazelle. He grit his teeth and endured the pain.
After the close call dodging Kame's attack Wahadi started to back away. He needed a moment to get his bearings back, so it was time to go on the defensive. Fur standing on end, he growled at Kame, ready to sink his claws into the dark male's muzzle if he came near.

Kame's paws hit the ground hard as Wahadi had dodge, dust cloud emerging from beneath the dark fur. Kame's paws throbbed dully from hitting the hard ground, the pain would soon pass as he readied himself upright, facing Wahadi.
The boy had gone into a defensive position, giving off a growl that did nothing but put a mild smirk across his face. Wahadi was trying his best, but he was highly unskilled. To Kame, the boy's attacks had no strategy or purpose behind them. He was simply attacking blindly and infuriated. He was like a street brawler and Kame noted it quickly.
Kame let off a low growl, and ducked his head. He decided on a direct approach this time. He was going to charge the boy and drag him right to the ground. Kame was growing bored with this lesson and was wanting to now end it. He raised his haunches and with a powerful thrust took off towards Wahadi. Kame's speed was average, but he had quite a bit of stamina and force behind each push of his legs. He went for the tackle.

The attack was sudden. Wahadi tried to move out of the way, but Kame was too fast for him. He went down hard hitting the ground shoulder first. Even in such a vulnerable position, Wahadi never thought of giving up. He pushed his back legs against Kame's stomach, trying in vein to push him off, and swung his paw in the hope of striking Kame across the face.

Wahadi managed to hit Kame in the face, but it wasn't something he hadn't endured before. The pain was familiar to him from his waring days in his old pride. It didn't keep him from wincing however. The face was one of the more sensitive places of the body, so there was always going to be significant amounts of pain associated with that blow.
While Wahadi scrapped at Kame's face and tried to kick at Kame's stomach, he lifted himself off the boy. There was no malice in the lion's eyes, but no empathy either. The adolescent was the one who had decided to start this encounter, hot headed and on edge. Lessons had to be taught in order to not make the same mistakes again.
Kame rose one of his paws high and quickly brought it down on the boys stomach. The sheer force of the blow enough to knock the wind out of Wahadi for the next ten minutes, and keep him terribly sore for the next few days.
