I was thinking of how I first began to like Lady gaga because im like totally hooked! I first heard of Lady gaga in the summer listening to Venetian Princess' parody of Poker Face. I heard the real poker face and I listened to all of her songs and from then on my fave singer was lady gaga! So how did you start to like Lady gaga? question

You know .. I used to DISlike her .. Amazing, huh?
When I heard Just Dance .. I was like .. Is this worth downloading? Nah .. Then I heard Pokerface .. then I looked her up on Google. And I was like .. Wtf is she wearing? Is some chick really wanting that much attention to call herself Lady Gaga? Haha!
Then Paparazzi and Bad Romance came out .. I was hooked. What transferred me from hooked status to obsessed status was YouTubing all of her "vocal" videos. Her singing was amazing. A girl who knew she had real classical talent, but still had the power to manipulate the masses and make a catchy song .. nothing more sexy than that to me! biggrin

I know right! I had no clue who she was until I saw her Idol performance last year and I guess I disliked her..... sweatdrop

I use to think of her as another crazy and slutty pop star.I first heard Poker Face and liked it but I still didn't get her.Then I saw the Bad Romance music video, and thought"Hey this chick isn't that bad.", I loved the video and the song but I still wasn't won over yet.After that, I saw a live performance of her on the piano, I saw it and thought "Oh wow, she can sing and play the piano..that's nice." then she stated playing with her foot and at that moment I said. "Ok, I gotta look up this chick some more..."
Between dozens of interviews,seeing how dedicated she was to her fans and music,how she rose up by playing at clubs for years versus getting her fame overnight,her support for the gay community being genuine,doing so much for charity and her attitude and philosophies towards life all won me over.I didn't realize how clever this woman was and for someone so young to achieve what she has done is really inspiring.
She has reinstalled my faith in the music industry and for once in my 18 years of living, I can finally say that I have a real life role model.People may call me pathetic but I derive so much of my motivation and inspiration from this woman. Around the time that I started listening to her, I was suffering from panic attacks and dealing with the death of my cousin.
I believe GaGa and her music really helped me pull through that period in my life and today I feel great about myself and my future.
She taught me to just dance because it's gonna be okay. ;]

Yeah, I know what you guys mean .. I used to listen to hip hop and hip hop only. My music idols were people like Tupac and Bone Thugs N Harmony .. Believe me, I would have never thought in a million years that an addition to that group would be a woman .. or should I say, a Lady.
I used to care about what other people think. I'm straight, and every time I say that I like and appreciate Lady Gaga, people crack jokes about me being a closet gay. Lmao. Oh well? They're missin' out is all I'm saying.
And I'm also sorry to hear about the death of your cousin, Sam.
But truly, such success and talent at age 24 is still befuddling to me. I guess anything's possible.

Oh my, I used to be scared of Gaga.{yeah i know crazy right?!} I think its because i didn't give her a chance. I was just another scene kid listening to screamo and when i heard Just Dance, i was like " this songs ok but is this singer just an other drunken whore?" So i decided to watch a music video from Lady gaga and it happen to be Love Game. Need less to say i was scared of her in that video. xD I think it was because she kept opening her legs in the music video. So i disliked her until i saw her perform on MTV music awards. OMG! pure art! When i saw how beautiful her singing was live and how she dose a show it blow my mind!! Ever since then i have been OBSESSED!! yeah she's pretty hot. Im going to marry her one day.^^! <3

The first time I heard of Lady Gaga was with my brother and his friends.. They were saying something about her and when I heard them say her name I was like "What a stupid name?!" yet I still haven't heard her sing.. During school vacations of 2009 we went to Mexico and my brother had "Poker Face" on his PSP music and I started liking it and I got obsessed with that song.. Later when we came back I was with my friend and she had "Bad Romance" on her MySpace profile and when I heard it I got hooked onto that song.. Later on another friend went on YouTube and I saw the MV for it and I said "What a crazy b***h!" and I was somehow disgusted of it.. Then I just kept listening to "Bad Romance" and watching the MV and I just got so obsessed with it and later I asked my friend what was her favorite Gaga song and she said "Telephone" so I searched it on Google to listen to it and I read that they were planning an MV for it and I was like "Awesome!" and at that time I was in love with the "Bad Romance" MV.. Then I kept reading updates about it and with that I also did some research on Gaga and I noticed she's done so much good deeds and was such a committed person to her fans and that she cares for every Little Monster out there in the world and I fell in love with her because she'snot one of those people who care about money and wants fame and does publicity stunts.. Gaga is truly magnificent.. And now I'm waiting for "Alejandro" MV to be released.. And if I can, help Gaga "CHANGE THE WORLD ONE SEQUIN AT A TIME."

Haha, I personally think that it's super awesome reading these comments and seeing how mostly everyone started off by barely liking her or not even liking her .. or even DISliking her. xD

Like today i was doing my Zumbia classes and my dance teacher played Poker face biggrin DD and now it's our new song to dance toooooo!!!!!!!! it was amazing everyone got into the song and sang along! it was amazing. Gaga would be proud! :'D
