Chapter Thirteen: Algendars
 
Solaris---Lloyd
"SOLARIS!"
The guildmaster's head turned sharply at his name, spotting that orange and steel-colored Weavile from the hospital running up.
Larry...or something.
"What is it, Luke?"
"Lloyd." The ice type grumbled, out of breath. It seems he had run all the way to the guild.
"Whatever."
"We found it. We found out where the sickness is coming from!"
The Espeon's eyes widened.
"Then...then there may be a cure there! I'll alert the guild!"
Solaris turned tail and rushed to the warning bell, raising his front paws to strike it with exuberance.
Finally, an end to the madness. They could stop this insanity and cure the infected Pokemon.
As the Espeon turned back around, the grim expression on the Morgue Assitance face was enough to make his stomach flip.
"...you didnt let me finish...I'm afraid it wont be that easy."
It never was.

Solaris---Ami---Xavier---Jasper---Rayne
Solaris paced back and forth before the large wooden door that led to the outside world.
He was anxious to get started. To hurry up and get to the castle and retrieve the cure. If there was one.
Shaking his head in annoyance, he quickly dismissed the idea that there was no cure. It was far to depressing to think otherwise.
Leaning against the door a few feet away from him, Jasper raised a paw to his mouth and coughed violently into it.
This discovery was perfectly timed, he could feel the virus spreading, tearing apart the antibiotics he'd gotten from the hospital. If he could maintain control until Solaris and his hunting part returned with the cure, he'd be fine.
"You dont look so good." Xavier mused in concern, glancing his captain over.
"I'll live..." The Raichu chocked out, pressing a paw to his forehead.
The Umbreon turned to stare at the floor. His heart fluttering in concern. Something horrible was bound to happen.
He could feel it.
Standing just behind the two adults, Ami and Rayne exchanged glances. Everyone was so tense. It was very scary.
   
Jazz---Anthony---Fire---Volkner
Slowly trotting into the room, Jazz paused to look around for any familiar faces. He had left Siggy at the Hotpsprings upon hearing the bell, yes his ears were that sensitive, and had hurried here.
Along the way he'd bumped into Anthony who was strolling away from Team Gravity's room, apparently having been visiting his Delcatty friend.
"More trouble?" The Smeargle questioned with a smirk.
"This guild screams trouble, painter. So lame~" A Flareon with a burning ruff and tail replied to him. Her red eyes flickering like embers.
"Yes, lame. It is so very lame to be expected to protect your home." A pink light red Luxio growled, stepping forward next to the others already there.
"Oh, get over yourself Volky." Fire hissed back, flames sputtering from the corners of her mouth.
Volkner rolled his eyes but said nothing.

 ~Jack ~Morgan  ~Mugen
Jack hovered over the crowed cautiously. Only around for the reason of being the present babysitter again. Getting all the young'ns, including his own, to stay out of an adventure like this, was just apparently out of the question. Morgan meanwhile had already joined up with Ami and Rayne.
Mugen arrived with the lot, a bit more tense than his usual calm self considering what he had to deal with before this whole shindig started, figuring now was no better than any other time to speak with his leader. After waiting for his coughing fit to be over, Mugen cautiously made his way over to Jasper and tapped the Raichu on the shoulder to get his attention."Uhmm, sir? Can we talk for a minute." He muttered out, feeling weird for addressing the caped Pokemon as a power greater than his own.

Flint arrived shortly after Volkner, staggering along while holding his head from time to time. Holy Arceus he was in a lot of pain and the loud murmurings of a crowd such as what he was in now was just not helping.

  Mitch & Cadarl Cadarl floated grudgingly behind Mitch, who was scampering into the meeting place as fast as he could.
The Chimchar had pulled the Shuppet away from hanging out with Suki just for the warning bell. It would probably be nothing.
Still, he was obligated to follow in his leader's footsteps... If he was ever to take charge of the Team, he would need to please Mitch.
Even if that idea was very distasteful to him.
Mitch scampered up to Xavier, who was really the only pokemon in the room that he was acquainted with.
"What's going on?" he asked, a fairly serious expression on his face. This was very un-suited for the cute little Chimchar.
Cadarl sighed inwardly, echoing the question with a, "Yes, what is so important?"

The trio entered the hall, wondering if there would be another fight so soon. It seemed as if the bell had been rung rather often lately, almost as if cosmic forces were compelling events to happen. They stayed near the walls; Tolin decided to observe everyone before taking an active role. Albus simply wished to avoid talking to his cousin, and Puer is... well, Puer. ((I'll be leaving my house shortly for about 30~ minutes, so nobody bother talking to me unless they want a non-response for a bit. Sarcasm on the "cosmic forces" thing, by the way razz ))

 ZeroZero had been recovering at the Hospital, and word got around about the discovery of where the Virus came from. Despite the protest of the nurses and the staff in general, he hopped out of bed towards the guild. Knowing them, they'd do something. Go and hunt down the origins of the virus, something, anything! And Zero wasn't standing aside and let it happen and possibly fail without him. Anything he could find out about the virus, anything he could use to save Zosee...it was worth risking his life for. Because that's what he was doing. Ever since last week, when he got hit by Spike's machine straight-on, he had lost control of a part of his magic. Fire magic. If it acted up again, Zero could easily overheat and die. He heard the Castle's alarm going off and ran faster. An experienced explorer, he could keep up his pace for quite a long time...   Atra && KataraKatara and Atra were flying around and above the castle, practising some aerial manoeuvres when the alarm sounded. "Damn it." Atra muttered. Katara knew by now what the alarm meant, and angled her wings to descend. They landed outside the castle, and Katara pushed the door open with one extended wing before striding inside. Atra thought about demanding what was going on, but decided against it as he looked over at Solaris. He'll tell them all soon enough. The eevee felt the reassuring -and ungainly- weight of the Earth Plate tied to his back and felt like he could take anything on.   Incultyr && Chronicler Incultyr swore, and headed out the door. Behind him Altus was sleeping soundly, still recovering from his injuries. That's what happens when you fight something more than ten times larger than you. Damned Gyaradoses. From the girl's room, Chronicler came out into the hallway. "Ohhhh, not again." The Cherrim protested, remembering the last time she had answered the Guild alarm. Urrrkkk. The two of them left for the main hall.   Crown && AcerCrown was left behind alone with Acer. Morana was tending the shop today. Unfortunately, Incultyr and Chronicler did not shut the door behind them. Before Crown could, the baby Turtwig had run out of the room, screaming happily as it went in the direction everything else did. Crown struggled her way slowly out of the room, moving about as fast a caterpie could. Which wasn't very fast. "Aceraceae! I demand that you get back here right now! There will be consequences young man!"

"By the looks of it, we found out where that illness has been coming from."
Xavier explained to the Chimchar and Shuppet.
Jasper opened his mouth to answer the Sceptile when Solaris suddenly began to speak and he gave Mugen a look that clearly said 'later'.
"We have finally found out the source of this strange sickenss that has been spreading. I'll need volunteers to come with me and investigate, and maybe we will find a cure there. The rest of you will remain here to guard the guild."
The Espeon paused and his eyes glanced around for an authoritative figure to stick in charge and landed on Jasper with a grin.
"Mrr, fine." The Raichu muttered, catching that look and rolled his lone eye. "I'll babysit your stupid guild."
With that matter settled, Solaris headed for the door.
Ami didnt even hesitate, she quickly rushed to follow her father.
Rayne was far more apprehensive and finally decided to stick to her grandfather, thusly scooting to his side.
With a quick nod to Jasper the Umbreon also remained. Like hell he'd leave this grumpy b*****d in charge of these kids.
[Split your team up as you wish, one must got to the appointed area, the other remains at the guild. If you have more than one team you may still divide it up as you see fit. If your RPing with only one, choose whichever path you wish.
Once everyones posted whose going where, we shall begin! XD Kukukuku~]
Jazz---Anthony---Fire---Volkner
Jazz, noticing that Anthony had moved to follow Solaris, stayed where he was, as did Fire.
Volkner glanced to Flint and flashed his sharp teeth in a smirk before following after the Espeon.
Let the drunken bunny stay here.

Mitch & Cadarl Cadarl and Mitch patiently listened to the explanation although, admittedly, neither knew what this illness was all about.
They had heard about it before, but they really hadn't been there long enough to know the details, even less about anyone who may or may not have been infected by it.
The two exchanged glances and, by some form of communication that can only be understood by Captains and their Co-Captains, each, without verbal contact, knew where they were going.
Mitch, being the bolder of the two, was going to travel with Solaris and the others to investigate the cure.
Cadarl would remain with the guild and silently protect with all of his vigor, even though he didn't have that much to protect with.
They each went their respective ways, Mitch scampering away while Cadarl floated over to Jasper and the others in a very dignified manner.
"Dumb Chimchar. He'll get himself killed," Cadarl muttered under his breath, in a slightly mocking tone. But it was mostly brotherly.

Zero Zero burst into the room just in time to hear Solaris declare that they are going to go search for a cure. It's not like Zero's going to bother guarding a guild he had no ties to -except that of his little sister's of course- and the thought of curing Zosee and seeing her again made him grin like an idiot. The Glaceon turned to follow the Espeon as he went past, not saying a word. He'll find this cure, no matter what it takes. Atra && Katara Atra listened to Solaris and considered. Well, on one hand, he really didn't want to be bothered with going off to who-knows-where, on the other hand, it seems that if he stay, he's be expected to sit around and guard the guild. Booorrrinng. "Alright, let's go!" Atra and katara went after the guildmaster. Incultyr && Chronicler Incultyr turned to look at Chronicler and the Cherrim just groaned. "No no no no and no." She protested. She wanted nothing to do with this Virus ever again, not after last time. Incultyr watched Atra and katara leave and shrugged. "Fine, we'll stay then. Looks like the eevee and the ditto are going in our place."Crown && Acer Acer continued to run down the hall, towards the main hall, laughing as crown struggled to catch up to him. "Catch me Crown, catch~ Try!" The Turwig laughed. The Caterpie huffed as she continued to crawl as fast as she could, to no avail. (Crown + Acer's staying)

After his daughter decided to race her way out the door after Ami, Jack had no choice but to follow mumbling to himself angrily at how it seemed all these kids did whatever the hell they wanted around here.
"Sir..?" Mugen questioned again, now prodding Jasper's shoulder harder than before. He rarely asked much of his leader and this was kinda' important. The Sceptile probably should have been able to take a hint that he didn't want to be bothered right now but his social skills were always a little off...

Flint pouted as he was left alone, having no complaints though once he realized that with nearly half the population gone there was plenty less noise for him to deal with.

" Puer, stay here and protect the guild. I don't know what will happen, but if Solaris has asked us to stay he's expecting something. Get ASAR and stay safe. I'm going to go with Solaris." Puer nodded and turned to head for the residential wing. " Alright. Be careful." Albus followed close behind Tolin, intent on going.

Xavier---Jasper---Rayne
The second Solaris exited, the Raichu and Umbreon moved to lock the door. Bolting it securely.
"Well, I guess we just sit here bored out of our mind til he returns huh?" Xavier joked, sitting down near the wall of the door.
Upon being pestered by Mugen again, the Raichu let out a snarl that was far more aggressive than normal, it sent little Rayne scrambling for cover.
"Not now Mu-" He lurched forward, eyes widening and suddenly heaved a slew of blood across the floor.
"...oh s**t."
Xavier grabbed Rayne by the scruff and stepped back.
"...you...you were infected?! This whole time!?"
In reply the Raichu snarled and took a step forward, unleashing a Hyper Beam.
The Umbreon dodged the blast, but the door could not and it was shattered into pieces...allowing a horde of infected Pokemon to enter.
Jazz---Fire
"SONOFABITCH!" Fire squealed out, rushing forward as the attack began with a Flame Wheel.
Behind her Jazz took a step back and waited, not ready to leap into battle.
[Dont worry about your Pokemon getting infected this time. ;3]
Infected Pokemon Count: x40

Cadarl Cadarl whipped around, watching as Jasper unleashed a hyper beam in a very uncharacteristic (although he was known for being a bit mean) manner.
The Shuppet, intelligent enough to know that mindless pokemon invading their guild was generally NOT a good thing, immediatley went into action.
He first released a Screech, affecting all of the infected pokemon around him and causing their defenses to lower.
He then used a Night Shade attack on a nearby Houndour.

Mugen's eyes widened at the Raichu's response, spewing blood and destroying establishments he was supposed to be protecting."Fine, be that way..." He grumbled with his head down, sulking away until he heard a familiar voice squealing in what sounded like fear. In the blink of an eye he was at Fire's side aiding in the burning of the army, taking down at least two with his Dragonbreath flames."Hi there~" He sent a smirk in the direction of the Flareon between his attacks.

"Oh dear..." Flint peeped out, half tempted to back away from the oncoming onslaught of infected but one, a lone Sableye had already attempted to wildly attack him. And to top things off the room was too damn loud again. With a grunt of anger he slammed down on the infected ghost type with a Fire Punch attack.

Incultyr && Chronicler Chronicler screamed when the Mercenary Raichu guy went insane and Hyper Beam'd the door. She stared as infected Pokemon started storming the main hall. Aw what the heck, she stayed to avoid something like this! Incultyr'd first reaction was to go after Jasper. He figured out right away that the Raichu was infected, and the mercenary was much more of a threat than the untrained infected townspeople that were coming in. He ran at the Raichu, a ball of dark energy forming between his hands. As he neared, he chucked it at Jasper. Chronicler on the other hand, seemed to have resigned herself to this. "Damn it." She cursed as a Nidorino charged at her, drooling, blood leaking out of its eyes. When the hell did so many more pokemon get infected again? Chronicler quickly jumped to the side as the Nidorino tried to bite her. The Cherrim nimbly danced around the infected Pokemon. She gathered up magical leaves before her, and they all sank into the poison-ground type, one at a time. Eventually, the thing finally collapsed and Chronicler turned to keep herself safe from other attacks (-1) Crown && Acer The baby turtwig burst into the main hall, blinking in confusion. Right in front of him stood a Totodile, and as far as the naive Acer knew, it didn't look all too good. For one thing, there was blood near its eyes, and Acer was taught that blood meant someone was hurt. "Me Acer!" He introduced himself. "You OK?"The Totodile just growled and spat a strong current of water at him. Crying out in surprise, the Turtwig was sent flying back, right into a certain Caterpie. The two of them landed in a tangled pile, and Acer started crying loudly. (-0, since they're both useless)
